I have a problem with my hand shaking sometimes & I'm unable to control it. Naturally, it makes my brush do things that I didn't intend to do. Sometimes I fix it, sometimes I just go with it. I don't let it stop me from enjoying art. The thing I like most about art is that it's very forgiving. It doesn't have to be perfect. It's full of, "Happy accidents", if I may quote the great Bob Ross.
Just wanted to share my story in case other people are going through anything similar. Don't let it stop you. You can still have a lot of fun. You'll find your own unique style.
Anyway, thank you for sharing these videos! I never had the chance to take an art class like this. I'm thankful for CZcams & people like you. Back in the day all we had was Bob Ross & I love that show but unless you were able to record it you weren't able to pause & rewind. I also like watching different people. Everyone I've watched is amazing in their own special way. I just may pick up on a technique better if it's explained or done a little differently.

Thanks i live opposite dramatic sunsets in Morecambe UK. So I think I will finally have a go at a sunset. Until today I always thought sunsets were a bit naff . But I'm going to have a go tomorrow I just need to get some spray paint and do a stencil of the hills by tearing a piece of paper and spraying the outline of the hills in the distance. But it's similar to the painting you're doing here so thanks for the inspiration. I love using glazes but I find oils are better for glazing it just takes a lot longer but I may do oil glazes over an acrylic painting. OK thanks for all your tips etc .

I discovered something that you all might like! Kentucky Fried Chicken - "TO GO CUPS" ! They are perfect to put water on both sides of the cup. One for dirty water and the other to wet your brush for painting! I have been collecting them as much as possible. If you don't want the KFC logo on the cups, just wipe them down with alcohol and paint them any color you want. Then spray them with acrylic gloss and wa-la! Water cups to go. They stack for keeping together. :-)
