  • The plastic part 970-0770 inside the handle of the Pfister Selia Single Control Tub & Shower (8P8-WS SLSK) broke off, causing the handle to continuously rotate and unable to turn the water off or on. You can buy the replacement part from Pfister (I got it on Amazon), and it's a metal part instead of the original plastic. Takes two minutes to fix and should last a long time.

    What if the inside of the handle broke the plastic piece, wouldn't you have to replace the handle? Because it's all one piece inside the handle.

      Sorry, I’m not sure I understand your question. The plastic piece replaced was the only plastic piece I remember. If you’re handle is broken then yes, replacing this plastic piece is not enough. You may have to replace the whole handle.

      This is my current problem too. the white plastic piece needs to be replaced too. What is that piece called?
