    I like to think the Primaris Space Marine's Mark X armor is numbered that because X is a better looking number than IX

    With all the implants an Astartes receives I'm surprised no one ever thought to install an "off switch" gland. Especially after Horus Heresy. Oops. Sorry Inquisitor.

    • @TacticaImperialis
      @TacticaImperialis  Před 7 lety +11

      Probably because if any enemies of the Imperium ever heard of or got their hands on the means to activate said off switch, then the Imperium would be in so so so much trouble. Better not to risk it, I think

    Interesting enough there was a tip bit in 2nd Space wolves codex that added that the sons of Russ had a little drinking game wile feasting, participants would drink as fast as they can due there quick recovery from drinking fenris ale but the first one to pass out due to over loading there Politic Kidney wins

    This is unacceptable, the Tau have gained knowledge on how to make Space Marines, If my Ship wasn't being overrun with Alpha Legionaries I'd would burn your precious Farsight Enclave to ash.
    *Alpha Legionaries in the background: I am Alpharius!*
    Sorry Tau I got to take out the trash.
    *Alpha Legionaries: I am Alphar... AH AH AH!!!!*

      Hey now, I made a deal with the TAU concerning the information I gave him, he promised not to use the information for creating his own Astartes. If he does try something then...Well I have a special surprise for him. :3

      By the Greater Good have a little faith, gue'la! I stated more than once there are things I don't know, especially on the psychology side. As a result, even if I wanted to create Astartes, my knowledge is lacking - I may know what the implants are and what they do, but I couldn't synthesise them myself.

  • @pyrosauria7444
    @pyrosauria7444 Před 7 lety +4

    I personally find the Astartes who originate from Deathworlds that have mighty beasts to hunt and gang members in HiveCities to be considered the best recruitment spots, tho...One has to ask, are very militarized worlds such as fortress worlds considered good spots for recruiting as I'd imagine that child soldiers are a thing in this world? :o
    I know agri and garden worlds are the worst recruiting spots considering the softness of said worlds but it'd still be interesting if there is a Space Marine chapter that recruits from like a garden world of shaolin monks (as there's bound to be one of those worlds that exist).

    • @ultramarine0123
      @ultramarine0123 Před 7 lety +3

    Well all this I already knew being the High Marshal of the Black Templars and all, it's nice to see all of this in a neat little package. Also I'm still calling bullshit on the creation of the primaris marines but...*sighs* whatever, if Dante could ally with Necrons of all races to fight Tyranids...anything is possible at this point.

  • @MrJedimedic
    @MrJedimedic Před 7 lety +2

    I've always wondered... wouldn't fusing the ribs interfere with respiration? Also, alcohol is metabolized in the liver, as are many other toxins, so a third kidney wouldn't protect against those.

    • @TacticaImperialis
      @TacticaImperialis  Před 7 lety +1

      True on the latter point - I assume the digestive system is tweaked in some way to make the implants work right. As for breathing, I'm not sure - the actual process of respiration would be just about unaffected as that's all within the lungs (I think?), so as long as the fused ribcage was able to expand the same way as a regular one there should be no issue (I do physics not biology so if that's wrong I'm sorry)

    • @MrJedimedic
      @MrJedimedic Před 7 lety +3

      Tactica Imperialis I do biology ;). Breathing is accomplished by the diaphragm and the intercostal muscles (the muscles between the ribs). I would also think that fusing the ribs would negatively impact an Astartes ability to pivot his torso. (I realize this is a fantasy universe, but I could talk about this shit all day) :)

  • @gianlucaborg195
    @gianlucaborg195 Před 7 lety +1

    Primarus Gene Seed is probably from the Emperor himself somehow..... or else, the lost Primarchs. it cannot be the same standard seed of the other primarchs as we already know the product of that. thus it logically falls on the emperor, or the ost ones unless they modified the seed which i find to be unlikely and against lore and i think lore wise impossible.

    • @TacticaImperialis
      @TacticaImperialis  Před 7 lety +1

      I think we've found out since that it does use loyalist stock as opposed to the lost or the traitors. I'm not 100% on all the facts we've got as to how and why they're improved, but we saw with the Raptors in the Horus Heresy that standard gene-seed can be improved.

    • @gianlucaborg195
      @gianlucaborg195 Před 7 lety +1

      Hey, awesome to get a reply from you yourself!. True, what you said but can Gene Seed, with all the strict policies and narrowminded nature of the Imperium and also their dogmatic view on the holy nature of the seed as well as the limits of technology to produce something akin to a demi-primarch, be made. In other words, if somehow they disregard their policies and dogmas and surpass technological limitations enough, can regular seed be made to produce these.... Super-Super soldiers?

    • @gianlucaborg195
      @gianlucaborg195 Před 7 lety +1

      Well, then there may be the possibility of some extra implants that may make up the difference too i think....

  • @emperorconstantine1.361

    1. The backpack is a micro-fusion reactor, cannon. 2. There are now 11-12 marks. Mark 10 is for primaris marines, and mark 12 for Iron priests of the space wolves..
    Cannon.

    • @TacticaImperialis
      @TacticaImperialis  Před 7 lety +1

      Do you have a source on the backpack? Not saying you're wrong I just couldn't find anything saying that. I mentioned MkX, though I didn't remember MkXII (again I'd ask for a source, just so I know for next time)

    • @themechaknight6360
      @themechaknight6360 Před 7 lety +2

      Yep, the Iron Priest armor is referred to as Mk12 Lupio Armor as put in the 5th Edition Space Wolves codex although its not really explained where the MK12 designation came from as its not really a new MK of power armor but more along the lines of artificier armor

      Tactica Imperialis the official warhammer 40k wikia

    • @TacticaImperialis
      @TacticaImperialis  Před 7 lety +1

      And what's THEIR source? A wiki without reference to canonic material is not necessarily correct, the wiki has been known to be wrong or at least misinterpreted due to its nature (it's not written by GW after all). Again I'm not saying it's wrong, a reactor would have been my own hypothesis, but without a book or something to confirm it I can't be 100%

    So, quick question I have been wrestling with, if the occulobe can make normal humans see in low light situations, can it also allow humans which have lived in near pitch-black to see in very high intensity light?

    • @TacticaImperialis
      @TacticaImperialis  Před 7 lety +2

      You mean can it compensate both ways? Hmm, I'm not sure - the Night Lords were never stated as having such an ability and they grew up on a very dark world, so I don't think so but I wouldn't like to give a 100% definitive answer

    • @Destroyer83
      @Destroyer83 Před 7 lety

      Understood, thank you.

    • @Suomismg
      @Suomismg Před 7 lety +2

      Destroyer831642 In the Horus Heresy book that had the Pharos beacon being destroyed, Night Lord by the name of "Painted Count" was indeed permanently blinded due to what Dantioch managed to do with said beacon. He had no helmet, so occulobe can be indeed seen as limited, otherwise those helmets would not incorporate shutters againts things like blindgrenades.

    • @gabrielmarquez9044
      @gabrielmarquez9044 Před 7 lety +2

      Suomismg night Lord's are specified as having hypersensitive eyes to fight better in darkness making them have eye protection in "normal" light. they are not a marker for other astartes in this.

    Hate the Corvus armor. dumb beak. Aegis armor looks the best. Followed by Errant armor.
    Also the Gene Seed for Primaris is all Loyal Primarchs. Evidence of this is how the Magos wanted to have guilman allow ihm to use the traitor ones

    • @TacticaImperialis
      @TacticaImperialis  Před 7 lety +2

      The gue'la have their advantages; numbers, resilience, and ingenuity. For a dying race such as yours, those traits may be critical as part of an alliance to allow the Eldar to survive. I cannot speak of their choice to use children, as I cannot know what takes place within the main T'au Empire and so to criticise may be unintended hypocrisy

    • @theeternalchronicler3072
      @theeternalchronicler3072 Před 7 lety +2

      Tshaeness We astartes are your betters. We were taken from our world's and made into something more then we could have ever could become on our home worlds.
      Our bodies are made perfection made manifest from the emperors design.
      Yrvraine sees are superiority and also sees that the imperium is the only way your species shall survive. So you will show respect.
