wild moored many a time along this wooded section, just before the Goba on the nature reserve. So peaceful. Pity you had to turn back, but it gets so shallow in sunmmer and many have grounded , including us !!

So good to see you guys back,to be honest I did wonder if it was the Covid that got you Still all's well that ends well your'e both looking good. Well a very weedy and smokey episode but despite that some very nice scenery. Glad no one was hurt in the fire but it was quite spectacular. I've noticed in both yours and other videos that Cruisers seem to be becoming more numerous or ,am I watching more river cruises. My last vacation living in the UK was on the Norfolk Broads, we had a nice cruiser and had a great time along with a couple of crazy adventures. I hope you both get a Covid booster we had our 5th shot 2 weeks ago of the bivalent version and a Flu shot as well but we are still quite cautious.

There's lots more cruisers on the rivers than on the canals. We was only commenting the other day we'd love to try one out for a weekend.

glad you're both on the mend , we had the covid a few months ago , & we really lost our appetite , & my tastebuds went , everything tasted like burnt metal, eeeyuk lol , & we felt lethargic all the time , when i saw all that black smoke , the first thing i thought was , is that someone was burning tyres , but that fire looked really bad , hope they managed to put it out , take care both of you & get yourselves some vitamin C & D . xxx
Apparently it was a tyre recycling centre with 40 tones of shredded tyres that caught light

We had COVID-19 back in March, after being very careful all through lock down. But it was no worse than a bad cold, although we both suffered from a chesty cough for a couple of weeks afterwards. Recently, I've heard from several friends who have also suffered the same fate. That was quite a fire you came across. Probably a lot of rubber burning.

What a shame. I had a great trip up the Little Ouse and there was no weed there in June. I turned easily at Brandon but when vlogger Narrowboat Will went up there it was too shallow and he had to reverse out so maybe you had a lucky escape.

This river is run by the environment agency, they do have weed cutters which have been very busy this year
Great video as usual. We had covid earlier this year, I recovered quite well but my partner has had a chest infection and still has a tight chest 6 months later.
She is receiving treatment for it over the last two months and improving.
So be careful if your chest stays tight and you don't feel you are filling your lungs properly,
Wish you both a full recovery.

Unfortunately it’s not if, but when you get it. My wife and I have somehow managed not to get it. Both of our young boys have had it, and we’ve been around people with it as well as flown and been in many public places and still haven’t had it. 🤷🏻 We are all immunized 💉for Omicron now as well. We’re not scared to get it, we just don’t want it, like we don’t want the flu or any cold. 🤒 glad you two are feeling better. I assume by the outdoor temp, that this happened some time ago.

Just take it easy, it can take a while to get totally back to health. I had covid 5 weeks ago and still haven't got all energy back. There seems to be a lot of weed around, other vloggers have been getting caught in it too. Take care and don't forget to slap on the sunscreen Mark, a bit red on the shoulders.
