One of the things I love with many of Vanessa Williams' songs is how well the enunciates the lyrics -- you can hear them very clearly, no lazy pronunciations there. So elegant and excellent! 👏🏾👍🏾⭐️

Save the best for last was a big hit for Vanessa back in 1992, was #1 for five weeks. Her hit "Sweetest Days" was my senior class song of 1995. You should check it out. She rose to fame as the first black Miss America. Had her crown taken away when some nude pics of her were made public, many decades later the Miss America organization restored her title, but to Ms. Williams, it meant nothing. She worked so hard to get to where she is today, an A-List actress, TV & Broadway star, and an international, award winning recording artist. She is respected and honored for her strength, and for forging ahead, when most people would just give up. She is a beacon of hope for many, and it goes to show that hardwork and success is the biggest revenge.

Not sure if you knew, Vanessa was the first black Miss America and sadly lost the crown due to earlier nude modeling, I believe was with another woman. She rebounded quite beautifully.Speaking of Disney Princess, She does sing the theme song to the Pocahontas animated movie, “Colors Of The Wind”.
