- This video we tear down and assess the 1800cc engine in the orange bus. Turns out whoever owned this bus before me shouldn't have been messing with engines. Sadly this bus will be for sale since I already have two projects that need to be finished first
Damn rough is an understatement on that piston. Wow!
Yeah I was very surprised when I saw that lol
@@VWBrennidon Hardcore!
Great video.!!!! I had to laugh in the beginning about the UM..... When I edit my own vids. It's OK Well.. Ok Well. Ok Well.....😂
its a hard habit to kick! esp when you don't realize you are doing it lol.
That is dissapointing..... Just watched the entire video, was an excellent video. Hard to believe it ran in that condition. Just goes to show how good these are.
I cheated on my bus, I bought a fully refurbished engine from an air cooled shop.
Love Corvairs also !!!
tell me about it! Id love to keep this one but that auto trans scares me esp since they arent as common to find. If this were the only project I have id keep it and fix or possibly manual swap but since I have 2 other projects this one needs to go sadly. I also thought about keeping it and putting it on the backburner but the extra cash would be really nice to finish up the bug esp since im almost done with metal repairs and ill be buying all the paint supplies. Hopefully the corvair works out. Not sure wht the plans for that will be. Might just make a video trying to get it to run then let it move on to someone else. Glad you enjoyed the video. filming over such a long period i found myself sayign the same thing a bunch of times because I would forget what I had said from the previous day lol.
@@VWBrennidon It was long but I am at work lol. I really got into it. Cheers!
It was lol. I thought about splitting it into 2 videos but figured if I did that then the first half would be kind of boring so just threw it up as one long one.
I like the comfy chair!!! Beer fridge near by ?
Sadly it's on the other side of the room. But I do plan to move some stuff around
