As for their relevancy, the fact that billions of people believe in their content and swear by them, or that the Bible is the has sold more copies than any other work in the world should be make it clear that they are incredibly relevant. I'm not a religious person, but these are the books that have shaped our world. Denying it isn't helping anyone. Especially now that we're going through the most world-changing period in history since the writing of these books. They might help us predict what the world might look like afterwards.

Those Holy Books do nothing but serve to perpetuate hatred, justify heinous activity, and poison children's minds. We are far beyond the need for them in today's world beyond academic, historical study. They may have shaped our world, but our world has grown smart enough to throw them in the trash fire and move on to greater things.

I believe that the belief is that over periods of "time" after death, they can rise, but that might just be my interpretation.
