A lot of bad things have been said about I K Acheampong but after I did my own research about him, in fact, he was the best leader Ghana has ever had after Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah 👤🇬🇭🌍

Very likely because we borrow a lot as a country. The lender controls the narrative, unfortunately, mainly becos we are dependent on them. Imagine if the country heeded the "operation feed yourself", we could have been food secure by now and even sell some for hard currency. Instead, we have become procurement specialists for foreign made consumables.

Thanks for doing these documentaries on my idol, the only gentleman, I first saw in 1973 and had captivated my mind till now. Thank you Professor Baffour for writing a book on him and contributing to this documentary. This gallant soldier had save Gh from Busia disastrous policy of "alien compliance act" I will for sure visit his grave site next time I am back home. I still remember the 70s slogans of "Operation Feed Yourself and Pipipinpi Anifan Nifan Nani; Popopompo Anifan Nifan Nani, Abekum Abekum Yen Dzayi"

Things like this are there and we are still reading about Christopher colombus in our schools. I never knew Acheampong did a lot for this country as documented in this episode. In fact, the media has brainwashed some of us for far too long.I cant say he was faultless as human a we are ,but he was a good man with a good vision for the country and did his best.RIP

Nkrumah's government did not go to IMF... The mere accepting Ghana to be a member country of the IMF doesn't constitute going to IMF. Nkrumah wanted to demonstrate to the west that he is not anti-west but a Non-Aligned hence the reason why he joined Ghana to the International Monitory Fund but never took a lone from the IMF. It was the disgraceful coup mongers and the Busia regime that went for the IMF lone yet the current government of Ghana appear to create the impression that Nkrumah went to take a lone from IMF. What a shameful country. No wonder, we don't seem to progress. Until we let truth stands (and stop lies and propaganda), Ghana will still be in a shitty state.

Poor journalism, if you don't do your research well you'd misinform with your lack of knowledge; a lieutenant colonel is NOT the same as a lieutenant. JoyNews go and check how much you've reduced Kutu's rank.
