I've been a part of some incredible wedding days, but this has to be one of my favorites. Chelsie was involved in a tragic car accident when she was young, leaving her paralyzed from he waist down, but it's obvious that never slowed her down.
I love how Jay opens up when he's talking about Chelsie. He was even crying on our first FaceTime chat, such a softie.
We wanted to bring together all sides of their wedding day in this video, from the anticipation of the big moment, down to the massive party at the end.
For gear I used a Canon c70 and my second had an R5.

Absolutely a wonderful man and she's a wonderful woman and they both deserve that special love that lasts a lifetime and they're a beautiful couple. The wheelchair doesn't mean anything it just shows the strength and the bond that they both have with one another. It's what's in the heart and soul that matters. I also married a beautiful girl in a wheelchair.
Unfortunately she is dead now these last 17 Years.
Only once did my wife stand up to dance with me, and that was with calipers on her legs.
Can you imagine the scenario.
I had to tell my parents that I was leaving the Parachute Regiment in order to marry a girl in wheelchair.
She was already married but getting divorced plus she already had a daughter who was 11 months old wen I met her.
My Wife might be dead, but thankfully 'our' daughter still calls me Dad.
God I bloody loved that Woman.
My two Sons are now both dead but I still have our 3 girls.
This is the sweetest husband on Earth , my God bless your marriage

The fact that the bride will stand for her husband physically and spiritually says enough on how truly lucky he is.
We did this for my paralyzed brother's high school graduation 15 years ago...never cried that much in my life of happiness and yet sadness of what was taken from him at the same time.

I don't know how I didn't notice that but I just played it back, and I'm sobbing. Both of my parent's passed when I was young, so when I imagine my future wedding, it's always bittersweet. But his mom was definitely there with them. God bless them.
immediately started crying especially when he saw her stand up. He looks so in love with her and over the moon with happiness. I love seeing unconditional blind love where it's always about what's in their hear not about what they look like.

What you both have found in eachother including what's in their heart. Beautiful...My Mom was a paraplegic and had myself and my two siblings. She was the best Mom a kid could ever have and I never once looked at her differently than anyone else just because she could not walk. You brought back a lot of memories - so happy for you - with your attitude and having a great supportive man by your side, I wish you the best.

My wife and I also bought a Condo in Florida.
I would be taking to some people then my wife would push herself over in her wheelchair.
This was in response to the look of visible shock on the faces of the people I had been speaking with

I just stood there and usualy grinned.
I had said, " I only married her because I knew she would never walk out on me !"
Afterwards there would be a cautious laughter.
It was a "stabnding" joke with us.

She truly lives, loves, and accomplishes more than most people who can run or walk anywhere. This hits me close to home since it took me several months after cancer and blood clots rendered me bedridden for around six weeks. Determination will get you everywhere.

Watching this just brings back memories from my wedding. I couldn’t believe my eyes the one I have married. 4yrs in counting of being married. Just seems better and better as time goes on.
