Welcome to iTripReport's flight reviews, which I focus on reviewing both the soft product and hard product of airlines around the globe. I strive to give you guys a first person perspective of different aspects of the flight. Including the ground service, onboard service, and those views that come with the flight. As you can see, I record quite a lot of the experience to make sure I record what you want to watch. As always, thank you so much for watching.

Personally I think the 737 always been a beautiful airplane, I mean it’s smooth lines, the somewhat pointy nose, the CFM International LEAP engines which by the way sound amazing when they’re spooling up! It just makes this airplane nothing but beautiful and it really has been a true workhorse in the aviation industry since it first came out back in 1967.

Well, hopefully, we will arrive safely. But, as I've said, we need to question the manufacturers and, more so, our safety regulators, as this aircraft wasn't safe for release.
As you may see elsewhere, I do have some expertise in aircraft and software safety (but I may be an Internet Troll for all you know). I'd just say we should be careful to await International expert questions on the B737 MAX before climbing on board.
It is PROBABLY now safe. But that's what Boeing and the FAA said before it killed many people and destroyed their families.
Boeing is (USUALLY) a highly respected company. I've flown around the globe many times on their aircraft; especially the fabulous 747 "Jumbo" game-changer aircraft. Wow, how good are the 747 and the regional 737s.
But, sometimes, things do go wrong. We (safety-critical designers, like myself) usually do something called "regression testing". That's where a proven design, like the 737, has had what's considered a minor upgrade.
But, oh hum, "minor upgrades" sometimes aren't what we think. That's why so-called clever people like me are required to do regression testing. Boeing didn't do that.
Many innocent people lost their lives through Negligence, followed by Corporate denial of liability. Boeing did a design change on their fabulous 737 aircraft. I could have told them it was unsafe, but they assumed it was safe. So people died and families were devastated.
These same people are now saying that the B737 MAX is safe. We've already heard that story from these selfsame people. Do YOU believe them? Are YOU qualified to question them?
To be honest, this time I probably do believe Boeing and the FAA.
All I'm saying is you're a brave person if you srep on-board a Boeing 737 MAX until the world's other aviation safety organisations give it safety release.
Go Boeing, you have enriched my life, albeit you lost my faith with the safety tests on the MAX.
      Rick
I am considered to be an internationally fantastic expert in my field(s), but I'll readily admit, I can get things wrong.
The problem with Boeing and the FAA, and America in general, is that they don't like to admit when they make mistakes. --- To err is human, as we say. No one would blame Boeing nor the FAA if they admitted errors.

To answer your question: yes I would feel comfortable flying on a max. It is in my opinion the prettiest airplane in the skies right now, before it’s grounding I described it as a “mini-Dreamliner” primarily because of its massive engines. And considering that Boeing spent 2 years mending the issues and pilots have nothing but good things to say about it... yes I’d get on one.

Why do the airlines seem to do the preflight welcome announcement before most of the passengers have boarded? PS - Love the napkins and pretty day to fly.

Not trying to defend Boeing, but do you think the media underreported how pilot error was also a major factor in those 2 Max crashes? If this plane was so flawed as the media said why wasn’t there many more crashes before the Indonesian crash? The Max had hundreds of thousands flight hours before the first crash.

I absolutely LOVE the SWA seats on their newer cabins. I would much rather fly economy with SWA than any other US Domestic airline. I think the personal electronic device holder on the seatbacks of each seat on some of the AA seats is an ingenious way to let people mount their phones, etc for viewing content from their respective inflight entertainment apps, but .. the seats and general interior of the new SWA product is great. I also enjoy the traditional recline instead of the tricky pivoting seats.

Is AS the only MAX with life vests in the overhead? I don't recall seeing it on the AA Max-8 or the WN. The Southwest seats look comfy, but def points off for no USB. WN, B6 and AS all have amazing cabin crews. Another good video, Emilio!

Yea, lately this past August, I’ve flown in Southwest Airlines, to Minneapolis from New York, and it was a fantastic experience because they had open seats onboard, where I can sit anywhere I want to sit. You won’t get such experience in any other airline, to be honest.
