- We spend a few days in our narrowboat moored on the Grand Union canal at Campbell Park in Milton Keynes. We use the Amazon Locker to get online deliveries and then head back to Stoke Bruerne via Cosgrove.

That only happened to us once. We were in bed and in the middle of the night we could feel ourselves rolling to one side then all of a sudden the mallet dropped to the floor followed by the windlass. What a shock to find the boat leaning right over! Exactly the same thing had happened, the pound had emptied and we were grounded. Mind you waking with a start I was convinced the boat was sinking 😳. Unfortunately it was 4am so there wasn’t much we could do but in the morning when boats started to move it filled really quickly. It’s all good experience I suppose. Thanks for another great video.

All the things you guys are doing is a bonus for me. I’m looking and learning. We all have to start somewhere, wether it be motor-homing, Caravanning and in your case narrowboating. It’s great that others are on hand to give you advice especially when the water level drops while mored up. Can’t be doing with a sloping cooker or bunk. Live and learn. Great that your motorhome pals paid you a visit and meeting up with the other Mark. Nice to see a friendly face for Alfie & Bonnie too. As you can tell from my comments here I’m catching up one video vlog at a time. Found the Amazon delivery thing very interesting too. I’m writing this today 15th Mar 2019. Still looking at narrowboats but Lynne not as interested as I am unfortunately. I’ve got to keep on gently saying to her this is like Caravanning except on water. Lol. Take care folks and K9’s.

Well Deck Diaries.......hi folks. I’m doing my best, we’ve looked at loads of videos of canal life. I never get fed up watching. Lynne likes watching them too. A couple of times she’s even said “put the next one on” lol. We’ve booked all our caravan holidays for this year but would gladly cancel them if she had the nerve to just say, right let’s sell up and do it. Gently does it. Change of subject ! Glad you’re getting some decent beer to sample. Nothing worse than a cloudy beer with no head on at all. 😂 I think I’m all caught up on your vlogs now. Don’t leave it too late for the next one. 👍

Did I see a mobile phone holder stuck on the window at the start of the video, if so, what a cracking idea. If not, I've had a cracking idea. Should help keeping signal in my narrowboat.
dicantria correct, talk to people on hands free with the phone there and also leave it there for internet access and tether the laptop and Amazon fire stick to it
A good video, pleased you like MK, I love it , great to drive through (V roads go North & South, H roads go East to West - not a lot of people know this!). Announced in 1965, I was working for HM Gov. in 1967 and spent 4 years referencing and buying houses in the New City. It has grown and is well planned and the New Centre is excellent, although my wife does not like it. On and off have worked there ever since (left HM Gov. in 1970 for London.....). Spent a lot of time up there as a kid, no houses or boats then, just working boats and great fishing. Happy Days. We have started the night floating level and woke up aground where you had problems

Nice one Guys. I watch a couple of other regular channels (mainly car related) and one in particular is very good called Petrolped. Worth a look to see if there are any tips or hints you can get. Peter who does them is very slick. He always posted at 6pm with a midweek 180 ( which is a 3 min review of upcoming content) and then a main on Friday. Well worth a look at his style. Loving the videos though. Great adventure.

Love your vlogs. Do you like narrow boating better than traveling around in a caravan? Also, we have favorite vlogs of yours that we often watch more than once. Since we hit the “Like” button every time we watch, we wonder if that is registered every time. Our favorite is Frozen in Braunston. We love seeing you with your doggies in your laps because we do the same thing with our little buddies.
at the moment the answer would be yes, but we do miss the caravan holidays.
I think when you hit the like button it registers if you hit it again it takes it away, try it next time you watch a video hit the like button, it turns blue, hit it again it goes back to grey
Hello guys, I'm working my way though your videos and loving them all. My partner and I have just brought a 50ft narrow boat which is moored at foxes in March we are renovating it ready for this spring and summer. I have a question regarding internet, do you have have wireless or just 4G on your phone? We have a teenager who can't live without it, any advice would be greatly received. Thanks Sam
sam templeman we managed the first 6 months just using our phones but get got a Three homefi router unlimited data £20 a month. Good luck with the boat restoration. My cousin has a leisure narrowboat moored at Foxes

We have met him and his wife, he's a few moorings up from us lovely couple, I think I'm partner helped him with a leak on his boat and he gave us some stuff for our toilet. We love boating community. We are nearly done now we have completely changed the layout of the boat so it works better for us. We went out last summer on Harry then started rage remodelling October time.
