@@warrenmichael918Regardless, what he did was still a dick move. Everything for normal people is going up but their pay. A recession is probably well on its way.
A lot of people are struggling and there are probably a lot of struggling people who would have shown that low-production, unique Land Rover a hell of a lot more love and appreciation than Tyler did.
I always wonder how younger people on CZcams are able to get so wealthy so early in life but it’s obvious in Hoovie’s case he was born into money. His dad has a huge garage with a wide variety of cars including exotics.
Some people try their entire life to improve their situation only to have roadblocks the entire way and some are born into money and the most important thing to get wealthy- existing family wealth, a great family business, etc.
It was very obvious that Tyler was born into privilege but it used to be nice that he would take cars that most wouldn’t care about but were significant to automotive history and to a lot of our memories and restore them. This is someone with money doing something good and using their money for something that I think anyone can appreciate.
Buying a nearly cosmetically perfect car with an engine problem and mud bogging in it and destroying the exterior and dirtying the shit out of the interior is just a dick move. It comes across to me as hey, look! I have so much money I can buy a limited production car for $20,000 and destroy it because I can afford to and I think this vehicle is stupid.

I used to buy and sell cars off my lawn; I got a lot of them from a public auction. If a car was too much to fix, I didn't try to fix it so it would last long enough to get rid of it, I would just junk it. Because of this way of thinking, I never had someone bring a car back and complain.
