Lol. Southwest always has the funniest crew. Me and my cousin were going to Hartford and the flight attendant said, "be sure to buckle your seat belts in case of any emergency. Of course if that happened we wouldn't have come to work today." I was dying but my cousin didn't get it 😂

Wonderful video. Some observations: I've taken off to Austin or San Antonio many times on SW. I love how you're already at 10,000 feet as you go over downtown Houston. The rate of climb is pretty steep. Liked that view of Austin. I spotted Austin's airport, downtown, and the F1 racetrack next to the airport.

I flew on one of these new 737-8 on 1/9/18. The plane seats 175 and we had 21 onboard from BWI to TPA. There was definitely more leg room. Just like a new car, the plane had that "new plane smell" to it. I was able to step inside of the flight deck and the avionics are amazing. Everything is much more easily reachable by the pilots and the new seats are ergonomically built for comfort and less stress on the sacrum. The cabin's interior and lighting were also very impressive. I was hoping that Southwest would have had plugs for cell phones installed at the seats.

I was lucky enough to fly in on the MAX 8, which I documented, but once it went mechanical for Flight #2, I put my camera back in the bag and just sat back and enjoyed this ride. I then flew right back to LAX in First on Delta's 175, which was a nice change.

In the morning you get BelVita breakfast cookies and honey roasted peanuts. In the afternoon you can get a variety of things, including (But not limited to): Oreos, Fritos, and other Nabisco snacks. In the evening, you get Wheat thins and Honey roasted peanuts.

I got to fly on the max last year it was incredibly smooth you couldn’t even tell you were taking off I couldn’t even feel turbulence it was definitely nice Southwest Airlines hasn’t had any problems with any of their aircraft that stuff they hate on boing for isint really ther fault it boils down to how the airlines maintain their planes the problem that Alaska airlines had with the door wasn’t actually Boeings fault Alaska airlines knew the door was missing a few bolts they even admitted that but they still flew it airlines have to inspect every new aircraft they get so if it’s got bugs to work out they can send it back to the manufacturer to fix all the problems then only after the aircraft passes the inspection is when they are supposed to fly it so it has nothing to do with Boeing being a terrible manufacturer it’s airlines having poor maintenance Southwest Airlines takes great care of their aircraft that’s why they never have problems

A couple weeks ago I did have the chance to fly on a -700 and I enjoyed the new seating even though I am far from a lover of Southwest. What was nice though for some reason from LAX to SAC I got onto a Southwest that he NEW leather seats Which I did not know that they used but the 90 minuet flight was wonderful with the smell of fresh leather. The only thing I could think of was they plane might not have started as a Southwest but because of all the grounding of the -800 they borrowed this plane and just changed the livery. There was nothing inside to indicate it was Southwest even the seat/emergency card were plain with no logos
