Do you think having money as a kid is a blessing or a curse?
I think it depends on how much you get. But these kids on Tiktok were spoiled. Btw I love you videos 💕✨
Curse, money can buy a lot of great things, but not the appreciation for life
Ig it all comes down to whether or not u remain down to earth
The rich kids of tik tok are poor of brain cells.
Personally, I think it’s a good idea, but it depends on the amount and the person receiving it
If the kid is immature enough, he will be more responsible and
spare some for later
As a person receiving money every week I think it has been the best thing because I can buy little things that can change a person day ❤
That short about the housekeepers' broken arm has to be satire.
I really hope so🙏🏻
Who cares.
Considering she’s the Lambo girl as well I doubt
All of her videos seem like satire
Who cares.
.
Rich kids are so boring, they all buy the same crap, go to the same places, and have undeserved entitlement. The only envy I have is the ability to pay off debt in real time, outside of that, their lives are so depressing and filled with so little wonder.
They also don’t seem to have personality
Lol, u just described the middle class.
Idk but most rich kids I know are prodigies at something. Chess, cubes instrument coding, etc
They’re prodigies because the parents have the money to invest in their talent full throttle. You know how many amazing artists are out there that we will never see because they can’t afford the same level of promotion as a nepo baby?
@@dougsmith4602 does that make their abilities and skills any less? No. stop complaining about rich kids and just do what you can right now to improve yourself. whining about how you don't have the privilege doesn't help
these clips of rich ppl are making me soo uncomfortable, they don't know the value of money..
The way their parents are parenting them is not healthy...
The way their parents

Sammeee and being spoiled 🤢
Their parents aren't even around to parent them, unfortunately
they need a papa's hug, not their papa's credit card
Seto Kaiba seconds this
That's papa's fault tho
They need papa's hug, papa's guidance, wisdom, and especially papa saying "no" when appropriate.
I can't imagine how empty these kids must feel when they've been raised to only value money and material goods.
They don't feel empty lol. They don't care about values etc so they are not missing out anything
Honestly, yea. I don’t think their parents really value them. I feel bad for them. They don’t actually seem happy to me.
I grew up in Johnson County Kansas. The kids that have talked to me.about just this, most end up on hard drugs to numb their emotions cause they were raised not really shown any😕
Damn. I have never been called so poor in a video that I don't even know a word that I should use in this case.
Indigent.
Lol😂 right
Who cares.
@@ville__ I care cause I'm the one who's broke.
@@chatonraleur thank you.
I think kids shouldn't get such luxuries till they understand how hard it is to get that money
I think they should be taught the right morals and idealism and genuin honest awareness, respect, care and empathy for others, the environment etc.
@@_.BlueCrow._ I couldn't agree more
But it isn't hard. Not for them or their family.
Do you think those money came from hard working lol? Their parents probably are in some corrupted schemes
Well, it is not hard to get money for most rich people - most rich people are rich because their parents were, and those who are self-made often base their wealth on exploitation.
oh i would love to see a reality show when these kids have to work 8 hours for low pay, use public transport, pay their own rent, clean their apartment, make food while not going bankrupt. last one remaining wins
They will all commit suicide
That’s genius omg
That would be so funny 😂
Okay, but hear me out,, this, except they're actually switching lives with someone in a totally different tax bracket, so then the other person gets to live their type of life (and presumably, hopefully, it ends up with the rich kid seeing how thankful they should be for what they have and would wanna hopefully then use their wealth to improve the world and other people's lives who are not in as lucky a standing as them,, and it's impactful for the kid who switched too to be put in this other situation so far out of their own experiences too,, tbh, I feel like they'd also probably wanna share the wealth while they have the ability, but may also see how even with material needs met, that isn't all there is to it either,,, I feel like it being reciprocal and both kids getting a taste of the others' life and seeing how the other kid reacted to theirs would help for building empathy or whatever)
paris hilton has a show like that
It's not just rich kids that lack empathy these days. It's kids in general lacking empathy.
I just think that it’s because of the parents, gen alpha is mostly « educated » by being spoiled rotten and this is very bad
@@Angelssiq It's also because there's a dire lack of community, not to mention children grow up in the virtual online world and it warps their brains to be more like cluster b where they confuse the fantasy world of social media and reality
@@j.a.9085 i totally agree
Considering how isolated they are from others yet super connected to the bad things that happen in this world it’s not surprising
"money only emphasizes who you are as a person."
THE WISDOM--

wisdom? this is a joke right lol
So your telling me these spoiled rich kids are wise?, quite the opposite, watch how they would survive if all this got whipped from under thier feet

For real so calming and educational
YESSS!!
I can't even imagine how much of a positive impact they could make if they had empathy. They could help a GoFundMe reach its goal without any significant losses, hell, think of all those they could help with little to no ramification. Refugees, people with medical debt, abused animals. A shelter could live off of one generous donation for weeks if not months. Someone's mom could afford cancer treatment.
I can't think of a world in which I'd prefer making meaningless and costly purchases to helping living beings in need.
you put it in words
I'm only seeing rich kids doing performative activism. They post stuff and everything but that's the thing-posting stuff doesn't change anything! You have the actual thing that can help someone -money !!! Use them if you care that much
If I was rich helping a scammer on GoFundMe would be one of the last places I spent my money. Might as well give it to only fans.
Even in a selfish way, what do these kids want more than material goods? Eyes! On them! imagine how many eyes would be on them if they posted that they just put a thousand dollars in saving refugees? but they would probs complain about helping poor people instead
Usually, the richest of the rich won't be spending their money like this. Money is loud, wealth is quiet. These kids are just loud 💀
even my parents are relatively wealthy and this video still made me feel inferior to the rich kids 😂
lmao same, like my parents are upper middle class but i couldn't imagine ever having so much money to waste
"Money only amplifies who you are as a person." that's gold, right there
I also think many of these supposed "rich kids" tt and reels are also done ... on purpose, like all the angry comments and engagement also earn them more money either way. I personally skip over those cuz they're stupid, plainly put but it's no doubt they're getting lots of attention that way.
Edit: can i also add that many of those staged rich kids videos are cringy as hell ? It pains me

I just feel disgusted by these people (parents) who raise broken people. I never wanted to have that amount of money because no one needs to be that rich.
I would LOVE to have that level of money....net worth of $50-60 million? Yes please!! Because for me personally, I would be outrageously and quietly generous. I could literally be a multi-millionaire and live in a nice middle income-upper middle income home with a pool while driving my same car I'm driving now while secretly paying for people's cancer treatments, leaving large donations for missionary organizations, giving to my church, buying groceries and paying rents for people in genuine need. No need for the mansions, lambos and outrageously priced clothing. I would also have to travel the world as well :D
i love the sarcasm in the video lmao
who cares,
@ville__ about me?
This video called me poor in every single language
Where are this child's parents????!!
Fr
oh how i love being a minimalist with my simple life
some of us may be struggling in our lives, but at least we like ourselves.
rich people like their lives, but hate themselves
the housekeeper thing though- like if my maid broke her arm I’d never be like "use the other arm" like?
Those kids are rage bating tho… of course they are spoiled but… let’s be honest they’re doing it on purpose 😅
Ok but the roller blading room in their house was soooo pretty. Like that’s such a cool way to get good at it. It must be so enjoyable
My dad once dated a super rich girl in collage (in the 80s-ish) and she was genuinely surprised that not everyone had a big house or a house at all, not everyone had her lifestyle or her money. You'd think that with the internet rich kids would be more aware of things but apparently not??? it really feels like satire there's no way they're so oblivious
I'm in a small engineering school. It's apprenctiseship so there's social mixity but it's still an engineering school. One of the kids is filthy rich (like, didn't know how much his parents earn but knows all the tax évasion techniques). Once he was surprised that not everyone goes skiing. Like "it doesn't cost that much, especially if you already own your skis". OFC he also believes in meritocracy.
Hahahah if those kids had to work for that money they wouldn't be puffed up. My parents are middle class, and they always raised me and my siblings with a "you want that toy, you have to earn your own money to buy it" mentality (which has led me to appriacte money since a young age). And now as a teen, I have my own part time job (because I'm still in school, if not I'd have a full time job lol) and am starting to save up to go to secondary education or get a car(probably a used Toyota). My parents never gave me money if I didn't work for it, and I'm all the better for that.
You had a good upbringing.
I have earned money from my family since childhood, but I always saved it and then started investing. I never felt like this money was really mine, so whenever I spent it I spent it very carefully, on durable things that I would use a lot or were very necessary.
Today I'm an architect, I work, but they still give me money and the accumulated money remains invested there. From an early age I think about accumulating resources, investments, assets, to retire in the future.
I think that if the person is well educated (which these children clearly weren't), even if they have access to money they will have common sense, they won't be an empty pot like these tiktokers
@@serantos so true. My parents have even started to teach me about investing and such stuff!
I’m 27 and was raised during the recession. I was raised very similarly. If there was something that I really wanted and my parents approved of it, we’d bargain for it to be a reward for something big. I remember wanting Animal Crossing Wild World for my ds lite and that was a reward for finishing 6th grade with all As. By way of a college fund, my mom bought a savings bond each year from my birth for me to cash when I got into college.
I've never felt so happier to be a middle class young lady
Ew, the broken arm thing is truly disgusting. My grandmother is a house cleaner because she wants to be financially independent and not rely on her children and grandchildren. If her employer treated her like that I would be livid.
You're definitely right. I work for a telecommunications company and sometimes I have to call customers and reschedule jobs because the tech couldn't come out and I kid you not that there were customers who were upset that their repair for the internet could not be done because the technician's car broke down so he couldn't make it to their house (because heaven forbid you will die without having Wi-Fi for 2 days) or they were angry because the tech couldn't complete their installation because it was RAINING and he had to go up on the pole where there is ELECTRICAL equipment. I guess he should be willing to die just so that they can have same day wi-fi installation.
@@racpatrice man, I don’t envy you having to deal with such entitled people
My whole life i've never been jelous of rich kids because somehow or other they always fuck their life up. Meanwhile me, having average ass life can TRY to fuck up and its like the universe is on my side somehow.
I feel like spending crazy money and flaunting is like a coping mechanism.....but I guess us normal people can relate🙍
Back in the 1980s, "Lifestyles of the Rich And Famous" was on TV once a week. I can't imagine where I'd be if it was shown to me 24/7.
i was about to go to sleep but zoe uploaded so guess my plan has been delayed 😭
awww sleep first🫶🏻
@@zoeunlimited i better watch the video and then sleep, can't miss on the good stuff, haha 🤭
Where are their parents???
I didn't grow that rich but pretty comfortable. Had a babysitter, had a maid, and had a driver growing up, but that doesn't mean my parents don't parent. My mum made me go with her to the traditional market and learn how to prep my own food. How to clean up after myself. Grandma taught me how to cook, sew, crochet. The driver taught me how to drive, how to fix my scooter and bike. Being gifted luxury goods and trips abroad is a privilege, not entitlement.
Having a driver is rich 😅
@@andpeg I suppose, but it wasn't a personal driver who was at our beck and call 247. He would only drop me to and from school or after school classes.
Damn, low-key making your parents my parenting goals
@@VictorH-27 Still kinda costly speaking from a low income family, in my country there is such service and only the wealthy family rents such drivers and pay monthly, having enough money to pay them monthly is well-off, doesn't need to be a personal driver. But yeah no hate, just speaking from my pov, glad you get chances to live comfortably with good parents, hats off to them.
Low income + low EQ parents is a nightmare comboo tbh so I'm glad to hear parents who can afford things, also afford to parent their children right lol
Honestly, I’ve never been so happy to be poor. These kids are being stunted for life. They’ll have everything but also nothing of value.
Feel like this doesn’t really talk about that fact that a lot of rich kid content is rage bait content and that it’s kind of messed up for parents (particularly for younger kids) to make their kids the bait to inspire angry comments and engagement.
If you watched the first video on lil Tay she covered that
The value of a man resides in what he gives and not in what he is capable of receiving.
"I worked so hard and only made 1000, so I quit after one day"!! Bro that's like 3 times my budget for a whole month 😢
I honestly thought this was gonna be a video on kids and teens not being taught life skills and going into adulthood struggling in a horrible economy.
I hope these rich kids get a proper humbling holy shit
Parenting decides if your kid turns out as a brat or not, regardless of background
I really love the final statement you made that says, "Desire things but know why you desire them." because it aligns with a moral of mine that one must not judge the action but the intention. Intentions can open up a window onto the person as they question why they're intentions are so. What I find most interesting is that some people have no explanation as to why they're intentions are so besides popular beliefs and that shows just how much society and societal beliefs influence everyone in some way.
My family is upper middle class if I acted like these kids… I would be dead for.💀
I used to be a rich kid, my mother did everything for us kids and we got everything we wanted. Now I live on my own and realize how much effort I have to put into simple things like cooking, working or even cleaning.💀
watching these rich kids makes me realise how thankful i am for how my parents raised me and my siblings damn 😳🙏
Zoe, thank you for your videos. You take an accelerated society and slow it down to understand what is really going down between your scrolling. I always learn with you, and get out with a new perspective to understand how media is changing our lives. Thank you
Some parents work hard for their children to have what they have, but not teaching your kids manners, grace and class you get the new money A holes
I'm more scared for the environment than the future of these kids
i dont like rich people, especially when they try to teach you how being poor is a choice. if i die, i couldnt afford a funeral, AND I AM NOT CHOOSING THAT
There's saying here in ph, "maingay ang lata pag walang laman" that roughly translates to "a can is loud when it has nothing inside"
I'll leave it to u guys to understand wahahaja
One of those kids could pay the half of my tuition not covered by scholarships for a semester of uni in 2 days of their allowance💀
Actually after that video i suddenly felt superior 😂 in life, empathy, real friends and selfworth unrelated to what i own but who i am
wonderful video, love the deep dive, wealth can be tricky, especially when it seems endless.
its fine to be rich but it isnt when you dont realize youre rich 😭
It depends on how rich. Big wealth gaps in society are problematic. I would say it is okay to be wealthy, but someone being super rich and other being super poor is not fine.
@@pompulatytto7514 both are good explanation
I love your channel. I was sick, just got out of hospital today and your channel is soothing.
Must be nice! I went to the university twice. Earned 2 different Bachelors degrees. Currently work a decent paying job in tech. I have to wake up at 3am to make it to work at 5am. Rich kids are the worst.
That's crazy early, what time do you get off work?
Omg she posted again❤❤
Girl ur actually ryt pple are really going crazy over money it scares me what's really going to happen in the next generation
Whose fault is it? The parents. 100%.
My classmates and friends growing up were VERY wealthy. Lots of old money but most were not entitled and detached like what you see on tiktok. Granted, old money and new money does make a difference in family attitudes but that said, I grew up watching my friends’ parents and my own parents snip bratty behavior at the bud. Some of the wealthiest people I know personally are very kind and down to earth and aware of their privilege. It’s not hard for parents to make their kids aware of their privilege and explain to them how there is so much poverty out there. It’s not hard to not spoil kids rotten.
In the same way though, many many are completely delusional. It all comes down to parenting.
I really like ur perspective i think there is a lot to learn from u. Great video 💜
This was huge in like 2016-2018 and in surprised it’s coming back so soon because so many people don’t have any money
This is why I hate rich kids. And I hate how some go on the internet to brag about their seemingly "perfect" life.
Omg first time this early love you and your vids
i love your channel and that way you go about it all! it's very enjoyable
I love your videos and your way of explaining and analysing things with irony and precision!! I've been a proud subscriber for quite some time now and your channel is one of my favorites 🤗
One thing that me and my mom love to talk about is how different social classes care about the appearance of food. Say, you have a cake. Lower class won’t care what it looks like, they’re just happy to have food. Middle class only cares about how it tastes. And upper class wants it to look good or else, they probably won’t eat it. For me, I don’t care if it looks pretty, it’s just more fun like that, but I always say “as long as it tastes good” while my friend down the street mostly cares about how it tastes but still wants it to look nice.
I think videos like this offer two completely polarizing points.
There's people who associate money with love, who dont know its value, etc.
Then there's people who felt they had to earn everything in life, that they could never get something from someone without some strings attached.
Both are such harmful and sad ways to look at life.
wild how the younger kid was spoiled and all but was not acting spoiled/bratty

the leather jacket at 10:18 is banger tho. this is literally a vid about super rich ppl so I assume I'll never be able to afford it but hey leather working seems like a cool skill, maybe I can try to learn to make stuff like that. honestly, if I was suddenly super rich, I think that's what I'd do- snag a bunch of cool classes with professionals in all the things I wanted to be able to do.
a kid in private school cried because he had never been to the airport business lounge like other kids... because he only flew private jets since day he was born.
As annoying as those rich kids are, I do sorta pity them in a way
They pretty much grow up with their self worth having to be connected how much money they spend and many things they have.
it just screams 'unneeded overconsumption' if being honest
i may be poor but it's fun because the most expensive thing i have is my mother's love
Isn't there this one super rich small kid who's actually super respectful and kind?
Just wanna clear up that the little boy being excited about the car is NOT one of these rich kids. He’s just a random toddler being excited about a car which is completely normal

These kids should watch the documentary about Alex Honnold - you know, the guy who climbed Yosemite's Half-Dome without a rope. The guy has plenty of money now but he still lives in an old van, because "it gets the job done". Most of these kids will never know what it is like to be passionate about something.
Some people are so poor the only thing they have is money
Watching the Apple thing while drawing an apple is so funny (art practice)
Hey, we roller skated in the house growing up. We just rolled back the rug.
im early!!! 3 minutes! im a few seconds in and im so excited to watch this vid!!!
I love your videos because you have done all the research and you know What you are talking about and have diffirent perspectives and dont just blindly hate on something.
And also I think that being super rich is a curse because then you wont learn things by your own and nothing feels special anymore when you can get EVERYTHING you want. Also gettin everything you want isnt good for mental health and often super rich people lose them selves to the money.
If you are just rich I think its not a curse because then you can have lot of nice stuff and many vacations and other things like that, But there is still SOME limit. And that taughts the Person to respect money and learn about it.
I'm 20 years old and so far I consider having more than 200 dollars a huge amount of money, how spoiled these kids are to think that a thousand dollars are nothing?
How I wish I had a life like this but to let my parents and all of my family rest, buy things we need, pay off debts and fulfill their wishes!
I hope that the people in the video at some point open their eyes and realize that the money isn't even theirs... but I know that's not going to happen because they're hollow people and until they're directly affected they're not going to learn the value of money.
Having so much money in a world where there's so many people in need is just f*ed up.
