Working night shift almost 10 years. Love it ❤ I’m in AMXL and our oldest man is probably over 70
How to apply this job for night shift
Is part time right???
10 years, oh my goodness.
I don’t mind the job, but my feet have always been my number one reason for wanting to leave.
I’ve tried custom Dr Scholl’s, three-four pairs of shoes. Which I’m certain the safety shoes are what’s causing the problem, because when I could wear normal shoes in the past, I was perfectly fine. Taking extra shifts for double pay and everything.
@@stevenargueta392 no, I’m full-time. Sun-Wednesday. 10hrs shift. Yes, feet hurt some nights, but I got used and I’m still young (45,lol)
@@gurinderchahal8628 as I know, Amazon hires through 3rd party. And all shifts are available the most of the time. Keep looking 👍
Working at a delivery station was among one of the easiest jobs I had, but the stowing was killer, especially when you had to pick up after the people who weren't keeping up the pace. Other than that, I loved how predictable and flexible it can be with so much VTO in case you ever wanted to call off for a day... or even a whole week.
How did you know what boxes to grab off the conveyor belt to put into the bags ?
The trick is you don’t have to pick up after anyone
People complain a lot about Amazon but honestly one of the easiest jobs Ive ever had.
@@SimplyLena123 on the package there’s a label letters. You see those racks behind the workers? Those racks have a letter assigned to them. You grab the package with the same letter as the one on the rack. Boom, easy job
@@arroncisco9176it depends on your location. All amazons are different, that’s where the complaints come from. It would be great if they all were the same but nope
I just started and so far I like it. I don't have to deal with customers and idiot managers watching over my shoulder. There are a lot of weirdos that I work with since Amazon hires anyone for the warehouse. I'm just nice to everyone and try to keep to myself. You don't know who youre working with...
Weirdos???? Nevermind, your name suggests youre one of those perpetual victims who look down on others for being "different."
hey man, do u working on amazon warehouse ?

I drive for Amazon. We couldn’t do it with out yah. You guys are wild! And those hours??? SHEEEEESH!
Aww, thank you. Back at you for getting those packages to customers swiftly.
Hey man, how can i start driving for amazon??
@@NickRfitnessfirst things first you wanna get a gun and brandish it at a bank.
All these fucking bots in the replies trying to make Amazon seem like a decent place to work 😂
Bro I just started 10 days ago, and I’m 20 hours negative UPT because last week I tried to attempt and was unconscious at home for 52 hours straight. The micromanagement is intense, and for 10 minutes tot, like okay Val, I’ll piss on the floor then. I won’t stay hydrated. They want to make you think they care about quality over quantity but it’s a fucking lie. If it wasn’t for the fact my rents 1300 a month, I’d work at a job that actually gives a shit about me and pays less.
@@LaurelsJourneyhello I m at Walmart at stocking now and i would come amazon but i don't who is easier to job
@@LaurelsJourneyso how much is your check
I was a truck driver for almost a year and I can tell you that working on Amazon is no picnic nor does management really care about you but you don't know that some jobs like trucking are really miserable even if you might make much more money. A job at Amazon can give you showers and allowyou to see your loved ones every day if you get the right shift or work towards it. You have to really hit bottom in life to then realize that places like Amazon are not that bad and are temporary positions unless you have a degree and plan on moving up into management or horizontally across the organization if you develop certain skills. When you're a truck driver whether otr or local you got no time except to work and sleep. 14 to 16 hour days easy and you never see your family. Put things in perspective.
@@DLOWSKITPG 400-630 a week but it depends. Only a 75¢ differential for overtime

As applied for warehouse Amazon Burnaby, bc how many hours I will get every day …. They told me 30-35 hours is it will be flexible??
Breaks need to be 1 hour long
I didn't last long 3 months. I felt like I was losing my mind just staring at labels for 6+ hours 5 days a week with a 20-30 mins break in-between.

I would rather work nights.
As an Amazon worker, how these people record inside the warehouse is beyond me. And keep their jobs at that… that’s the biggest rule there. Is not having a phone out on the floor.
Amazon doesn't give an f. I use it all the time even sometimes on the managers face.
no one cares dude, got bigger problems to worry about.....
Must be a small site. Our DS is hell. The packages come down the belt fast like everyday is peak season and the robot machines that we have now, really never stops.
It wasn't fun at all, but I moved up quickly (only a year in) with my work ethic and now L3 Driver Trainer in the OTR department. Glad I don't have to do overnight again, if I did, I would go back to driving ASAP...
Love stowing. Hate most pickers since they don't organize the boxes correctly. Ugh. It takes time from stowing.

Man, you guys got it easy, you need to come to DVA2, they NEVER finish sort or pick and stage, so many packages, OVs and XLs. We have bags piled up like castle blocks in the overflow. Please do tell, where is this station?
Nice bag etiquette.
❤inducting was my deal. Pick to buffer sometimes. Seasonal just finished last week 🎉

Great workers highly underrated & under paid
Nice stowing. Everything looks neat. I can’t stand it when “helpers” just toss boxes in and then I have to take up time to reorganize.
I can relate lol
Yes. Boxes on bags, in front when there's space in the back..ugh. Time consuming

I am full time worker. But I face lot of difficulties without job.
That many workers on one side?? ? Im used to seeing JUST THREE to cover up to 30 on each side. Like you get 7- 8 racks . You guys have it easy,
It depends on how many packages there are, there are some stations that do not receive many. Where I work there is a crazy amount of packages, it would not be possible to have 7 racks.
It seems like night shift is better than working during the day cuz you don't have a lot of people and packages
brother i live in london but i can’t find any amazon warehouse
I have a question so I’m bearly gonna start and I’m confused like what are you doing once you enter the Amazon building is there gonna be like someone waiting for you or like that specific group to take you to the room and watch videos or like just stand there?
In my warehouse, we have a stand-up. Going over safety, the volume of packages and any other necessary information we need. Then we will do routine stretches. After that, we'll look on the board for our picture and what we'll be doing for that night.
So wats the difference between pick to buffer & induct ???
Keep it simple. Pick a job you can see yourself doing from looking at job activities, learn the skills needed for the job, and if you can learn this without needing to go to university then do this as you can learn everything online. But some require uni like med school.
Pick something high in demand in your area of residence, learn the skills, choose 2 jobs related to skills be great at these specific jobs. Rather then 10 jobs you can be ok and make it harder for you to get a job because you're not being in depth.
