Its funny how he was mad earlier, when these guys didnt put Newcastle to their top 4. I have seen, that atleast over 90% of people who did their top 4. Didnt put Newcastle in there. Some put Tottenham in there and bit ridiculously Chelsea also, so I dont get it why he was so mad, when some put Newcastle fifth, that is only one position of fourth. Newcastle isent big team with famous football players. They just had good season in the last season and thats why they just got into the top four, but now, when Liverpool does better. It locks out Newcastle from top 4 and they get instead Europa League where they might do better with easier competition, than in Champions League.
If arsenal or united or city or Liverpool had 3 points after 4 games, he’d be the first lad to say they’re washed and out of the title race

@@Adam-de1gp on our day I truly think we could just make it out the group but it's highly unlikely the way we're playing, but even if we lose every game I'd still have taken champions league over europa this year, it's a dream to be playing teams like this again plus the extra money is good for FFP

Not really humbled? Far from it infact. Only bad result was throwing it away against Liverpool, likely a single team dont take 3 points from City at the Etihad this season, so a 1-0 loss is a decent result really, 75% will lose away to Brighton as well. We know we over achived last season, but as long as we put Brentford to the sword after the break, should be back on track.
The arrogance is startling. The sad reality is that they’ve been so terrible for decades that now they’ve had one good result because they overachieved they think they’re in the top 4 as a guarantee. They believe they’re the big boys now but sadly they’re going to scrapping against some murderous teams to even get top 6. They’re getting 8th place realistically

It’s all very well saying Newcastle have had some tough games to start with. These are the games Newcastle need to be winning if they want to challenge for the title. They need to be competing with teams like Liverpool and City, as well as United and Arsenal, less so Chelsea now, but obviously Brighton are coming into the fore. They did well against Villa, I’ll give them that, but they haven’t really got going to be honest

You miss some context. All 3 Burnley games so far were at Turf Moor and they got battered in every one of them. I know they’re newly promoted but that’s poor. Forest had a harder start, had to play at Old Trafford, Emirates and Stamford Bridge (plus sheff u at home) and they have 6 points
