Seems like no one said this yet: What I truly love about this one is that really you could use any colors you want. Blue and green would be beautiful; almost like a nebula sky. Or reds and orange could create more of a sunset or sunrise feeling. This really is a gorgeous painting. It would look great next to the bed. Ahhhhh relaxing beautiful art.

Cinnamon, I want to thank you so much, for IAM learning so much from you, your such a kind soul and excellent teacher, I found one of your traceable s it's a half pic of a girl with eyes open, I painted her, but put my own twist on it and did Ted roses all over her head coming down the one side with a rose Vine and a bud for her hair, it's already sold! Can't believe it. Thank you so much, for if I can sell my art it would be a Good send because I'm 62 and on a very fixed income

I just completed this painting and thanks to your video and your help i have something that is worthy of hanging on the wall. 3rd painting but by far the best work to date. I cant quite keep up so thank goodness for the pause button. I now know where my strengths and weaknesses are. If you are using watercolor and you really want the white to pop you can use, I think its called, masking fluid. Its a liquid you paint over the white part of the canvas or paper. It dries to a sort of rubbery texture. When you've finished painting and your canvas/paper is dry pull off the masking fluid and the white will be untouched and still vibrant and pop!

My daughter and her friends (ages 9-10) followed thing one for a birthday party. THEY LOVED IT! For most of them, it was their first time painting since grade 1! Very easy for them to follow, they loved your hat and most important, you encouraged and inspired these little brushes!!!

I did this painting with my mother around 5 years ago. I still have them. I’m in high school now, and I’m the past year have been getting more and more into painting. So I came back to see the difference and improvement from 2018-2022

@@TheArtSherpa I've never commented on anyones' youtube video before and, frankly, I'm not used to it. I started painting flowers on rocks when my son was in Afghanistan during the war because I couldn't watch the news every night....I always wanted to paint, but didn't have the confidence to approach the canvas (I could throw away rocks.. because they didn't cost anything and I'm VERY frugal).
I did your willow tree with Q-tips and gave it to my husband since he cleaned out a small room for me in our house just for art therapy. He was thrilled.

Oh My ...this painting really spoke to me. I have recently become limited in what i can do, due to health issues. Been a crafty girl most of my life. But because I ran across you I am gonna try this. I will be new to artistic painting. Have done mixed media kind of things but never this. So I can not wait to be able to go get my supplies and conquer this painting so I will have something that makes my heart sing and smile to look at everyday :)
I would love to see this done in oranges, yellows and browns like maybe a joshua tree in the southwest. Future lesson perhaps? Either way, beautiful painting.

I am a veteran and have been to war a couple of times. It's difficult to deal with my ptsd most days and the depression gets unbearable a bit. I have gone to counseling and she instructed me to find a hobby. I attended a paint n sip and found that I really like painting. I started looking at your videos and following them all the time. You are very talented, easy to follow, and I absolutely adore your encouraging attitude. You are a star to me and my new found love for painting. I just painted this with you ‼️ just subscribed 😃 One of my 4 daughters went to Walmart and just bought acrylic paints and canvases. She brought it to my house and asked do you want to paint? I said sure, why not? So I got on CZcams and found you. Today I did my first painting EVER (I'm 33!) following your tutorial. My little cousin and I had a great time doing this, we only had cheap crafting acrylic paint and not even your same shades of color but that made it more fun and we made it work.
