EXPLOSIVE LEG DAY | LOWER BODY WORKOUT WITH ANALIS CRUZ

In this explosive leg day workout I am demonstrating and performing each exercise. This is how I structure my Quad and Glute focused routine. I have other lower body routines which is a glute and hamstring day or glute focused day. Let me know if you guys would like to see more lower body routines on this channel! LOWER BODY WORKOUT DETAILS:
1. BACK SQUAT:
warm up set : 12reps
set 2: 6-8reps
set 3: 6reps
set 4: max out weight, till failure
2. SUPER-SET (3 SETS TOTAL)
2a. Romanian deadlift: 12reps
2b. DB squat: 12-15reps
(last set till failure)
3. BULGARIAN SPLIT SQUAT
4 x 8-10, after each set, drop weight and do 10reps of bodyweight with no rest in-between
4. LEG EXTENSION MACHINE
drop-set: 5,8,12,12, after the very last set, hold at the top for 10seconds or till failure
5. DB HIP THRUST
4 x 10 hip thrust, 10 pulse reps, hold for 10 seconds or till failure
(this is all in one set, and repeat 4 times)

14:39 is SO real...thank you for showing this. I have a lot of these moments in the gym where I set a goal initially but realize it was just too much. Bulgarian Split Squats are such a struggle for me...truly the worst part of leg day!
Seeing you work through a hard day is so inspirational! This is the side of working out we rarely see it on CZcams, when your body is just having too tired of a day. You still killed it which means I can do it too!
Wow! I love that you said that everyone is different and to adjust form as needed based on body type. For years I feel i tried so hard to copy the exact same movements as other popular fitness youtubers and didn't see much growth or felt the workouts were causing injury, but a few months ago. I just started really listening to my body and started adjusting my rotation, stance width, movements, etc. based on whether I was feeling it in my targeted muscle and boy has it may a difference. Everything you've mentioned has totally validated my changes the past few months!! New subscriber here!❤

Split squats is like the only weighted workout where I feel my booty burning!!
burning is not perse a sign of it working! you might even feel a burning in a place which it doesnt work (like abductions, you feel a burn but it only works a hidden muscle). in the start it may also be because you're using a weight that's too easy :)
