    Great video. Thank you for taking the time to do it. Your video instructions helped us to make sure we assembled the bike correctly, since the provided instructions were extremely lacking.

    I just to leave a comment of appreciation for making this video. I assembled the bike today successfully, thanks to you! Like many other commenters mentioned, you saved me tons of hours. Thank you very very much!

    This video definitely helped (and hurt) me. Helped way more than hurt! I did the handlebars 5 times before I realized I had to tighten the 2 screws because in the video you said you were tightening the screws you “loosened earlier”. Also, my front tire mechanism does not have a lever lock, but, it seems to work! Couldn’t have put it together without you!

      @justsomecoolprayingmantisd6422 Před rokem +1

      My front axel on my bike didn’t have a lever lock either. Wonder if they done away with that or something 🤔 . I searched and searched for that piece but never found it.

    The front fender extended brackets are not meant to be spread-out, like you did. They go INSIDE the fork! Then the Reflector bracket fits :)

    • @RSDX99
      @RSDX99 Před 5 lety +1

      Obviously you have not assembled this brand of bike. NW do the brackets go inside the fork.

    I would leave that tab on that you cut off for the reflector. It L’Accident place now it’s only depending on the screw tightness. Thanks for the video it got me through the assembly😀

    I just got an ecotric Hammer bike yesterday. There are only two issues so far can you put the seat down? Because if they had a regular seatpost you could are those adjustable seats? When I hit the right brake it makes a funny noise I wonder what that is? It was quite difficult I ordered from u t z y. They just left it outside my door. I had no idea how big a hammer bike would be. It's more like a 125 dirt bike. I did it all with one leg. Then I took off and my handlebars weren't tight I'm the bottom part so I fell down got up went back to my garage and fix this truck off almost hit a car because I did not know how fast this bike is and it's really hard to turn like I used to on my regular GT bike. Did anybody notice how hard it is to turn not like you can turn on a dime? I'd say be really extremely careful the first time you ride one. I did not realize how fast it can go even 20 is fast on a bike to go when you take off that fast. So I almost hit a van but instead of going straight into it cuz I was making a right turn I went to somebody's yard and smashed my the rest of my leg the nub of course nobody helped me but I help myself I went home. And I thought oh no I can't even ride this thing but I got back on it and rode it 12 miles. I am 58 years old and that you're older like me my whole body hurt but my nub I know I broke it and that's the most fun I've had in years. I mean that bike will save my life because I don't want a freaking wheelchair would you? This gives me freedom to do what I want without a driver's license in New York they suck I didn't get a DWI since 1997 but I'm supposed to go to outpatient rehab when I don't even drink anymore. These people really suck in New York if they change these laws I'll move to another state just so I can ride my ebike. I have to get another seat post for the hammer bike because the hammer bike has some weird seatpost and I don't know if you can adjust it but I don't want to try and not be able to ride it to go to the place to get the part. I would say these are just as dangerous or more dangerous then riding a motorcycle. If I had kids I don't think I would ever buy them an electric bicycle because they probably would die. I hope they don't change the laws so I can not legally ride but I would ride anyway and I will tell them if I can ride a wheelchair how come I can't ride a bike? A wheelchair is so much more dangerous I can get an electric wheelchair as a matter of fact I just may get one so I can just go down the street shopping but when you sit in a wheelchair long enough you get holes in your pocket and you die like my friend did or you end up with a colostomy bag I don't want to be like that I want to be free this ecotric Hammer bike made me free!! It's the only bike I ever need to buy the rest of my life and I would sell them if I could and I would know everything about them by the time I do these are the wave of the future and it could save our our planet. Especially if you have a solar charger that is Affordable for the average consumer which they do not right now. As far as I could see you have to make your own. But if you're out camping in the woods or somewhere and you had a charger it would be amazing a solar charger. Or if you had some way to charge it while you're riding that would be even better but too heavy probably. I know I write a lot I don't have anybody to talk to I talk to myself most of the time it's a sad life with kids that don't even care

    I assembled mine today using this video as a guide from time to time. It’s all together however the fork seems very stiff and not fluent kind of like it’s sticking and needs lubricant but you didn’t use any. On top of that no matter how tight I attach the fork to the frame it has a slight wiggle to it, very very small but I imagine it’s not supposed to and over time might cause damage. Any suggestions ?
    Update : returned the bike even with replacement parts bike doesn’t assemble properly

    • @jeffkovacs5974

      sticking because steering stem bearings too tight. slight wiggle due to front axle.. make sure dust cap for stem is in place, both bottom and top

    August 2023
    I bought one, Ecotric Cheetah 20, used it for almost a month and returned it for full refund. It may be okay for paved roads use but it sucked on gravel roads and smal hills and low difficulty trails. I have 3 other ebikes, all under $1,150 delivered, and this was the worst, at $730 delivered.
    Brakes are mechanical/cable and are noisy and weak, and wore down fast.
    Battery rattled too much in its holder and would break connection, causing lag, to total loss, and also sometimes shutting the bike controller off.
    The light minimally bright for off-road use.
    I would get 16 miles on a full charge with 95% throttle (very little pedaling, just to get up hills it would not handle).
    Customer service was helpful enough and didn't argue about the issues. Provided return label and said full refund would be issued. I used it for 3.5 weeks and put 110 miles on it.
    I would not recommend it, and instead would go with the Ridstar 20ah battery fat tire for $1,100 delivered. I have bought two of these, after testing one for 2 months. Amazon.
    Happy trails!

    Anyone on the fence...get the bike. I'm 1100 miles in sing mid July of 2019. Built mine into a commuter. I ride it every single day. Built Luke a tank, good motor, good tires (the back tire barely has any wear on it). Only thing I have replace is the brake shoes and added a lit of aftermarket upgrades (if you are worried about racks and fenders) here you go. photos.app.goo.gl/rMJcaMaYbLh7ft2K8
