    The team at Documint are incredible. So helpful (and patient!). I can’t recommend them enough. They really went above and beyond for me setting up some Summary Statements.

    A suggestion: May you create a video on using Documint?
    Although I am familiar with drag and drop page builders like Elementor, and have some basic experience with Webflow, I had some building an invoice from a blank page.
    I tried to add my invoice template as a background image and place the text boxes on specific positions on the image.
    Had a hard time placing them, the sections, colums, rows ..etc don't give the full flexibility.

    Great video. Super clear and concise, thank you! Unfortunately -- I tried your Documint affiliate link and it returned an Error 1034 message ("Edge IP Restricted").

    Omg, finaly … :) Documint or Formstack? I see Documint can do “repeating frame” for the invoice lines … Formstack cannot do this - as far as I know. Thank you Gareth for the headsup

    • @GarethPronovost
      @GarethPronovost  Před 2 lety

      I think both software can handle repeating loops, but I think Documint is certainly more competitively priced!

  • @ChristopherBerndt
    @ChristopherBerndt Před 2 lety +1

    Hi Gareth, this is awesome! It is really cool, that they offer a free plan and the prices are affordable, BUT the airtable scripting is not available in the free plan- this might be rather important, if someone wants to give it a try... :)

    • @GarethPronovost
      @GarethPronovost  Před 2 lety +3

      Hey Christopher! Yes, sorry I failed to mention this in the video. The free plan doesn't include the script creation, but there are other delivery mechanisms that work similarly!

  • @talandria_digital_learning

    Top is documint is with free version of airtable 💯 ?

  • @reparacioniphonesevilla

    Very useful! Thanks Gareth, which way would you use in Mac to go a step further and autoprint that invoices? In my case is not invoices but receipts. Thanks!

    • @GarethPronovost
      @GarethPronovost  Před 2 lety

      Great question, can't say I know a tool that does that but maybe this feature can be requested?

  • @lbcalcano
    @lbcalcano Před 2 lety

    Gareth, your videos are great I never miss one. Thanks to you Im a avid airtable and stacker user. Ive been looking for document creatioon but the options so far havent been right for me. I think documint might be it. One question: i see in they’re website that “airtable automation script” is not in the free plan. Does that mean We can’t copy and paste the script as you did in your example with the free plan?

    • @GarethPronovost
      @GarethPronovost  Před 2 lety

      Thanks Luis! And yes, the automation script is a paid service, but if you use the free version they have other options that are (almost) as seamless!

    • @GarethPronovost
      @GarethPronovost  Před 2 lety

      From a cost perspective, the tool I used before Documint was Docupilot - my plan with them was $30 per month for 100 documents. By contrast, Documint is $20 per month for 200 documents, so it was a no-brainer for me!

  • @sharonvisser9236
    @sharonvisser9236 Před 2 lety

    This looks really amazing! When adding Line Items to your invoice, I noticed they were out of order. Is there a sort option? I looked at the Invoice template on Documint (though it was the free version) and didn't see the ability to sort. Hoping its in the paid version.

    • @GarethPronovost
      @GarethPronovost  Před 2 lety

      That's a great question that I didn't experiment with, myself. I have a paid version in my account and I don't notice a sorting option. I'd check with Documint support (they are very responsive) if you have t already

    Gareth, is it possible to have documint create a pdf on a template based on a specific company? For example, if your 2 companies here have different invoice templates?

    • @GarethPronovost
      @GarethPronovost  Před 2 lety

      Hi, yes this is totally possible! You can build a conditional automation that picks a specific template in Documint, depending on the source data.

  • @AmandaPentonOf

  • @tharjaco

    Do you prefer Documint to Docupilot?

    • @GarethPronovost
      @GarethPronovost  Před 2 lety +1

      In general I think Docupilot is great, but when working with Airtable I think Documint is best. It was built specifically for Airtable so it has a lot more features that pertain to Airtable in particular.

  • @jerojarvenpaa2284
    @jerojarvenpaa2284 Před 2 lety

    Hi Gareth, I ran into an issue in Airtable when trying to run the script. I received an Error: Please upgrade your Documint account to access this feature. What payment plan is used on the Documint account used to create this video?

    • @GarethPronovost
      @GarethPronovost  Před 2 lety

      Hi Jero, the plan required is the $20/month plan to use the script. The free plan must be triggered from other automation options.
