    It's been a few years, but I believe it's worth mentioning: WD-40 alone is not a lubricant. Especially for chains.
    WD-40 adds an initial lubrication to metal, then it dries out and it does the opposite. The spray is actually used to CLEAN lubrications, oils, grease, water, etc. So after using it for cleaning, you still have to add chain lubricant to your chain.
    I can't tell if you added it later on or not since the video cuts off from that part.
    Lastly, at 13:24 looks like you're pedaling, based on the movement of the camera. It also makes sense since you're going uphill.

    • @SpecNReviewz
      @SpecNReviewz  Před rokem +1

      It's there line for bike chains there is a degreaser and a lubricant that they sell. It not normal wd40.

    August 2023
    I bought one, Ecotric Cheetah 20, used it for almost a month and returned it for full refund. It may be okay for paved roads use but it sucked on gravel roads and smal hills and low difficulty trails. I have 3 other ebikes, all under $1,150 delivered, and this was the worst, at $730 delivered.
    Brakes are mechanical/cable and are noisy and weak, and wore down fast.
    Battery rattled too much in its holder and would break connection, causing lag, to total loss, and also sometimes shutting the bike controller off.
    The light minimally bright for off-road use.
    I would get 16 miles on a full charge with 95% throttle (very little pedaling, just to get up hills it would not handle).
    Customer service was helpful enough and didn't argue about the issues. Provided return label and said full refund would be issued. I used it for 3.5 weeks and put 110 miles on it.
    I would not recommend it, and instead would go with the Ridstar 20ah battery fat tire for $1,100 delivered. I have bought two of these, after testing one for 2 months. Amazon.
    Happy trails!

      I looked up the lectric xp 2.0 is the one I looked at. I like that it comes with a lcd from what it looks like, the cargo rack, and the suppension fork that is awesome so you don't have to upgrade or buy them later. The tire is a 3 x 20 so it's not as wide as mine is from the video I think it would be fine depending on terrain and personal preference. The battery is bigger then the one on mine (36v 12amp) that is 48v 9.8amp. Only thing I can see is that it has that square body in the middle and from others I have heard that you can bump your knee when riding on the part that folds because it is kind of big. So I just stayed away from that type when I was looking but it could be different for each person. The Dolphine one I could only find the one from ecotric if you know the model let me know and I will look again. But that one is a more body preference my mom got that one it is easier for her to get on the bike because it is a step thru and she does not have to lift her leg up and over to get one. When I get on it I do notice a difference in gear ratios it is more of a beach cruisers but the motor and the battery are the same. Ecotric has a folding bike with a bigger battery 48v 13amp it's bigger then the one in the video a little bigger then the Lectric but same look just with lcd screen to now. I love ecotric customer service I have contacted them only twice now one for what I said in the video and the other time just recently to get the new bearings to put on the suppension fork. Going to make a video on that soon will explain it more there lol. Hopefully this help you out 😀 and have fun bike shopping.

    I thought the bike was 800W but I can't find one. Highest I found was 500W. Did you say the wrong wattage in the video?

    • @SpecNReviewz
      @SpecNReviewz  Před 3 lety

      No I said 500 at 3:10 did I say it wrong somewhere else? For e bikes when i was looking I think you would have to go to a 750watt or 1000watt motor i did not see any 800watt.

    • @khronin
      @khronin Před 3 lety

      A 500 watt motor can put out 800 watts for hills.I have a 750 bafang motor and for hills it pushes 1300 to 1400 watts--but I agree--get a 750 if you can--it will add 500 or even double the price--but well worth it.Most 750s also have hydraulic brakes and better batteries--etc.I am also on PAS 3--which is light peddling--can get 60 miles plus on one charge.In fact i went 50 miles normal use--had half a bar left--and used the throttle only for another 5 to 8 miles and still had half the battery life left. I have a CSC 750--price was 1688 from CSC.If you plan on riding on trails--a nonfolding bike is more durable and more stable.

    • @khronin
      @khronin Před 3 lety

      Or you can get one of these and add a front only hub motor which is what i plan on doing with my 750 since i ride trails and want the extra torque.Yu can get a 1000w front hub motor and battery for 400 to 500 and would make this thing an awd monster--but I would not go fast on trails since these are less stable.

      @SpecNReviewz  Před 3 lety

      I have road on hard dirt and it does fine. Not sure on the hard snow or sand though. On soft sand I can lose my balance if going to fast I have fallen off but that is because I was going fast on a turn with soft sand was having fun lol. I am sure you can still slip on hard snow so it would be like anything else you ride. But I have not rode in a lot of snow so not much experience there 😅

    • @SpecNReviewz
      @SpecNReviewz  Před 3 lety

      Just looked at your rc video I think the bike would be fine on that terrain I would be going a little slower on sharp turns but I think it would just come down to just ride experience and how comfortable you feel. 😀
