- ROBERT MENSAH WAS GHANA'S SAFEST PAIR OF HANDS. HE BECAME THE PRIDE OF AFRICAN FOOTBALL AND HONED CONTROVERSY WHEREVER HE WENT.
THIS DOCUMENTARY IS THE MOST-DETAILED ON HIS LIFE AND SAD END. THE STORY OF ROBERT MENSAH IS ONE THAT SHOULD NEVER BE LOST ON US. THIS STORY WILL BRING TEARS INTO YOUR EYES. IT IS A STORY THAT WILL LET YOU THINK VERY FAR... - Hudba
The best documentary so far in Ghana.. Well researched !
He died almost a week before an epic match between Olympics and Kotoko in the semis of CAF Clubs championship. Despite being an Olympics fan I shed tears when his death was announced at 14h00 on radio. During the days leading to the game, Sir Cecil Jones appeared on the front page of one the leading Sports newspapers with the caption "Kotoko will see" and believe you me he dribbled from the middle of the park and scored the first goal. What a match! ...Respect, Black Rasta.
Quite true , i do remember too. Atiiquaye Fio was a very good player (elegant) but the dade boys lost that much though.
Without a doubt, this is by far one of the best scientific interviews of our time. Well done, blak rasta!!🙌
Thanks for this docu, I never got bored listening all through. It left me with a lot to think about
This is VERY GOOD piece. More of these historical works please. Kudos!!!
This is nostalgic memories of yesteryear. Thank you black Rasta. You are only one who will do this because you are a Tadi guy. Nice one, keep it up! We Tadi guys are all proud of you. You have really made my day !!
Oo what a story! Interesting but very SAD....
Big ups Blakk. Great piece!

Go and watch sportsobama’s own too both are great thou
Robert Mensah has not even a Sculpture but GHANA will always remember you
They had 1 for him at yawda guamu (Thursday market) in cape coast , not sure if it's still there tho
The best but most saddening documentary.
Thanks, Black Rasta.
A subtitle to the story of Africa's greatest goalie ever to do it at last. Robert Mensah forever. Kudos Blakk Rasta
We sang this emotional song of him without knowing much. Kudos for a good work done Black Rasta
Blakk Rasta, thank you so much for this priceless and well researched Documentary. May the living learn from this precious documentary and have a positive impact on the society.
Blakk Rasta never disappoint 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I didn't come to meet him but I am told he was a goalkeeper extraordinaire very magical wore cup when in the posts and could dive like a cat and can throw the ball back to you as the striker.but can't score him..he was Africa No 2.he was the national goalkeeper and also played for kotoko and abusua dwarfs may his soul rest in perfect peace
I love this documentary, it has been my favorite of all documentaries.
Especially the part of Kofi Anto. God be with Kofi Anto.
What Rev. Osei Kofi is saying about Robert Mensah is very true.
I came in contact with the late Robert Mensah when the late Ohene Gyan dissolved the Black Stars and formed the Southern Sector and Northern Sector of the Black Stars.
It was there l got in contact with him at the Northern Sector and we were camped at KNUST and believe me this man would never train as a Goalkeeper he would play with us as players until the Coach Ben Koufie would to be in our respective positions then he would go to the post as Goalkeeper.
Rev. Osei Kofi and Ibrahim Sunday were very close friend indeed.
Oh wow!! That was a powerful one, Black Raster. Thanks for such a great documentary, ending it in such a spectacular manner. God bless you, man.
Good work Mr Blakk for digging up such a history 💯

This is a great job Blakk Rasta. Thanks for a wonderful well researched documentary. My children can one day learn about this man and know he was not one of our many Ananse Stories. Thank you.
Situations like this makes one to wonder if Ghana is a country worth dying for. It's a big shame that we couldn't protect such a person's legacy
Keep up your good work always Blakk Rasta Jah love protect you always ❤ 💖 💛 💙 ♥ 💕
Facts provided accurately, thank you , Blakk
Before 2000 every kid in Ghana has this name through the background song.... 😢An interesting story of course sad 😔 one

It is interesting It worth knowing about stories of Robert Mensah . Thanks you Blake Rester.
Robert mensah goal keeper number .its great to watch this and finally see kofi Anto.we use to sing that song growing up .he was murdered in tema community 7 whiles trying to seperate a fight. Legend have it that he saved a goal when ghana played india in the legendary 1-100.That famous save he made ,the ball turn into coal pot. his coffin was placed in the goal post during a match before his burrial.the coffin still made crucial saves that day .the lengend still lives on even till this day. What a great soccer icon that needs to be immortalized.
Thanks a lot's, but let me ask one question, where is the Minister of sports, shame to Ghana 🇬🇭 they have forgotten all thier heroes, they couldn't remember them on what they knew is corruption
Well said

Wooow I just chanced on this documentary, my grandad told me a lot about his friend Robert, they were both Robert Mensah. Rest in peace to these friends
Over to you JOE LARTEY, Ghana legendary sports commentator, RIP SIR Robert Mensah, those era I believe there was another Samuel lamptey chubby athletic of Accra hearts of oak
Oh Ghana our Mother land it’s so sad to fight and die for this country. It’s never worth it because the country doesn’t honor her heroes at all so sad. Robert Mensah rest in peace.
Best documentary ever
Awesome, I was then Eleven ,my house was closed to Ksi Stadium.
Thank you Blakk Rasta thank you 🙌🤝
Very good research into our own history. This is what as Africans we should be doing. But I can see slight changes in the story of his death given by especially those in Law (lawyers)
Wow... The hidden truth. Big up my father Blakk Rasta
Very interesting story of a LEGENT
Da Roooootikal ,you have done well
This is really sad. So GFA was not aware the cemetry was going to be turned into real estste lands and therefore could not had helped the family to move her body to another cemetry.
This history is a disgrace and a shameful one to Ghana. Now there is no place where we can trace his final resting place. I can't believe this is the story of Robert Mensah.
Good job black rasta
This guy Robert Mensa is sitting here with me and u saying he is died ,he is my class mate , still my best friend sitting right here, yeeee Ghanafo NE nsemsem
Hahahaaaa

there must be a sport museum in his honour!
Great Job, Blakk Rasta....🙏🙏
Very emotional 😢
Can we find out who composed the song about Robert Mensah?
Where are some of the matches he played in video?
blakk rasta l❤u keeps up
Thanks 👍 blakk Rasta.....
❤
No wonder Carr was a good keeper, too.
Mensa is not the world most controversial goalkeeper. I don't agree.
I suggest the Cape Coast stadium could be named after him.
Hmmm! RIP
He was nicknamed "Africa Yashin" . And voted Africans Best goal keeper in 1971 after winning Africa Cup with Asante Kotoko. But unfortunately he didn't live to receive his honours from CAF .The award was presented to his son after his death .
May his Soul Rest in Jah Place and not Rip,but SRJP,the best document of the history of Gold Coast now know as Ghana,,Blakk Rasta you are too much
Long live Blakk Rasta good documentary
In Takoradi Amaful we had statue of Robert Mensah 1970
sad one 😵
for someone as the best goslkeeper in africa we have nowhere to go anf see and mourn this great man as in america we should have a hall of fame to hounor these great men and women as they say lest we forget them not!!
GREAT INTERVIEW FROM BLACK RASTA ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Keeper of the Parcel herh!
What a legend 😢rest well sir. Black Raster you do all
😊😊😊
Beautiful well-made documentary. But the ending is so sad and is reflection of us as a people. So backward and disgusting! No grave for Africa's Number 1 goalkeeper? His posthumous son and his siblings were neglected and left in abject poverty despite the many promises?
My neighborhood kids. We grew up together in Cape Caost
Robert is best❤
Up up
One of the best goalkeepers dat ghana has ever produced 👌
this man is the best
