You nailed it! Fasting for 20 hours is not hard for me, BUT then I eat emotionally during my feasting window. My 98 year old mother in law is living with me and it’s a toxic environment for me. I have to figure out my stress management! Ugh!
Sheryl, you have to be selfish first. Now! While she is there. There will be a day she will no longer be living with you. You don’t want to have to make up for lost time. You want to go live your life in a healthy non-toxic way! That happens now. You can take care of you AND have her there without putting yourself in harms way. You can manage stress with positive things. You deserve to take care of you now.

I am one who likes the 20 hrs but i dont get weight loss at all with it. I wish. I cant be only one. I have to do more of an adf protocol. Maybe i can do 20 if i ever make maintenance
Same! I started doing ADF and I’m finally losing weight. Sadly it’s only a half pound a week but at least it’s something.
Do what works for you. Just make sure you can maintain ADF because as soon as you stop doing that, if you haven’t figured out the food part the weight will come back. N
I'm about to give up. I've done everything...literally everything (prepackaged diet programs, HCG, appetite suppressants, vegan, etc). I turn 57 in August and am just so tired of losing and gaining the same 30-35 pounds over and over. Add emotional eating (lots of stress) and I wonder if this would work. Your videos are great though...you clearly love helping people.

Collagen, collagen collagen for all over health. On the visible outside, loss of collagen is the cause of wrinkles and turkey neck.
{edited} aging is a process. Wrinkles happen. Loose skin happens. Collagen helps but it is not the only thing! There are many factors at play.

What do you recommend for breath freshness while fasting
Drinking water!!! Using a water pick and a good tooth brush that removes bacteria.
Oftentimes at hour 20 my blood glucose is still pretty high (90-100) and I have no ketones. OR I have JUST made the switch and blood glucose is going down and ketones are coming up. It seems like I should continue fasting since I finally have ketones and should be in the fat burning zone. I feel like I want to stay in that zone longer? But for how much longer? Thank you for all your very informative videos!

Hi Dy Ann. Thanks I am 57. I have been doing this 20 hour. I did weight 272. Lost down to 251. I gain 3 lbs back. I am addicted to snacking while watchibg tv. I have to fix this, get my mind right. What you suggest?
Snack on ice chips! 😂 I had to just stop. I would snack all night. Has to just stop eating early. It's only hard in the beginning. Sometimes I'll tell myself I can have the snack the next day in my feeding window. 19/20 times I don't want it then. Now I just don't keep many snacking items around because I really don't have time to eat them.

I can't lose any weight unless I fast for three or four days with just water,, no calories. Even then I tend to gain it back. Then the next week it is three days of fasting again, just water no calories. No food and I get so Hungry. We Suffer for Beauty.
