How dare you call yourself a gamer and refuse to suck the fun and enjoyment of others from their lives. You can't call yourself a true gamer™ until you stomp upon the joys and enthusiasm of another!

Depends on your vagina. Tampons were always uncomfortable for me and I got yeast infections every time I used them. Pads got so much better once I switched to pure cotton pads. I get allergic reactions to latex found in some pads. Can't use latex anything! Makes it hard to have sex unplanned because I have to make sure the condoms are latex free. I avoid hookups for that reason as well as the other major reasons to abstain.

Definitely, that was sort of my point; how a woman is "supposed" to be is such a narrow idea that a lot of people seem to think that everyone who doesn't fit their mold is a typical NLOG.
My life choices, personality or interests are just as valid as anyone else's and as long as someone isn't hurting others they should be able to do whatever they want with their own lives. If someone wants to go for a weekend shopping trip, just go; as long as I don't have to participate I have no reason to care.

Even better idea: Build a community of Andrew Tate follower types, host a massive meet and greet, and then hire several undercover agents to go around telling various people that someone else said that Andrew Tate’s muscles are actually Not That Big. Watch chaos ensure as they roar like Apes and tear each other apart

    • @dylanisntvibing
      @dylanisntvibing Před 10 měsíci +50

Another idea: Grab a mannequin that doesn't have its head attached to it. Buy a slightly oversized mr potato head and put some fake sunglasses on it and paint it with the color of a raw potato and shove a cigarette in its mouth. Grab an extra device, preferably a phone, download a voice-based AI chatbot that responds to people speaking to it and answers back with some rather horrid advice and the most confusingly obscure bullcrap, preferably in the tone of how Andrew Tate speaks. Gather a ton of no life socially rejected hardcore Andrew Tate stans and tell them that they have been selected to personally meet Andrew Tate in person because they have done well on their progress to escape the big bad matrix and become super alpha-full-release omega-giganomogaogiga chads.
When they come, make them all go into an undersized white room themed after the stereotypical mental asylum rooms you see in mental hospitals. Set the mannequin in an old rusty chair and then make them all go in, and LOCK!
Let the AI chaos begin. Watch as they go "wait a minute this isnt my lovely idol im meeting, where the hell am i?!" and start realizing they've been ultimately trolled as the AI laced mannequin starts throwing the most vile and confusingly obscure stuff possible at them in the classic Andrew Tate tone, making those unlucky stans go absolutely mentally insane.
Also, be sure to keep them in there for a while. Keep them in there until they start going absolutely mentally insane and start lashing out in violence at each-other as the mannequin gets more and more vile with what it's saying.
Only then do you release them back out once someone gets knocked out cold from the ensuing violent rage that has engulfed that blinding white room of eternal suffrage.
Here's the catch.. you're taking them out onto an airplane which will fly all the way from that location to.. North Korea! You quickly eject them all out into the middle of Pyonyang with only a parachute and their confused fit of insanity and rage remaining as you quickly speed away out of North Korean airspace without getting shot down.
You then fly back and pat yourself on the back, you've done quite a lot.
Oh yeah.. don't forget those people are probably dead now as they have probably attempted to use their knowledge of Andrew Tate's BS to try to coerce the North Korean guards into letting them out which only results in them getting thrown into a hard labor camp and probably dying.
You've.. done a bit too much trollage now, nice job.
      😎👍

I think the "pick me" girl is really a reaction to our society's hatred towards teenage girls, or really girls in general. Teenage girls are characterized as emotional, frivolous, and vapid. The things they like are deemed inherently less worthy, artistic, serious, or meritus (see pop music, boy bands, makeup, hanging out at the mall, pumpkin spice lattes). On some level it's not these pick me's fault that they feel the need to set themselves apart from the image that has been fed to them of the typical teenage girl because that image is treated with such disdain. I'm glad this term didn't exist when I was in high school because I definitely was a little like this. I probably would have been worse if the internet in it's current form existed.

I theorise that a lot of "Not like other girls" phases comes one (or more) of 4 things:
1.) How feminine stuff can often be looked down upon and not taken all that seriously, so in order to try and be taken seriously, girls gravitate towards masculine things.
2.) They are struggling with their own identity and insecure about it, and the only way they can reconcile that fact is to try and find some way to be superior, ie, put other women down.
3.) They're desperate to get laid and think this is what men want (chronically online women taking advice from chronically online men, I think)
    4.) They're actually a trans guy.

I also grew up with 2 younger brothers and 3 younger male cousins, so there wasn't much space for "being a girl", especially with my dad teaching us that "boys are better".
Because of both of these, I became sexist towards my own gender, which mostly hurt myself. I would feel "dirty" when getting my period etc. It's poopie and really destructive. Would not recommend to anyone. Luckily I've gotten better and I really LOVE being cute. Sometimes it still makes me feel strange, but I hope one day it will improve some more.

That's kinda the thing, though. They're not standing out. There isn't some large group of girls that all act the same. As a woman who has known many other women, even the girls who seem to fit the stereotype really don't on a base level, and girls who really don't can't claim to be wholly unique and different from all other girls because all of them are in various groups (rock listeners, sporty, masc-dressing, etc) that include plenty of other girls. This behavior very very rarely stems from simply feeling ostracized, and instead tends to come from unhealthy coping mechanisms like feeling wrong or inferior for being feminine or rejecting forced societal norms of femininity due to pathological demand avoidance or simply being trans. Unfortunately, we still live in a society that tries to make very young girls choose between dresses and being taken seriously.

Honestly yeah, in my country tampons aren't even sold, so I really can't understand people who think like this. 😅

19:45 sounded like the beginning of human trafficking to me. Like who says that? If it were real, I would've veen worried because it sounds so weird to have someone talk like that to you and "surprisingly" put their number in the box

Stardew Valley actually does take skill, I say this as someone who played mass effect, the fallout games, Alien isolation, chainsaw lollipop and all the games that that person listed as "not real games" all take some kind of skill or thinking.

Yup, while I am a Harvest Moon/Rune Factory person, but these kinds of games take as much effort than any other "real" game. I think people just like to discredit games that aren't competitive. If there's no leader board, apparently it's not legitimately a gamer game.

Yeah! Some "true gamer" is really going to tell me that all that time I spent ripping my hair out-- I mean fishing, requires no skill at all?

Like a bunch of people have said, I think a lot of teens go through a "pick me" phase, although it might be to different extents. For me, I was a quiet, depressed but nerdy teen and looked down on pop music, instead listening to classical music/musicals. I also didn't get the idea of people starting to date each other, though that might have been because I was actually ace. But the most "pick me" I ever got was probably when we had to play football/soccer in PE and the other non-sporty girls wouldn't even try. I wasn't any good, but would at least try to play
