When I go for walks in the morning my glutes are truly tight it takes me awhile to get them warmed up and stretched out is there anything I can do to make him stronger where they don't hurt as much when I go for walks your videos are truly inspiring and motivating I just want you to know how much I love and appreciate you doing these videos to help us all become healthier and stronger Have yourself a great week and a fabulous weekend
People really should not squat heavy on smith machines. It's extremely dangerous because if you fail, you can't dump the bar. It can crush you. Just learn to use a free barbell. It's much safer.
Round your back, point your feet to the sides and don’t go all the way up. Go up until you feel the most tension in your glutes and then go down again. It might be easier to try it while hugging a plate
The thing is, while such body figures look great in leggings (muscular/big quads/thighs and butt), doesn't it make us look fat in jeans or pants? I'm always self conscious about this and hesitant about working out my thighs In case they get too big :/
Agree hence I stopped weight training as much! We get to preocuppied with the fitness bubble that we are in, sometimes the results you get are not really that desirable in the “real world”
It can, all depends on body proportions and the fit of your clothing. I was a ballerina growing up, very strong but veryyy lean naturally. Then I got into more sports and played volleyball competitively starting in middle school and my quads/glutes blew up without any weight training lol. I hated it bc I had very lean arms and no chest yet, so I felt super non-proportionate. I started running to lose some mass off my lower body. Fast forward 10-15 years and now I weight train focusing on glutes and no isolated leg moves (they grow and get toned with the compound movements) and I also train my upper body. My proportions now are SO much better, I still look thin in clothing but have strong curves so it’s possible you just need to be well rounded in your training and develop a plan that focuses on strength more if you’re not looking for too much hypertrophy.
@mzjackofalltrades21 Damn, thank you for sharing your experience and for the advice. Actually, any tips on workout plans that focus on strength rather than bulky hypertrophy as you mentioned? Like weight training frequency, what to avoid in terms of exercises, stuff like that? For example I'd assume that I should avoid lifting/weight training for calves and thighs and focus on glute isolation exercises like hip thrusts etc, and leave leg muscles to grow with compound exercises. I've also heard that thigh dominant movements like weighted squats should be avoided or done less frequently to avoid the bulky leg look.
I’m so scared to go to the gym, but I’m just going to put a hat on. And go and if men look at me well they look I’m not going to be looked at I’m going for myself. Thanks for all your tips girl . I’ll let you know how my first day was!!! Yikes😮😊😊😊😊😂😂😂❤❤❤❤
Honestly men don’t care. I was scared to go to the gym before but after going for a few months now, I realise the gym is where men care the least. It’s worse walking down a high road 🤣
Impressing! Don't know if you could give any tip but during a heavy leg workout i fell great but the day after i have some pain in my lowest lower back. Am i doing something obviously wrong? 😅
Leg day often engages your erector spinae especially near your hip. Depending on your anatomy, if your like me with long femurs, you'll be forced to lean your torso more forward. This means you'll be engaging your lower back more than others. This is ok, but here's why you might be doing something wrong: 1. Excessive Spinal Flexion (rounding the spine) 2. Poor Glute Activity/Strength (include more glute focused exercises like unilateral or machines until your glutes catch up) 3. Too much anterior pelvic tilt 4. Leaning forward too much (Need to lower weight, slow down reps, or regressing to more basic exercise) 5. Lower back fatigue (your lower back got tired before your quads, glutes, or hamstrings. Swap for unilateral or machine based exercises until your lower back catches up).
@@Liownah NP. I just did leg day yesterday and my back is lighting up. If you're still sore, look into post exercise mobility (I don't mean stretching) and include more core work that focus on compression and breathing. That's what helped me.
I tried it out. It actually provides cool air to the back. At least that is what it did for me. Dang if you’re gonna sit up here with 🍿 watching and critiquing all of it … focus on what the video is about.
Idk why ppl use that machine when it goes against your natural range of motion and locks you into one that could cause injury….shit doesn’t even support your back.
I follow your videos. I do then all the time. I just wish I could get the same results at home. I have sandbags. But I’m trying to grow my muscles and I’m not getting the same result. I cannot go to a gym. Help. How can I grow my glutes the way I use to in the gym at home. I’ve plateaued with these at home video workouts.
there isnt any benefit compared to just free weights, besides convenience, setup and efficiency of not carrying abunch of dumbells back and forth but the hack squat(what she called "sumo stance squats") are amazing and probably the best excercise for growing quads, but a lot of gyms dont have an actual hack squat machine so this variation with the smith machine(since your locked in a set linear path) is great, everything else use free weights
The song sounds like when you're trying to light a burner on the stove and it's not working.
Okay now I can't unhear that 😂

Hi, I like your content. I would like to know what kind of nikes are you wearing?
Keep being you
So is doing Bulgarian split squats with two bells more effective? I’ve seen a lot using one
your exercise choice is ok. You just need to focus on the execution. Think strong core and the glute gains will follow.
gyatttttttttttttt lawd bless yoga pants and tights
Idk when I like this video but cool video GAINSBYBRIAN
Where you get those shoes?

Can someone explain to me this trend of the back shirt/hoodie tuck in? What’s the purpose behind it?
People can’t survive without showing their butt I guess 😂
