I was in 5th grade in '93, I remember that series. Now Im a 40 year old man with two kids almost that age, still waiting for the cup to come back to Canada! haha
It's exciting. My dad was a lifelong hockey fan and died at the end of last year. I remember him watching hockey by himself in the living room and cheering for the oilers when I was a kid. We could be a block away and still hear that the oilers got a goal because of him. These last few games would have put some extra life on his clock, for sure. I like to think he's right on the ice jumping for joy with them.
I can relate to this very much. My dad was a lifelong Oilers fan and saw them in the 80s. I can hear him with every goal and have felt all the emotions as if I'm watching it for him this year. Let's go Oilers! I'm sorry about your dad. These things can be 2 years past or 8 years but the memories live on.
my mom died the same year the blues won their first cup my dad and her use to go to games together all the time she wasn't the biggest sports nut but she just went cause she loved my dad. i believe she sent us lord stanley.

Although I’m hoping that the comeback comes through, I’ve stopped watching hockey because of the inconsistency of what is a penalty. I have no idea what they’re going to call at any moment of the game. Sometimes it’s a penalty and other times it’s not. The stricter rules have the officials second guessing themselves.

Kris Knoblauch is a Rookie Coach. First time in the NHL as a coach as of Nov. 12 Stuart Skinner was suppose to be our backup goalie but ended up being our starter and it's his 2nd year in the NHL Hyman is playing his best Season ever. McStandard Is just doing McStandard things. Draisatly is about to light it up in game 7 and is playing his best playoffs. Nurse is good with making calls and whether people like it or not, he is a big part of the team chemistry on and off the ice. Nuge is simply an all a round solid player on off and def. Bouchard is a bossbomb. Bottom 6 is family and they get things done when it matters especially in this series, they've shown that they have what it takes to win and they want to win. Oilers demonstrated that they can lose and not allow it to bring them down. Prime example is the oilers Coach after 3rd loss this series and his perfect responses and acknowledging mistakes without an ego. He still showed confidence in his team and interview showed that. I say this because, Panthers Coaches game 5 loss he says the opposite of Knobs and his refusal to answer journalist questions shows he lets his ego ride his decisions. Anyone can compare those two interviews and you'll know what I mean and why the momentum and going the other way at the moment. Game 7 both teams are coming out fighting. Lets Go Oilers.

In any pro sport being in the champion ship series up 3-0 and now it’s 3-3 shouldn’t happen, panthers are definitely scared now. What ever happens game 7 will be phenomenal, either the oilers will complete the 2nd 0-3 comeback which was done in 1942 by the leafs or the panthers clutch up and win it all. That Barkov disallowed goal was a HUUUUGE turning point in this game. I along with most of Canada are wildly cheering on the Oilers to pull off one of the greatest comebacks ever.
It was off-side, so technically it was never a goal. Replay shows off-side, not No Goal. The word Disallowed is perhaps the incorrect nomenclature.

Bottom 6 is family and they get things done when it matters especially in this series, they've shown that they have what it takes to win and they want to win.
Oilers demonstrated that they can lose and not allow it to bring them down. Prime example is the oilers Coach after 3rd loss this series and his perfect responses and acknowledging mistakes without an ego. He still showed confidence in his team and interview showed that. I say this because, Panthers Coaches game 5 loss he says the opposite of Knobs and his refusal to answer journalist questions shows he lets his ego ride his decisions. Anyone can compare those two interviews and you'll know what I mean and why the momentum and going the other way at the moment. Game 7 both teams are coming out fighting. Lets Go Oilers.

I'm still new to hockey but I'm pretty sure that blowing a 3-0 lead while allowing 5+ goals in 3 consecutive games with the Stanley Cup on the line is not a good look... at ALL.

In any pro sport being in the champion ship series up 3-0 and now it’s 3-3 shouldn’t happen, panthers are definitely scared now. What ever happens game 7 will be phenomenal, either the oilers will complete the 2nd 0-3 comeback which was done in 1942 by the leafs or the panthers clutch up and win it all. I’d prefer the oilers since I’m Canadian but tbh I don’t really care that much, game 7 will be a banger.
