I’ve seen all three videos back to back, and most of the questions asked have been answered by them. Or they questions are so detailed that maybe someone in HR would better answer it, rather than the girls.
People chill out and watch the other videos.
    Okay bye

Did you ladies work during Peak? I started right before Peak last year and it was intense. 60 hour weeks (6 days a week, 10 hours a day) for 5 weeks. Lots of nice overtime pay though and a good chance for bonus pay since VCP is double during that time. Btw I work at an enormous non-sort FC and most of us ride around on order picker machines or other types of powered industrial trucks. I actually really like working there. It's physically tough work (especially on ship dock) but you get used to it.

Hyh Ddd hard work!! But a job that pays okay and great benefits. if you can make it through the pressure points while working. Take each day for the day, don't focus on the "damn I got two more days of work before I can rest with your days off". It's stressful sometimes, worried about if you're going to get written up that leads to being fired, based on three write-ups. But you only get write-ups with having a lot of errors in your work. But there are ways to work off those errors and there are ways to learn more so you won't make errors! But even the veterans that been there for a long time make errors! But keep trying. Stay a long as you can, if you really want the check and nothing is better coming your way!

    • @entertainmint2043

My site hasn't done any drug test beyond the hiring event that I know of, but there was a time Amcare requested a list of people to see them after shift and people pretty much concluded that they were doing a random drug test. Apparently depending on an work related injury they'll perform a drug test if they feel drugs could have influenced the injury (i.e. yeah he was totally stoned when those boxes collapsed on him in the truck. He must have been in another state of mind and tried hugging the bottom box of a trailer tall wall of boxes.) Yes apparently one of my co-workers said he was injured in inbound and they warned him that they were going to drug test him if he reports it. IDK if the story was true or not, because I've caught the same co-worker in multiple lies. They have cleared lockers once, but I think it was because there's a policy that we cannot keep our stuff in the lockers or even just our locks on the lockers beyond our shift. They never actually enforce it, but I guess they had one or two butt-hurt employees that could never get one of the bigger lockers. I knew that problem was going to happen right away though. Who creates hundreds of lockers in various sizes and tells people that they're renting a lock and not the locker? Of course people are going to keep their locks on the lockers to guarantee that they always have the bigger lockers.
I wouldn't be surprised if my site got swept for drugs though. I'm convinced that there's a drug operation going on throughout Amazon warehouses. There are just those few random scanners, TDR, inbound, Logistics and even PAs assigned to specfic parts of the building that will wonder around the trucks, problem solve area, and near the bathrooms. It started to look even more suspect when they had to contract trucker drivers coming in and doing the same thing. Like I know it could be nothing, but you have to admit seeing the same people making trips to the one place that doesn't have cameras(the restrooms) and talking before going in and when coming out does start to look suspicious. ESPECIALLY when the trips are frequent just in one shift. Then there are the managers and PAs that will walk in groggy, but after a few minutes of disappearing after we've gone through a few trucks they're extremely hype and look a little crazy in the eyes. Then there was one time one of my co-workers was talking about how they saw people in inbound taking mysterious black bags from trucks to problem solve. Now problem solve removing damaged packages is one thing, but the way they described it seemed real suspect. And it also corroborated with what I've seen with people constantly looming in areas they aren't even assigned and the restroom trips. I wouldn't be surprised. Pay people poorly, given them access to a huge logistics process, and you make something like this possible. One minute you're working $10-$15/hr, to next your doing an lowkey drug business with your boss that's working with the truck contractors who are the higher up drug suppliers. You see the type of stories one can come up with while working at Amazon? geez. lol I can't even take myself serious sometimes. lol

TropicsHunter you got me laughing. You Could be right..! We were told not to use it up, if we do a quick boot out the door! I just completed my second week, and I claimed the VTO. Worry that's going to look bad on me, and they won't be graceful about over looking giving me a real writie up for errors during my first month of working. My whole new hire group got a verbal write up for errors and it was only our 5th day working there! Like damn, no real training period for a trial and error and get right while learning. But they explained to us, it's really not a write-up that counts towards being fired. So called, a documented verbal warning write up, a level down from a real write up that counts to the cold boot out the door. Or they lied to us so we wouldn't panic. One man already pulled I'm quitting, doctors order to physical for his health 😂 real shit omg moment when we heard about it

I mean if you're young, live with your parents, your cellphone is your only bill and has many years of your life to live and waste this job can be perfect for you! But if you have a family to raise, feed and nurture skip this company as other jobs will offer you a better deal!

Dang so they have people take their own ID before they've even attended the hiring event now? You better get you the best DSLR camera, because that picture is going to stick with you for LIFE. When I was hired they took the picture at the hiring event and I just remember they used the cheapest external webcam hooked up on their laptop and I just remember not knowing that I was going to get my picture taken for my ID and I had to go to work later so I was in my old jobs uniform. Plus they didn't ask me if the picture was okay. I saw someone else's ID and they were blinking in the picture. I just can't imagine how they thought it was okay to submit a picture into the system with the person's eyes closed. Now that person will have to work with that ID for as long as they work for Amazon. Apparently there is a way to get it changed, but I'm not sure if it's true. I just know all my managers have ugly corny looking IDs and I feel like they would have definitely changed theirs if they knew there was a way.

I don't know if you got hired. I started and just finished my first week. I was kind of nervous to wear leggings plus I wasn't sure if it was okay to wear them. so my first 3 days I didn't wear the Beloved leggings, I Wore extremely loose sweatpants. But after 3 days and seeing 80% of the women wearing leggings or yoga pants, I said f*** it, on my 4th day I wore leggings too. ............ I work in a California fulfillment center, yoga pants and leggings at my facility are everywhere. I was Nervous about my panties going to show through or a sweaty butt issue, So it's going to be a trial and error situation wearing leggings for me, but I'll figure it out! But Now I'm 100% comfortable. .....Stretchy yoga pants and stretchy leggings is the best with all that fast pace moving and standing. I'm a stower.. pray for me I'll make it lol. My second week starts tomorrow. PS: I only wore leggings once, even though other women are wearing leggings and yoga pants I didn't want too, but once I saw lots of women with the fanny pack type of belly and they had their leggings pulled up over their fanny pack type stomach, then I said fuck it.. I'm wearing leggings too. No shame those ladies had! especially the work is taxing on your body, you definitely need to be comfortable. Plus to make rate no man going to be staring at you for too long, they numbers would go down. Amazon count every second of your work activity
