Can Alt Shift do some theory videos on this stuff? Mormon mythology and old testament stuff seems Thrones level mad, and plenty of fan theories to draw upon.

I had a theory similar to a small portion of this video. The Bible says that when Adam and Eve left the garden, he placed a Cherubim at the east of eden to guard it with a sword of fire that points in all directions. In the apocrypha book The Life of Adam and Eve (which is one of the best theological stories I've ever read, next to another apocrypha book called the Book of Jubilees) it says that after eve ate of the fruit, the garden started to wither up and die. Everything in the garden basically turned to dust.
Anyway, my theory was that the Sphinx was the Cherubim (also known as Seraph Angels) and the desert west of the Sphinx contained the Garden of Eden. We can't find the garden of eden because we are looking near the Tigris and Euphrates rivers due to the bible mentioning those two rivers, plus two other rivers. The problem is, those two other rivers don't exist. I submit that the two rivers we call the Tigris and Euphrates are actually different rivers that were named after the original two which are dried up now but located west of the sphinx.
Of course, these were just a few random thoughts I had and I really don't hold them to be truths, I (for some odd reason) feel very satisfied with this explanation. It just kinda... feels right, you know? Hard to explain. But fun to think about.
