I have heard of Robert Mensah while growing up.
I am from Congo (former Zaire). This keeper was a legend in my country as well. His death shocked the nation given that it was few weeks after his game in Kinshasa against the TP Mazembe. I wasn't born at the time of his death but the old generation is still talking about Robert Mensah up to now
Unfortunately, this documentary has no English subtitles

I always advice myself not to indulge into fights, His friend didn’t do well at all..How can u stabbed your own hometown brother , So Seniormahn Saddick did the police arrest him afterwards because I heard nothing of such in the story telling oohh

So refreshing memories of a legend, Robert Mensah, we should have a football Hall of fame where information of such super heroes can be archived for present and future generations, the archives should include video and written documentation on the lives of such heroes. Kudos to the author of this memorial documentary of the Great Robert Mensah

How it hurts that we the Fantes have lost our glories in Ghana. We started everything in Ghana, talk of education, football, music , comedy,. Today people don't even respect us. My people let's go back from our glorious times again

U have said it right, take your stand in society as Fante, when I was growing up in Accra and Tema, u will only hear Ga, Fante and Ewe languages in this two big cities. But today look what’s happening.

Robert Mensah was a national treasure. He belonged to all of Ghana and all of Ghana loved him. Stop the needless tribalism!

I remember very well I was a very young boy. The whole country was in a state of mourning! I am sad relieving this tragic moment. My Congolese friends in London remember him very well as a great goalkeeper indeed because their local team called Englebert of Zaire. Till now the Congolese have great respect for Robert Mensah, Kotoko football club and Ghana. It's sad what happened Robert Mensah!!!
