    Great video on a very rarely elaborated on subject that isn't a re-reading of the wiki article. Kinda surprised you didn't go into some of the famous named titans in 30k and 40k (The Dies Irae and its drop pod come to mind. Nothing more epic than an Imperator Titan drop pod)

      I probably should have done in hindsight, but there comes a point where I need to say "that's enough". If I had the time I could write huge scripts for these things, but I have to consider both my schedule and the actual video length, as a script nearly 45 minutes long might put some people off. Still, glad you enjoyed the video!

    I do hope we get to see more of the psycher Titans as they actually sound cool.

    What about stories from or about the administratum? They never see enough love, sure they may be paper pushers and bureacrats. No one loves that but they are necessary to the continued function to any organization.

    • @TacticaImperialis
      @TacticaImperialis  Před 7 lety +1

      I get what you mean, and the administratum are definitely worthy of a measure of respect, but their lore isn't quite as... interesting or in-depth as these sorts of factions. I won't rule it out, but they aren't top of my to-do list.

    Does anyone else think that the relative abundance of Reaver and Warlord Titans makes the Baneblades not live up to the hype they have in-universe? If you can build a walking war machine of a certain size, surely one the same size that's supported by threads should be easier to build?

    I started listening to this just after reading the Doom of Molech Adeptus Titanicus suplplement, so I can let you know that traitor Knights took part in the Molech campaign. While no traitor Houses came to Molech, the native House Devine turned traitor during the battle for Lupercalia, and was instrumental in the fall of that city.

      Size is the only thing you have going for you. It makes me think you imperial fanatics are compensating for something. Besides, all I see are giant trashcans with legs.

      How fast you can build new machine?

    • @patrickmcginty3234
      @patrickmcginty3234 Před 7 lety +2

      Faster than you can build yours. We can also come up with improvements to our battle suits to make them even more effective in battle. Last I heard, you lost the knowledge needed to make new Titans and that it takes you at least a century to make even one titan on specialized forge worlds.

  • @korstmahler
    @korstmahler Před 7 lety +3

    You're pronouncing a hard G on the 'Legio' - classical latin.
    Yet Collegia is getting the ecclesiastical soft g/J sound here.
    I'm not fussed, both are absolutely legitimate, I thought I'd point it out though since you seem to be moving to classical latin.
    (I must say I prefer the sound of classical for 40k's archaic tone.)

    • @TacticaImperialis
      @TacticaImperialis  Před 7 lety +1

      Korstmahler Fair point - I suppose the classical sound on Collegia just didn't sound right to me (unlike on things like Legiones). I know you don't mind, and to be fair I don't either, but I'll try and be consistent going forward

    Gundams VS TITANS?

    • @dropdead234
      @dropdead234 Před 7 lety

      Agility and speed vs. heavy armor and huge guns. Not a bad idea....The gundam could try to get in close before the titan blows it away.

    • @Lucivius27
      @Lucivius27 Před 7 lety

      There is a Gundam which can short circuit all electronics and mechanics from Earth to Jupiter.

    Questor Mechanicus?

    • @themechaknight6360
      @themechaknight6360 Před 7 lety +1

      The Questor Mechanicus are the Imperial Knight Houses who have sworn allegiances to the Mechanicus instead of the Imperium of Man (these are the knight houses who display Mechanicus heraldry instead of the imperium aquila) with a very good example being House Taranis

    • @MalcadorTheSigilite
      @MalcadorTheSigilite Před 7 lety

      TheMechaKnight I Know I meant should have a little fluff on them even if tokenistic

    • @TacticaImperialis
      @TacticaImperialis  Před 7 lety +2

      I did refer to them, even though technically not by name, as I mentioned the Mechanicus-aligned houses. I apologise it didn't come across clearly.

    • @themechaknight6360
      @themechaknight6360 Před 7 lety

      To be fair Michael, the Knight houses were only recently referred to as the Questor Imperialis with 8th Edition and Questor Mechanicus was introduced as a term with the new Admech codex (I think) so im sure not too many people are familiar with it to start so everyone is still going to refer to them as Imperial Knights (or Admech Knights if people are going to be uppity about Knight strategems in the admech codex)
