Thanks a ton. I thought I broke something inside the handle where it was just a matter of tightening a screw. I was unable to figure out how to get the handle out for a replacement. Your video helped me open the handle and identify the root cause of the problem.

Excellent info! thank you! one quick note: There is a Philips bit end provided for the adjustment. Last but not least...Turn the channel locks around, you are using them the wrong way. Dont worry we all do it!

Thanks for posting this. I have a similar handle and I had no clue how to take it off. After watching this video, I removed it in seconds and was then able to fix the problem!

Turning that piece sticking out turns the water on. You have to take that screw out and that piece out then pop the little black piece at the back off and rotate it counter clockwise for hotter. It has teeth so has to be pulled out and turned and put back in.

Thank you good sir! For years just kept turning the dang handle to adjust and never knew to take it off to reset it. Now the whole thing doesn't turn when I try to turn on to hot or to turn off.😂

Also to change the temps higher, you need to take off the extender and screw, pop the little round tab that says to move to lower and go the opposite way, move the dial to the left so the handle goes further up. Hot water from hell and put everything back together. The handle won't align straight now that the dial has moved. Wife wanted hotter water.

Mine is a bit different also with no set screw. When I turn it to the left I hear a pop, like plastic popping, now I really have no clue. round handle almost looks like two pieces I just dont want to break it

  • @786otto

A lot of companies are doing away with the set screw now because hard water would corrode it so bad there’s no way to get the set screw out haha
