There were many great singers, but Luther was by far the best male vocalist. No one had control of his voice and the crowd like he did. No back up dancers, no special effects or lighting. All he needed was a tux and a microphone

This was special because it was not only to honor Dionne, it was also a make up to her because they had a bit of a falling out. That's why it brought Dionne to tears.

He sung this song to the ground. Even Dionne Warwick (who sings original song) couldnt contain herself. Plus i hear the Kanye West and Jamie Foxx sample towards the end. Luther was called the Voice before the global commercial stardom of the Great Whitney Houston. Even Whitney knew not the mess with Luther. Plusnit makes me sad that todays artist especially Black artist dont sing like this no more.
