They called back the next day, I think this job is for people with anxiety and PTSD like myself, I would rather slave in a warehouse than work with people and socialize
Yeah it's great if you like to work by yourself. There's alot of other people there but you don't really interact much. I would rather work in a warehouse than somewhere you have to deal with customers.
If you work for amazon, I want to personally thank you for all your hard work. I sell on Amazon and without you all, I wouldn't be able to do what I do.
Wow! When I first clicked on your video I thought it was going to be a complaint video but, you really explained the environment to where others could really get a feel for it. Good Job!
.....You're Good at Describing the Work Environment.....I hope Amazon realized your Communication Talent while you were with them......your Attitude is Very Constructive & Mature...!!!..........Thanks for Spending So Much Time Putting this video together......!!!!
Shera DiVito Hi Shera can you tell me how long they take to get you started? I will be an Amazonian for a few months, for fulfillment. Please let me know, thank you ☺
Thanks so much! I've been contemplating working at a Target center, and I'd assume the same rules apply. I generally hate watching long videos, but man somehow you kept me hooked and before I knew it I was 20 minutes in lol. Thanks again God Bless.
haha I know, it was too long, you can even see it getting darker as the video goes on because the suns going down! haha. thanks for hanging in till the end!!
I have my first interview tomorrow, so I watched this whole video and I just wanted to say you are absolutely lovely. I LOVE your personality and couldn't stop watching :) thank you for taking the time to share this information with us. It was very helpful.
A company like this with their strict working rules are the reason why there are Unions out there. A good company that treats their employees with decency and respect, doesn't need a Union.
Shera DiVito. Do yall get to talk and hang out when its not busy? Do yall hang out with coworkers after work? Are family able to work together in the same warehouse? What city you work in?
Amazon fulfillment center employment described here sounds like a good job for people under 25, suffering from arrested development, and possess a 'just passing through' mindset.
nnnnnnnp Target? you mean that place where I was targeted to get fired for leaving keys in the bailer? I loved being a backroom picker but walmart was better hands down.
I love the way you explain everything🖤 great video!👍🏻 I just got hired, waiting on my orientation date. Now I know what to expect! Thank you so much for the awesome video!
She seems to present an unbiased view or her work at Amazon. Much more credible than most videos about how horrible Amazon is. Would like to hear more about working conditions as the excessive travel around the facility appears to be bogus based on the product coming to the pickers rather than the pickers having to go to the part.
I started as a seasonal employee and got hired into "Amazon" after peak (Christmas season)... I work at a Fullfillment Center that is 1.5million square feet and has miles of conveyors. I was packing at a rate of 70+ packages an hour, Now I work in a semi automated section and pack at a rate over 300 an hour... if all goes well, I pack over 3500 packages a shift. we trade jobs every other quarter... only two people run this section, four if we run both lanes.
300 an hour? the boxes must be made for you and items already in the box. I work at Walmart and do the same thing. I'm pretty damn good at my job but I only hit 140+ boxes on a good day. I've gotten make the box, pack the items, and ship it. 300 an hour seems amazing.
damn you did a great job with this video...I start soon and you actually put me at ease as apposed to other people I have gotten info from...i think they are just lazy though..i can tell you take pride in working a job. Great video!
ahhh this was alot of great infotmation! im gonna start working there pretty soon and honestly im a little nervous to see how everything is gonna be. thank you!
i will not work there anymore i did once but if you have any minor back or foot problems expect them to bother you big time with the hours as you never get long enugh to relax enugh to get them better as i worked packing singles and would basically stand in one spot for 12 hours a day 6 days a week and after a week and a day i had to helped to medical for assistence and i was sent home after haveing ice on my back for 5 hours. for me to return i had to have a doctor see me and say i could do it but the doctor refused to do thier paperwork and i ended up leaveing it permently....
oh yes, I hear ya. At the end of my shift my feet and legs would be throbbing and there was no time to relieve it. It took me almost the whole 3 months to get use to that before it didn't bother me as much. I felt it the worse when I packed in one place. When I stowed and got to move around it wasn't AS bad. I definitely recommend wearing comfortable sneakers or something.
How hard is picking? I start soon...and I'm scared shitless and Older. Somebody tell me if i can do this! I really need the Job, I moved to Arizona and i have lots of Bills. :(
Yogaaaaa. This is expected to be a physically demanding job. Train your body for it like you would with anything else. If the job is the only time you walk around, lift weights, get in your body.... well of course you’re gonna have issues. You can’t leave a sedentary life and work a physical job and expect to come out ok. I hope you manage your body pains. Look into yoga and a tens machine. They do wonders. If you have access to medical cannabis, I suggest a good topical balm. It works magic in seconds.
Wow! I’ve heard so many awful things about working at amazon... your experience sounds really, really great!! I know you said you don’t know about other amazon sites but this particular place that you were, sounded like they really appreciated you guys. I see this video was done a few years ago so I don’t know how things are today but overall, it sounds like an awesome place to work. Your descriptions were so clear and painted a vivid picture of your experiences. Thanks for sharing!!🙂
Thanks! I'm glad you found it helpful, I did really enjoy my time there. :) I've found that a lot of the bad reviews are by people who werent cut out for warehouse work to begin with.
Im trying to get in with Amazon. Initially I was a little hesitant about it having no actual interview process, but I'll see. I applied to a part-time one near where I live and a seasonal one in the neighboring city. I have the drive to work hard and making decent money, but I've kept myself in minimum wage. Amazon doesn't appear to pay a lot for these positions, but it would be enough for me especially if I could have something to supplement.
I worked from home with Amazon 2015 to 2016, it was fairly simple training and the pay was pretty descents, plus there were lots of cool prize for performance. I worked during peak season which is starting black friday, up to new years.
If NJ is not listed, they will not accept you, I just did a check and it has about 10 states specifically that they are currently looking to hire in, if you still want to give it a shot you can but most like will not consider you i you are not in one of the states listed.
OMG I just decided to watch this again, partly because it keeps showing up in the recommended section. You were such a company girl. You know what i miss? You vlogs from Shell. They were the best. I remember the one with the donut and always smile.
I was Working in Dunfermline Fife - Scotland last year as a Christmas temp associate during peak time. I worked in Customer Returns and the job was fairly easy to hit the targets they given, IIRC 32 small boxes, 24 medium and 12 large. Essentially you were standing a your own workstation ad a conveyor line seperated these zones and employees where to grab boxes of the line, Scan barcodes from the boxes (Return labels) and process them on a computer which will ask you questions such as which type of sealing method does the item have and what type of damage has been done to the box. It was basically a multiple choice question scenario where depending on which you chose would determine which kind of tote it would get put in. Although it sounds easy, Its easy to make errors in as sometimes some of the items you process, they get put into an Audit tote and you will have people who will come around to make sure you are in check. I also worked on decant for Customer Returns which is essentially using those flimsy plastic safety knifes to open boxes for the associates and place them onto the conveyor (Just makes that job a little more easier). I would say personally, Its not amazon that gave me the grief when working there as the team leads were always helpful, friendly and polite, Offered me more training when I needed or asked for it and offered to be placed within several departments in the FC such as Warehouse Deals. The agency I worked under however was a complete nightmare. They would half a point you for being off on the sick, half point for clocking in literally 1 min late (with no regards to their clock in and out system when it started lagging behind, Which it did very often. I would happily work as a FC associate under amazon directly but as a temp associate under an agency, Id rather not. Now I currently work in the stow department at Amazon in Gourock - Scotland. Although Id like to write away with the experiences and stuff, I feel as if I have written enough already lol
That sounds exactly right Brian! Im not familiar with customer returns but the way you described it sounds spot on from what I have seen. And I agree that sometimes the temp agency is the problem, not Amazon. How is Stow working out for you?
The largest factories seem fairly empty when it comes to staff numbers judging by the videos on here, although I suppose that is due to much of the work being automated. The photos below are highly likely staged just to put a point across when it comes to hours and break times, although I suppose it all comes down to management and overall strictness.. I think there was a similar article before with Aldi or Lidl overworking staff too www.thesun.co.uk/news/5004230/amazon-warehouse-working-conditions/
Hi very good informative video. I have just completed my first week at Amazon. I work in a fulfilment centre in the UK, it is a brand new robotics warehouse. I was selected to work in outbound, or the docks, and it is a great area to work. You have the freedom to get about the warehouse. But it’s tough on your feet. We pack the parcels into pallets and get them to the trucks waiting to ship them out. The leadership team is a really good bunch of helpful people, the trainers are great too. All they want at the end of the day is for you to do your job. I’m pushing for progression, and learning all the jobs I can in the warehouse. I haven’t had any experience in picking and packing as of yet, but my manager has said I definitely won’t be doing that. On outbound we have a team target to achieve, and no personal ones. Overall I think I could be working for Amazon for some time. Well if I get through peak!
I'm surprised at all the bad comments about Amazon, Over three thousand signed up for a job in Jacksonville two months ago. We are all excited to work...There is no work out here, so to have a job is a blessing. I'm waiting for my new employee orientation that will be in a week or two. I for one am happy to be able to have an honest paying job.
yeah, tape machines - no tape guns @ all - they have shrink wrap though. I work in an automated Fulfillment Center & the pick/pack rates are seemingly negligible - until you do it for 9+ hrs. daily, week after week for all year long because they always expect high numbers from you whether you're having a good or bad day irregardless.
You pick (or pack) constantly - all day, every day that you work there. You're allowed to put in for a different assignment though - night shift makes more $ too.
I like jobs where it's just me and i'm in my own bubble. No micromanaging from pesky co workers, no lazy tards telling me to do there job. If it's no listening to music in that place then no for me
I've worked at alot of places, but Amazon still ranks as the worst. I was a floor picker, and the rates were just insane. No matter how fast you go, it's never fast enough. Everything counts against you, and there are no breaks except for your lunch. Workers are broken, and taught to give up. I went in thinking I could work hard, and have pride in my job, but unless you work breaks, and have zero malfunctions with the equipment, it's just not possible. seen more people get terminated over rate than anything else. If the equipment jams and requires facilities, then you're screwed and will be written up. Seen alot of people with great rates, but just had bad luck with the machines breaking down and were canned. Glad I don't work there anymore, must have been nice to be a packer, most of us were written up when we tried getting out.
Unless human factors were causing the machines to jam or stall or break down it seems illogical to blame and get rid of a worker for not being able to keep up the pace. Surely the management should have been looking for trends in machine performance across multiple operators and shifts to rule out a human cause for a slow down. If , say, you were the only slow one on a machine and the other operators were hitting their rates then you may have a question to answer but if all workers are being slowed down by the same machine, the maintenance team have a question to answer, Also you need to be aware of tricks played by operators working rival shifts to slow down faster shifts and get ahead by sabotage and cheating. The maintenance guys might have favourites on a particular shift that they work well for and do shoddy work for the other shifts....You need to have enough knowledge of your machine, and procedures and the politics of a particular work centre to be able to keep ahead. Also beware of how some shifts may skimp on housekeeping chores to maximise rates and leave the unmeasured work to the other shifts, thereby slowing them down......
Very informative, but I'm absolutely terrified yet somewhat excited to start working at amazon. I'll be working overnight(not like I have a choice because college xD) and my mom is going to be extra worried if I'm not able to carry a taser with me back to my car haha. This may be a dumb question, but are you allowed to just sit at your station during breaks? I'd rather do that than rush to the break rooms and be late punching in afterwards
You only punch out for lunch which is a half hour, and the supervisors take a break at the same time as everyone else so they'd probably so no. They wouldn't want someone unattended in the warehouse area. But you don't punch out for the 15min breaks, so maybe on the short breaks they'd allow it. You'd have to ask. Don't be terrified! Its easy I promise, you'll be fine :)
hey did you have your orientation schedule at night or morning? I'm waiting on my mines since I was hired for overnights. I'm not sure if Amazon sets it at that time and pay you or you pick.
Oh ok I figured that and kinda worried it'll be on a day I'm super busy. I just moved to out west and the moving truck might show up same day the orientation. If that does happens hopefully my in laws are in town to cover me. I just don't have a clue what time it'll be since I'll be working overnight at a new facilty in Irvine. Darrel
I started working at Amazon last year during peek. It was awful haha. I was in pick, working graveyard shift. If you are not used to walking 12-15 miles a day, every single shift, haha then you better get used to it. You only walk 15 miles during peek. During regular time it is more like 10-12 miles. We started with 4 days for the first week, then we went to the 5 days on 2 days off to 6 days on 1 day off weeks. They alternated. As far as points go, you only get 6 points when you are a white badge, before they will fire you during peek. If you have a Dr's note you have up to 6 consecutive days to be off. Write ups last 30-90 days. 3 write ups within 90 days and you're fired. As far as making rate goes, as a picker, it is not always as easy as you stated. If I can pick at least 250 items each quarter and do so with no mess ups, meaning picking before the blue time runs out or scanning the correct item the first time around, no rejections or damaged items then yes, rate will be made. If I have a "Hot pick pack" then I am going to be chasing around, up and down all around. Haha it is not fun to have hot pick as a pack. Having a trans pack is sometimes really good, and ppafe pack can also be beneficial. Trans pack you can get numbers from 10 items picked to 72 items picked. That is a really good pick pack to have. I went one shift where I picked 400 items each quarter, because I had a really good pick pack. I have also had time where I have had single large or single small pick packs and it takes a lot longer to get those numbers up. I don't suck at my job, sometimes it is just the pick pack that enables you to make rate some quarters. As far as blue badges being rude, some who have been promoted to problem solve I have had issues with, not everyone tho. I was eventually converted to blue badge after peek. If you are good at your job and can make rate and are in good standing then there is a good chance that you can be converted. Most people want to be converted into a blue badge. It does have it's perks. Vacation time, VTO-voluntary time off(not paid), VET-voluntary extra time(paid), PTO-personal time off(paid),etc. You also get $300-$400 worth of stock, with interest that goes up every year. They offer decent health care plans, if you don't have health care insurance already, and they also will pay for like 95% of your school after you have worked there for a year. You are so right about the microwaves in the break rooms. During peek it is so hard sometimes. Haha we were just talking about it the other day, how you might as well bring sandwiches or something you can eat cold. Anyway, enough of my short novel. Great informative video!
Great job! Your presentation hitting all the highlights helped me to have less butterflies in my stomach because I start with Amazon in two days. If I ever get into a position to hire someone I would hire you pronto. You are a winner young lady. Best of luck in your career path.
The H.R. lady, asked me why I was in the young adult program, she already knew and wanted to see what I said.Told her I got into a disagreement with a kid.She said "you mean fight?" Assuming, It was my fault. Knowing I didnt have the job. I explained the situation. A kid from another school crimminaly tress passed and assualted and battered me, then came back the next day did it a second time with his buddies, and I'm trying to explain this 35yrs later and he is the one that broke the law. All she needed was a spot light and the H.R. Dept.= Hitlers Revenge Dept.
haha true..just walk to and from car. that is sad truth. i see foreigners walking places all the time. I never have or never do. i cant imagine walking somewhere. i have had a car always and pay dearly for it. insur and gas and maintenance and repairs and price to buy it. life wld be much cheaper without it...but i wld die trying to walk miles to and from work... like ten miles each way. then walking all over work whole shift. now i know this job will kill me! coffee will make people have to pee..so how do people keep up the pace without caffeine? B Vitamins might do the trick!
Katfishkelly M caffeine is actually a dehydrator. Water makes you pee, but you have to drink it to stay hydrated. You get a few breaks to relieve yourself and as long as you don’t get 30+ minutes of time off task within a shift, you should be fine with taking a restroom break here in there while not on break. You just have to make sure your rate is good to begin with. I normally reach 150-200 percent to goal consistently with every position I do. It isn’t that difficult to manage, especially if you stay well hydrated. The problem comes when you get lost in the work that you don’t make time to hydrate. When you start to dehydrate(you’ll be able to tell when your urine is dark yellow as they have charts posted in the restroom to reference) you are more likely to get fatigued. Instead of pushing through you will start to drag along. You’ll start to get brain fog, so you’ll keep scanning/grabbing the wrong items and you’ll be slowed down. So I’d gladly take the time to keep drinking lots of water and taking pee breaks if I know my performance will improve!
I think it's cute how you took pictures of that Sundae and the dinner. It shows that it was good incentive and I wish my Amazon warehouse did that. They only put out expired produce.
It's easy, but you are timed every minute. And it becomes stressful and painful after 7 hours of endless packing. Everybody starts to slow down. And you still got 3 hours to go. Total of 10 hours, is brutal. Better get packing with those boxes and ship em into the conveyor belt. Oh, you gotta talk with your random coworkers, especially while working on the floor. It'll get lonely and depressing if you don't small talk and introduce yourself. But one thing is true. You'll never truly become close buddies with anyone while working at amazon, especially during the coronavirus. And they have everyone working randomly and different areas everyday, you'll never work with the same people everyday.
Shera, know you have heard it many times but this is an awesome overview. I'm a seasoned veteran of many working scenarios and I wish I would have known you when a company needed an authentic, honest breakdown of the work and all the steps along the way. Keep communicating as professionally as you did here. All the best to you.
Wow, thank you, I appreciate that! I put a lot of planning into what I was going to talk about. I remembered more I wanted to say after I recorded it but it is long enough as is haha. Thanks for checking it out :)
Shera that sounds normal when preparing (and 20 minutes plus is a LOT of preparing!) then once you get into it then watch it there's much more in mind to have communicated. Keep it going. Best.
Thanks for sharing this video, it cleared up a lot of questions I had. I'm supposed to start working at Amazon later this month and was just wondering though, wouldn't everyone get a locker? I understand leaving your phone in your car, but what about keys, you can't really leave those behind.
Anyone who wants a locker can request one. Most people just leave their keys in their coat hanging up, or they can bring those in with them and they just have to spend time going through the metal detectors.
loveeee the video!! a new Amazon warehousr is being built near where i live, i love ordering stuf from Amazon i thought why not work there, from your description it seems pretty decent, and tolerable... anyway thanks for being very descriptive!!
They called back the next day, I think this job is for people with anxiety and PTSD like myself,
I would rather slave in a warehouse than work with people and socialize
Yeah it's great if you like to work by yourself. There's alot of other people there but you don't really interact much. I would rather work in a warehouse than somewhere you have to deal with customers.
How do you like it so far? I will be starting at the new facility in Shelby township Michigan
Omg yes i can relate
nessie lewis why would you want to “slave” yourself at any job????
Can you work in small groups or pairs? Working alone all day would drive me crazy but I don’t wanna deal with customers
If you work for amazon, I want to personally thank you for all your hard work. I sell on Amazon and without you all, I wouldn't be able to do what I do.
me too lol
No problem :)
well you are paying them to work. You pay fees, it is not free lol.
KWT so.... you cant say thank you for a job well done because you pay them? id hate to have you in any form of management!
+C Ski you make no sense just because you pay someone for a job doesn't mean they're doing a good job
First rule of Amazon is to not talk about Amazon.
What is the second rule?
LisaMarie Rhodes that is kind of what I understand also. Wait I work there
+backwoodsbully the second rule is to think about the rule one :)
Absolutely do not talk about Amazon...get it?
backwoodsbully: #2
work your ass off or

Wow! When I first clicked on your video I thought it was going to be a complaint video but, you really explained the environment to where others could really get a feel for it. Good Job!

Thank you :)
Amazon fulfillment center employment described here sounds like a good job for people under 25, suffering from arrested development, and possess a 'just passing through' mindset.
Your review was very straightforward and just the facts when working in production. This was very helpful in shared with my friend as well

I've been with Amazon for almost three years. First through SMX then I got converted. If I knew then what I know now I would have stayed at Target.
Do you get any pay raises through out the year?
+hardware20x you get a quarter every 6 months that Max's out at $14.75 for tier 1
what do you need to do to get to tier 2 or 3
Rocky Hamden make a resume when open postion or seasonal positions are open and send your resume and schedule a interview .. then best of luck to you
nnnnnnnp Target? you mean that place where I was targeted to get fired for leaving keys in the bailer? I loved being a backroom picker but walmart was better hands down.

why dont they split up the breaks? why do everyone has to break and lunch at the same time? way too congesting.
It sure is. Not sure why.
i will not work there anymore i did once but if you have any minor back or foot problems expect them to bother you big time with the hours as you never get long enugh to relax enugh to get them better as i worked packing singles and would basically stand in one spot for 12 hours a day 6 days a week and after a week and a day i had to helped to medical for assistence and i was sent home after haveing ice on my back for 5 hours.

WOW ! ! What an organized and complete explanation, and well presented.
Thanks for a great video.
Haha thanks Tom! I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
Great video!!!!
I start on Monday .....this video was very helpful!
Awesome!!
Thank-you for this, I take my drug test on Tuesday in Springfield VA. Can't wait to start. You were really helpful. 💕💕💕

You have such an endearing personality 😊
Thank you Melissa :)
O man this was a video excellently executed! Thank you for this video 👍
Thank You, I'm glad you found it helpful :D
Shera DiVito yeah, definitely seems so
Im trying to get in with Amazon.

I am retired, but evil demons are in all fields. Smile and make your money, for they hate that.🙂❤️💯🇺🇸🌹📚🌈😇

Hello that was so helpful. I will be starting to do this job and your video really gave a whole overview of the job. THANK YOU so much 😊😘
You're welcome! Let me know how it goes :)
I'm starting at Amazon in a few weeks !!! Thanks for the info 👍🏾
Awesome!
Are you nervous?
Nate Morey good place to work long hours but great work colleagues

Very thorough. Impressive.
Thanks :D
Thanks Shera for your thorough presentation. It was very interesting, informative and helpful!
You're welcome! :)
Extremely informative. I love your attitude!
Thank you :)
I worked from home with Amazon 2015 to 2016, it was fairly simple training and the pay was pretty descents, plus there were lots of cool prize for performance. I worked during peak season which is starting black friday, up to new years.
Yes, they are a very nice company to work for with perks
trying to get a job with amazon work from home. is the training easy.
Yes, it is fairly easy
Thank you they don't say new jersey. But someone said do it anyway, is that true.
If NJ is not listed, they will not accept you, I just did a check and it has about 10 states specifically that they are currently looking to hire in, if you still want to give it a shot you can but most like will not consider you i you are not in one of the states listed.
I’m working for Amazon at this new warehouse in Tswassen and it’s great. We even have some seniors working for us.
sort centers are full of seniors. id say 25%
OMG I just decided to watch this again, partly because it keeps showing up in the recommended section. You were such a company girl. You know what i miss? You vlogs from Shell. They were the best. I remember the one with the donut and always smile.
Haha that's awesome that it comes up in recommended! I wish I could make a video like that about UPS but no. I had fun at shell :)
It's so easy working there. I don't know why people dislike it so much. EASY MONEY.
I agree
friendly Jew ummm okay.....?
Maybe because it's soul crushing monotony.
Beautiful, well spoken and awsome video.
Thank you :)
is it as bad as people say it is?
No, some people just aren't cut out for that type of work.
how long were u there?
3 months, I was seasonal
That is awesome! :D
Thanks for making this video. It was very helpful. I consider it gold.
That's awesome! You're very welcome 🙂
That's great, good for you!! :)
Hi are you still working at Amazon? How do you like rate it
Good luck , all the best to you.
I just got an appointment at my Amazon location! And the position I applied for was Fullfilment Associate for full time.
Nice! Let me know how it goes!
I am so glad I am a nurse practitioner! I have watched other videos where people talked about the horrendous conditions. I enjoyed your video!
Thanks :) I don't think I could do what you do, so more power to you!
this was helpful and seems thorough. thanks! I start orientation tomorrow.
Nice! Good luck!
pros=ok pay, good benefits, paid time off , vacation , 4day shifts
cons= can't make more than 13.75 in texas !
yeah, tape machines - no tape guns @ all - they have shrink wrap though. I work in an automated Fulfillment Center & the pick/pack rates are seemingly negligible - until you do it for 9+ hrs. daily, week after week for all year long because they always expect high numbers from you whether you're having a good or bad day irregardless.
When you're a picker or packer do you only do that task for the whole shift or do you switch back and forth?
You pick (or pack) constantly - all day, every day that you work there. You're allowed to put in for a different assignment though - night shift makes more $ too.
Being a picker is the worst job in Amazon.
Try NOT to go in as a temp -
they're considered throwaways
I'm a direct hire employee
Awesome Amazonian..I like your honesty when you talk about your experience....Nice meeting you. Shera..Have a nice day at Amazon..Cheers.
no problem, thanks for checking it out :)
My pleasure Shera, by the way your site is showing that it has a malware, my anti virus protection software show me this.Cheers.
Thank you!! I start orientation FRIDAY and your video helped my nerves.
That's great! Let me know how it goes :)
I like jobs where it's just me and i'm in my own bubble. No micromanaging from pesky co workers, no lazy tards telling me to do there job. If it's no listening to music in that place then no for me
Did you get x1.5 pay for doing that mandatory overtime on Thursdays?
Yes
You did a great job. Your video is by far the best and most honest.
Thanks, I appreciate that! I tried to answer the questions I had when I first started working there. Thanks for checking it out :)
waiting to hear back after the group intake. sounds like it has some good points , looking forward to it.
You got this!
I've been working Warehouse since the 1980s they're all the same I like to call it the warehouse Shuffle
where is amazon wearhouse in corona please
Suff I've been there five years.. It's always been two 15 minute breaks and a half hour lunch. I simply don't believe you.
It’s like u turn into a walking zombie lol I think I got ptsd from working at amazon
smokesum ... yeah, it's not for the lazy, whiny type...
@@tebow7727 totally possible.
Your awesome ! Thank you for making this video
Thank you so so much for your video. I know what to look forward to if I even last.
I'm sure you will do great :)
Mine was during the day, they set it.
Darrel
Wow, a lot of big changes for you goin on, that's awesome! Hopefully you can make the orientation, fingers crossed!
You have a great understanding of the job as well! Thanks for sharing this info! :)
how long did it take you to write all that?
Orientation day and first shift is tomorrow, thanks for the video this was a great way to prepare myself mentally for what's to come!
Awesome! Let me know how it goes!
this was very helpful! i start tommorow !! and im so nervous thanks for this
Don't be nervous, you'll do great!
I'm interested in being a picker, do you have the option of choosing a specific job when you start at amazon?
When I was there, no. They just started you in one job and if you were terrible they'd move you to try something else.
In other words don't work at amazon.
Great job! Your presentation hitting all the highlights helped me to have less butterflies in my stomach because I start with Amazon in two days. If I ever get into a position to hire someone I would hire you pronto. You are a winner young lady. Best of luck in your career path.
Wow thanks! Glad it helped. Let me know how it goes for you :)
WOW YOU DID A VERY GOOD PRESENTATION I THINK YOU ARE GOING TO BE GOOD AT ANYTHING YOU DECIDE TO DO THANK YOU SHERA
Thank you :) I know it may be a bit too indepth but I just wanted to answer some of the questions I had when I was applying.
Thanks GOOD Video !!
No problem, thanks for checking it out! :)
The H.R. lady, asked me why I was in the young adult program, she already knew and wanted to see what I said.Told her I got into a disagreement with a kid.She said "you mean fight?" Assuming, It was my fault.
Great video. Thanks for explaining
PS Love your hair!
aw thanks, glad you enjoyed it :)
A video with more information than b.s., I love it. Deserves the likes 👍
Glad you found it helpful, thanks for checking it out :)
Good video.
Thank you :)
Short breaks
will get fired if you dont keep your rate
good luck walking 25 miles a day lol average American who walks 200 feet a day
haha true..just walk to and from car. that is sad truth. i see foreigners walking places all the time.
Thanks for sharing all the imfmation about working at Amazon, you definitely explain everything in detail. Good for you !!!!#
Thank you I tried! :)
I think it's cute how you took pictures of that Sundae and the dinner. It shows that it was good incentive and I wish my Amazon warehouse did that. They only put out expired produce.
Expired produce? What in the world?!
Just applied 2 weeks ago, had my orientation today, looking forward too it I start on the 19th.
Awesome! Let me know how it goes :)
Awesome attitude
Best.
This was a great video. I dint know how anyone wouldn't like you. You seem super sweet and kind
Aw thank you I appreciate that :) Glad you enjoyed the video
Amazon sounds pretty abusive.
Nah its not bad, give it a go
And WalMart
the shoppers are abusive lol
SHE IS DEAD ON ABOUT ALL OF WHAT SHE SAID CAUSE I USE TO WORK THERE.
Very informative, Shera! I'm currently considering applying for Amazon, thanks for giving me a taste of the company!
no problem! thanks for checking it out :)
Most people just leave their keys in their coat hanging up, or they can bring those in with them and they just have to spend time going through the metal detectors.
so you worked in all departments in every tier...ppl complain about the whole amazon and never even went past tier 1..or did anything else
Amazon delivery station I worked at had the high school vibe. A lot of favoritism, politics, drama.
Great video explaining the seasonal amazon job. Thanks
Glad you found it helpful :)
loveeee the video!! a new Amazon warehousr is being built near where i live, i love ordering stuf from Amazon i thought why not work there, from your description it seems pretty decent, and tolerable... anyway thanks for being very descriptive!!
Cool! Definitely check it out when it gets built, it's interesting to see how a company like that operates.
