This would actually be free money for Nintendo. Drop the roms for $60 and that’s an easy 5 million + sales. If we don’t get the next Nintendo console this year, these ports would definitely carry the holiday season like 3D All Stars did
There was no real classic dungeons in BotW and TotK so that's why TP and WW would be so welcomed on the Switch.
TOTK doesn't have real dungeons? I already bought it, just haven't started it yet

@protagon1stBo Majora, too, would be ideal. I just figure, if they were to go with this release method, they would stick with 3 games as they've done before with previous "all stars" titles.

The issue would be storage; Twilight Princess and Wind Waker in one cartridge is already 7Go AT LEAST
With the 3Ds ports of oot and majoras but in hd.
I think they’re holding them off until the new console and they will be better looking.

You'd have to consider the fact that Skyword Sword HD sold well, not just because of nostalgia, but also because there's a whole generation of kids and teenagers who started Zelda with Breath of The Wild, who never really had the opportunity to play Zelda before owning a Switch. Nintendo would be the most stupid company on earth to port over Captain Toad's Treasure Tracker and not Windwaker HD and Twilight Princess HD.

They should come this year
I think they have been intentionally waiting to re-release them simply to create additional space from their original release and have something saved for post-totk. Have a feeling we will see them as a surprise quick release after a Nintendo direct this year to help flesh out the game lineup during the twilight days of the switch before the next console.

Seeing that these remakes did use the WiiU controller screen there might be a chance that they hold this back for the next console.
If they do use some dualscreen stuff, it would be even easier for them.

I loved BotW and Totk so much. They’re basically my first Zelda games. I played some gameboy ones as a kid, but never truly appreciated it. I’d love to see every Zelda game remade into those graphics/wind waker graphics. I’d even love to see the top down ones remade like links awakening
Since we’re not getting a new Zelda any time soon, and the Switch is realistically on its last year or two…. i’s the actual best time to release these gems. I cross my fingers for one each upcoming November

If they comr to the Switch they'll likely won't be much more then ports of the Wii U versions.
I've never played Twilight Princess so I would buy that for sure. Never played WindWaker HD, so I'd probably buy that, too.
Smart move for a 2 in 1 pack is to sell it for $70 like tears so both nintendo and fans could justify 35 each while still getting 1 launch and 1 cart and consider it the 2024 zelda release
WW and TP HD being on the WiiU was just awful for both games. The console didn't exactly flop.. but the switch was definitely way more well received. I'd also buy both games at full price, and I've wanted them on switch since the console launched. If they aren't ported in April or at least announced I'll just assume Nintendo doesn't want literally the easiest $120 they'd ever make. Also, Twilight Princess is literally my favorite Zelda game of all time.
Yes, it's time for those two games, but don't forget to mention Ocarina of Time and Majoras Mask as well. Like Skyward Sword as an HD remaster, of course. :D
I loved Twilight Princess on Wii and I would definitely buy a remastered version for Switch. I saw some gameplay of the Wii U version and I hope they tweak some things for a Switch/Switch 2 release. Remove the stamp chests and make the graphics slightly better. The Wii U version put high quality textures on low quality models, and it looks strange. They also ruined the Twilight effect because they increased the resolution too much.
They could do remakes of gale of darkness and colossium while they are at it. Never got to play those games.

i feel like they wont come to the switch, they already have all the 3d Zelda console games and i feel they wouldn't want to put every single 3d Zelda on the switch because it would make it more difficult to sell their next console, i feel like that's also why they didn't put galaxy 2 with 3d allstars,. i'd love to see them on switch but i think putting them on it would be a bad call. here's hoping they will be on switch 2.

No, but we are expecting a Zelda release this year. We’ll be learning more about the rest of Nintendo’s 2024 games soon, so it makes sense these games are getting talked about more lately.

There’s no point and I think nintendos sees better profit simpling holding out releasing them as ports and just put them on gcn virtual console when it comes to switch 2
I first played Twilight Princess in 2019/2020 when I was 23 years old, it became my favourite Zelda game right away and still is, I’ve replayed it like 5 times now

The story, dungeons, items, bosses, music, characters, atmosphere are all phenomenal
Sure there’s a pretty long intro, but that’s like 2% of the entire game?? I guess it just leaves a bad first impression that tends to stick
After that long wait, I seriously hope we see a remake of these games. I really wanna see Twilight Princess in that 2011 tech demo graphics. WW HD aged really well due to its changed lighting and its art style, but the remaster of TP looks terrible imo.

I never played twilight princess or wind waker but I would probably be better off to buy a GameCube and the games rather than waiting for them to come out on switch 😢

They’re not getting ported to switch. Nintendo wants you to buy and hold multiple consoles. It would be dumb for them to allow you to acquire all these must-plays on one console when they can force you to buy into other devices. But you can make your vids, whatever you gotta do to make your bread bruh

I'm very glad Nintendo isn't doing these, again. The GC era of Zelda was such a dark time for the series, you can thank the GC era and the Wii era of Zelda for BotW/TotK though so it's not all bad I suppose. Those handholdy, linear, nonsense games gave us some really creative, opened gameplay due to their backlash
