Unfortunately I don’t think it will come to this switch but maybe as a launch title for the Nintendo switch two. With the Nintendo switch two just being announced I doubt they’re gonna really have the desire to release high profile games this late in the lifespan of the switch. Donkey Kong is too big to not be a launch title.

The next Dk game should be like DK64

I think we should get remakes that wouldn't alter the gameplay too drastically. For example a remake of Super Metroid in Dreads style it would be cool to have that moveset but Samus is a lot more fluid with better control and more freedom in Super. So having free aiming added to her already perfect mobility would be grounds for a remake.

I just hope we get another Mario Party title! It's always been one of my favourite Mario spin-off franchises, and it could be a nice "final Mario game" on the Switch before the next console arrives!

I'm a huge Star Fox fan. At this rate I'd settle for a port of Zero, or a remaster of Assault. Especially if they added online versus,(with additional characters) and an endurance mode.

Definitely use pouch items, especially arts recharge! Also, do your best to always use your arts by canceling into them from another art or an auto attack. This charges up your other arts, making combat move so much faster! In order to get a successful attack cancel into an art, you need to use the art at the same time as, or slightly after the last hit of an attack. A single attack can consist of multiple hits, so make sure you only use your art on the hit that is the last in an attack. When it comes to pouch items, Narcipear Jelly is great, but if you don't have money, you can also buy the one that is slightly less expensive with 0.3 arts recharge. I also feel like most people sleep on Cream Orange Paratha and Victory Smoothie, which can be gotten in Gormott. These also give you arts recharge, allowing you to have multiple pouch items both giving you arts recharge at the same time, and you won't run out of Narcipear Jelly so fast. I just want to get across how useful the arts recharge effect is, so here is some math if you want to read: The arts recharge bonus indicate how many points your arts recharge by each second. Most arts have a recharge between 6 and 12 points, meaning it takes from 15 to 30 seconds for the pouch item with 0.4 recharge to recharge a single art. Now remember that you have three arts, and that means on average, you can use an art somewhere between every 5-10 seconds only from one pouch item recharging your arts, without ever auto- attacking. If you auto attack in addition, and chain your attack into an art with auto attack cancel, you will charge each art by 2 points every time another art is used. So when you use an art, if you used an auto attack cancel into the art, and another art becomes ready, you can cancel into that one, charging your first art by 2 points. You can then use your 3rd art with an auto attack cancel to charge your first 2 arts by 2 points each, and assuming the entire process until now has taken 5 seconds, you will have charged your first art by 6 points, and your second art by 3-4 points, meaning your first art is likely already more than half way charged by just using your arts. With 2 arts recharge pouch items, you could easily have charged every art by another 2 points in that time, meaning your first art would be charged by 8 points and your second by 5-6 points (since you ended off by using your 3rd art, it will not be charged). Keep on using pouch items and attack cancelling into your arts, and you can use arts many times faster than if you only used auto attacks to charge them up. By upgrading your arts to give them low charge times, you will eventually be able to permanently use arts, and never have to use another auto attack to charge them up, given you have two pouches with arts recharge items, and you constantly cancel arts into each other.

The only possible massive game left for Switch, is Prime 4. I don’t think it’s fully moved over to Seitch 2, but I bet it’s cross Gen and enhanced on switch 2. The rest of what we will get, will be remasters and smaller titles. It would be really dumb to announce big titles less than a year from Switch 2’s launch. Save them all for next year.

First of all, why would they skip Wind Waker for Twilight Princess? Second, Twilight Princess was dual release that released on Wii first and even Nintendo themselves view Twilight Princess as more of Wii game for that reason. Third, why would it be just another HD port when many fans still play Wii U versions? Fourth, if they were releasing another port, why couldn't they have just released this in 2022, when they literally had plenty of time to release another port, especially one that they've already ported before? Fifth, how would this even work when they're getting rid of social media sharing functions next month. One of the key features of both HD versions is being to share stuff with the community. Unless their updating their NSO app to be more of like their own social media platform and/or they utilize the community function from the old HD version(s), I don't see any of the HD ports coming to Switch. Sixth, wouldn't it make more sense for them to just remaster Wind Waker instead? Especially considering how much time to spending to work on bringing either of those games to Switch, assuming that they've been doing that all that time? And finally, seventh, these games have already been ported in HD before, why not give us a different Zelda game that hasn't been ported in HD before, like A Link Between Worlds instead and save Wind Waker and Twilight Princess for Switch 2, if they were just gonna give us another port? Releasing old outdated versions of games we already have more than one version of makes no sense. It makes so much more sense if we're getting a brand new Wind Waker remaster or an enhanced port of A Link Between Worlds. Also, I wouldn't count on Metroid Prime 4 appearing since Tanabe has had his hands full with Paper Mario lately and they're obviously saving Prime 4 for Switch 2 at this point. And I don't think see them announcing Star Fox Assault ported to Switch or a new DK game either. I literally wouldn't expect anything big or major to be announced or revealed next month since Furukawa stated that there's not gonna be any mention of Switch 2 at all. The June direct is just gonna be the sad swan song for the Switch. It's literally probably just gonna be another Partner Showcase since they're likely saving all the first party stuff for 2025 on Switch 2 to be shown in the September direct instead. That all said, getting our hopes too high for June direct would not be wise.

A Link Between Worlds is my favorite. My first wife and I met in our late 20s and we both liked ALttP as kids. When ALBW was announced we were hyped and when it released we each got our own copies so we wouldn’t fight over it. We tackled dungeons in our own order and helped the other if we needed help where the other had already been. It was awesome. After she passed, it vaulted even higher for me for sentimental value. She would’ve sank so much time into BotW and Tears on the Switch for sure. No worries though, I got over 200 hours in each.

there is some quality hot takes in this video. cracking little channel. when it comes to the direct i dont know what we could see. but there is one thing i DONT want to see... MP4. because im not gonna lie, i kinda want samus to get her next gen BOTW moment and launch a system with a whole new look metroid, but thats just a personal thing lol.

I think we will get some sort of Fire Emblem remake announced in this upcoming direct, Shadows of Valentia released late in the 3DS lifespan, and many people were predicting a re-make after 3 Houses.... Also, it would parallel the 3DS Fire Emblem games as well, having 2 new Fire Emblem Games (counting Fates as 1 game) followed by a re-make late in the systems life cycle.

I wouldn’t mind a new leaf remaster and a star fox.

I really hope we can get Xenoblade Chronicles X this year. 😊
