Splatoon fan here! I cleared a palette with no hacks, and it's not easy but it's super satisfying to beat! Even though I finished every palette within a week, it's still tons of fun going back and playing with single toned perfect palettes or all hacks on. Luck was also my favorite on my first few playthroughs. It was interesting to see a casual player's perspective! Great video!

I’ve finally beaten side order today with all palettes except for the final one. As a casual player I felt exactly like you said in your review. It got more and more fun the longer I played. The final four runs I could clear first try as I had figured out my strategy and had upgraded hacks in a way that I was able to roll for better chips. Such a great game 😊 cyphers shop was a great way to keep me motivated
I feel like eights pallet was supposed to be the inner agent 3 equivalent, but they were afraid to make it no hacks completely
Yeah I am addict to side order that I 100% less than 2 days. No hack took me 4 attempts and it really gets your heart rate increase the higher up the floor. I still play it am I love it MORE than octo expansion the gameplay is what it only needs for the dlc to be the best as possible.
I’ve been a splatoon player for many years and have beaten all of the hard levels and challenges the series has thrown at its players. (Even beating side order mostly hackless) I really enjoyed side order and found it hard to put down at times. The only thing is I wish there were a few more level layouts but it’s not a big deal since the dlc was so much fun to play
