Keep it we have 3 of these. We are in our early 60's and are having so much fun. Takes the stress out of pedaling up slight hills. Or fly up big hills in high mode. Very well done. I must say only took me 40 minutes to put together

Thanks for this review. I just purchased this bike and took it out for my first ride. I found it difficult to peddle without the peddle assist and I thought I might have put it together wrong. However based on this video I know I put it together correctly. The speed of this bike does scare me but I know after several practice rides I should get use to that. Thanks again.

Bought this bike after watching this review. Only had it a few days but I really like it and it is faster than I expected. Would definitely recommend so far. Only took about 30 minutes to assemble.

Im a disabled vet from Afghanistan got shot in the knee but that was 10yrs ago, so I need something thats not going to put alot of stress on my 55yr old knees lol

Thank you for your service and your sacrifice. This bike does not put a lot of stress on your knees. Especially if you buy a bike seat that can support you comfortably. Also, the handlebar being adjustable gives you the ability to ride upright (and not leaning forward...which sometimes would add stress on my knees on a traditional bike).

Thanks, your video was great to watch, and I'd be curious to know @heroesnstuff, if you are still feeling satisfied with this ride after a few months? I also read that sometimes this Ecotric has an issue with the front tire abruptly locking up--which has caused crashes. That's, of course, scary to me--so curious if you have any news on that, in your experience?

Hello. Yes I am still satisfied with the bike (and ride weekly). I haven't had any issues with the tire abruptly locking-up. One time the tire locked up (before I started riding) but it was because the handle bar was twisted the wrong way (and I think the bike sensor knew this and didn't allow for me to start riding).

Yes. The S900 is a direct swap for the speed controller to replace the 810 - not sure about the SW900 but it looks exactly the same. With the S900, you can get into the advanced settings and unlock the speed limiter.
To unlock the top speed limiter with the S900 display, you simply press and hold the up and down arrows until you see P01 in the top right of the display. Press the middle button (mode) until you see p07 in the top right of the display. From there just press the up arrow button until you get to 45 - this represents km/h. This will increase the top speed to 28 mph.
However, with the rider's weight and other road variables I can only manage just over 26mph at 150lbs.
With the 810 display controller, I think I remember reading that if you open the box under the battery to gain access to the speed controller, you just simply have to disconnect the white wire and that will get rid of the top speed limiter.
