Yoni definitely loves talking to strangers so in this episode we'll dive into how, when, and why he loves talking to strangers and why Alia is conflicted in many situations with strangers.

no lie, yoni has drastically changed my outlook on communication in general. even beyond this podcast itself bc he’s always talking about it in episodes. i’m naturally very introverted and have pretty severe social anxiety. his tips on using conversation as an opportunity to learn from others and viewing people as just other humans, with their own unique story has really pushed me to engage in more meaningful conversation.
I used to have crippling anxiety as a teenager but now I'm a huge people person. Before I'd have panic attacks from over thinking and feel so insecure about how awkward I was bc I kept thinking I wouldn't be able to relate to new people which was untrue cus then how tf did I have all these people like me enough to become my friends? Sometimes you are you're worst enemy and everything IS just in your head
I honestly love hearing, but also seeing this bubbly side of Alia. Just rattling along with her thoughts. Reflecting on the fear of doing this of what other people think of her. This is SO different from how I imagined her from her YT video's! And I mean this in the kindest way ♥
I say imagined as I know what we (viewers) have seen of her is only a select few hours out of her life that week. So yes, Alia probably is put together, disciplined and get shit done. But seeing this other side of her surprised me 🫶
And I can't say much of Yoni, as I only started following him a while ago since he made some comments that I resonated with in Alia her video's. But I will say he seems like such a down-to-earth sweetheart!

I've just finished listening on spotify. You guys chose an interesting relatable topic 🤍. I love it. Yoni, you're really brave to be able to bond with strangers like that. It's a nice way to look at life and to make connections with other people. I would love to do it more, but sometimes my kindness is misread as flirting ( and this has happened before), and that's why I try to be more careful now. If there is a stranger in distress, I try to help as much as I can, but I would avoid physical contact. But I like the idea of being open with a stranger, sharing a part of my day and then not seeing them again. ( P.s Alia I love your channel, ever since I first discovered it, Ive never missed a vlog. Keep doing what you do ❤)
To answer your question, I think you guys should start off by dropping the intro music > introduce yourself > dive into chit chat / catching up, then segway into the main topic of discussion. I’m a new listener, I just came across the podcast this season but I’m loving it so far and definitely plan to check out some of the old episodes as well 😊 You two are a delight.

Very interesting, it’s not always easy to talk to strangers just because you feel that they look cool or you feel their energy but it’s a way of maybe make friends and discover someone who could be very inspiring and just these talking between humans feel great in our world where everything is separated by a screen or a robot you know. Very cool pod thanks ❤

guys lmaooooo it's so funny bc my boyfriend and i are just like you two. he loves chatting it up with randoms, and i always get awkward and say some stupid shit. loved this epi and thought it was so sweet to hear about yoni comforting the girl in the restaurant. also was geeking at the grandmas being obsessed with yoni that is so precious.
This was my first time listening to this pod and omg one of my favourite podcast I’ve ever listened too. What a vulnerable conversation. Just wanted to say Im definitely one of those who likes when u guys catch up or get out of topic, even in the beginning (before intro).
Cause when I listen to ur podcast it’s not only for the actual discussion, I mostly just wanna hang out with u guys ☺️
I think it would be cool if you guys made it a thing to start each episode asking each other how was your week or it’s like we’re “catching up” even if you just did that for like the first 10-15 min of the beginning of each episode and it’s not just talking about random stuff but more like letting us “catch up” with you.
After having a baby, there are so many more strangers that talk to me because I think that having children is such a shared experience among people that it’s easy to make comments like “are they walking yet” or maybe it’s the cuteness factor that compels people to compliment my kid or want to talk to them. It’s just been a shock of just how many strangers speak to me more because of this.
Both of you are such empaths!! Loved this conversation. I am incredibly sorry that I pointed out the technical stuff last week!! Sorry again ahaha

For the leggings I think what it is is girls getting the recommendation online. I know when I was first getting back into working out I was like “let me look up some recommendations for good leggings” and that kind of legging kept coming up so I was like alright they must know what they’re talking about😂 but I only wore them twice because I felt awkward from feeling that exposed lol
