Like, she might not be fully clued in all the time but she’s trying her best to be supportive of her kiddos
Such a good line
as a vivid booklover and reader I would LOVE to be asked this by my own mom(im 30 as o writing this). It shows she have a genuine intrest in her children and cares, even if she doesnt know exactly what is going on. There is this one book, Magican Master by Raymond E. Feist, wich I LOVE!!!!! It made me curse, cry, laugh and shake to such an extent that a older lady asked if I was okej or if she needed to call an ambulance/police for me as I was sobbing uncontrollably. I then had to explain through tears and sobs that my fav. character died. She keept asking me the times we meet after that about the book :) It made my day

Marge may not be a live wire like Homer, a troublemaker like Bart, an innocent yet destructive child like Maggie, or an intellectual like Lisa, but it’s like you said in the video. She is the glue that keeps the family together, even in times where she does things for herself she always comes to a realization to come back to the people she loves.
Saddest thing to happen is how Marge’s voice has gotten more raspy over the years... to the point where she can’t really raise her voice without sounding off *(likely to do with how often she yells at Homer tbh),* compared to earlier seasons when the raspiness sounded more natural.

At this point, cancel the show just for Julie Kavner’s voice. At this rate, one day she’s not even going to be able to speak.
@@hkazu63 it’s either that or they go a bold direction hiring a replacement for the voice.
They could just ask her to use her normal voice, people would have to respect and understand that.
I was one of the people who voted for Marge. There’s always just been something about Marge that’s made me like her. At times she reminds me of my own mom which is comforting in a way. I guess that’s why I like her, she’s comforting. I also like how human she is and her emotional moments are usually the ones who will get me in the feels the hardest

She’s grown on me over the years, I like that’s she just as imperfect as Homer but absolutely wholesome and loving.

One of my favorite Marge moments is when she pleads with LuAnn Van Houten to let Milhouse hang out with Bart. I love it when Bart thanks her for sticking up for him and she asks how he knew and he says "who else would?"

Marge is my favourite character. Her flaws only make her a more rounded character. She's just so nice and wholesome
The status quo does her dirty by having her always revert to being a housewife in a relationship where she forgives homer for any old shit
And pretty much every episode I don’t mind much her as a character except for in home alone when she. Loses her mind on a bridge and decides to pull over and stop everybody on the bridge and we don’t know if there was someone from example having a heart attack and in an ambulance and needed help immediately and they could’ve died because of Marge selfish actions
Their have been occasions where the show has addressed that problem. With Marge having many flowers, chocolates and letters stored in cabinets. Can’t recall the episode name, I just know it took Homer a lot more then Roses and chocolate for Marge to forgive him, because she grew self aware about the fact that no matter how many promises Homer makes too her, he never changes.
This is stirring stuff. I love Marge. She's criminally underrated.
It is well shown how without Marge the family and home falls apart. The biggest example is where Marge breaks her leg and Lisa takes over running the house and its a wreck so she gets back at homer and Bart by making them think they got leprosy.
Also, potatoes are neat, and no one should hate them unless you just cant eat them

I have to say, Marge looks way better with her hair down like in the thumbnail, but nothing will ever be more iconic then her usual look.
I love it down but when she says to homer I am thinking about wearing it up my heart melts...if I had a wife I would agree with whatever she says about how she wants to look even if I disagree disagree inisde i will say sure cause she is letting me bang her lol ..I am a simp

Marge is the glue the centre the structure that makes it work.
Homer and Bart are the stars but without Marge being the stable they wouldn't be able to perform, you need the stable to the flair

Marge has been at the focal point of some of my favourite moments in the series overall
The reaction she has when the kids are taken by children protection and the moment when Maggie chooses her
Her falling out with Bart after he shoplifts and the photo he takes for her
When she tells Lisa that she can be sad if she wants
The video she leaves Homer in the movie when she leaves with the kids to go save the town, taping over their wedding video and her speech makes me cry every time
When she realises the country club isn’t right for her family and leave to go to Krusty burger
And many many more

for a second there, I thought you said that she’s the most underrated character on the show, and I was almost going to write an essay on the blue haired lawyer.
The title of the video is *"Why Marge is the most UNDERRATED Simpsons Character!"* so you weren't wrong in your assumption.
Through decades of rewatching the show in its entirety, I’ve personally concluded that Marge is my favourite member of the family. Her more down to earth gags hit more consistently than Bart and Captain Whacky’s more outrageous set ups. Similarly, her emotional beats often hit harder than Lisa’s due to feeling like the most human member of the family.
Who couldn’t love the TV mom who’s hair is large ❤️

When I was younger I never really had a favourite. I just watched the show cause it was nice to sit down and relax watching something relaxing after school. After growing up Marge developed as my favourite character cause she is just so loving and caring and one of the best mums and she is so empowering as well.
"This never would have happened if Marge Simpson was here". That kind of sums up this video. It's a quote from "Marge In Chains", the episode when she is put in jail for accidentally pocketing a bottle of bourbon and forgetting to pay for it. It's not a good episode, but it really does show how important Marge is to Springfield, and the show itself. Also, not only is her validation of Lisa's feelings at the end of "Moaning Lisa" a good moment for her, but it is also the point where Lisa begins to feel happier, which suggests she just needed to feel that she was "allowed" to feel sad instead of having people try to make her feel better or ignore her feelings.
Marge has always been my favorite character. She's adorable and her jokes are always so simple but hilarious.
I think Marge is a great character, but *definitely not as good as Lenny.*

I actually really love marge, and when someone says they hate get it makes me so sad, when people can't see past her raspy voice. I always thought that she was just a tierd mom.
I’ve been rewatching the simpsons this year because nostalgia and marge is an angel who deserves the best. I love all the family, but marge really has my heart because she is genuinely herself 💕

I love how she will be shown to like how sexy homer is and how he satisfied her needs in bed..that's a big part of successful marriages cause everyone fights has differences but sexual desire and love making fixes that usually cause we are nothjng but animals with hormones and chemicals so we are easy to satisfy
Marge gets a lot of flak for pooping the party. I think there’ve been enough episodes to prove what would happen if she wasn’t there.
Never thought she pooped the party. She's the realist of the family. She's the most present in the physical world.
You know combining the two just makes sense, it works, doesn't make her look like she gloating like in the first one and doesn't not show how she is the nicest character, like the second one.

I love marge! she is honestly truly my favourite Simpsons family member, after homer and bart of course, but in terms of the women she aces it for me! I love her funny voice and high demeanour and he hair is just so funny to watch! I always felt sorry for her having two older sisters and them always telling her what to do and that sort of thing, Patty and Selma! no wonder homer doesn't like them am I right? lol
Although Marge is a stereotypical housewife, she still is one of the few people in Springfield who isn't stupid
Marge really is the glue that binds the show together. I think the episode where she goes to prison for shoplifting is the writers acknowledging that.

she's my favourite because I just think she's neat. but yeah I think the reason I like her is because she makes me the most happy because she had a tragic childhood but then grew up she didn't get everything she wanted but she's happy and really loves her family and couldn't live without them and they couldn't live without her.

Marge is the only simpson family member who has never changed her personality she hasn't been flanderized unlike Lisa Bart and homer.
I think she also has the best written episodes in modern Simpsons
Maggie is actually popular but she's more of a prop character like Kenny from South park especially in the modern seasons.

Marge is actually tied with Lisa as my favourite. I relate to Lisa since I was very similar as a child, but Marge reminds me of my mum so much that I can't love Lisa more then her.

Marge is amazing, she is probably my favourite.
Without Marge and Lisa there would be no show. You need the voice of reason for the goofy ones to bounce off of. Without them Homer and Bart would run around going crazy and the show would be too annoying.
Mr favourites has always been Homer and Mr Burns. Lisa Allways done my head in since I was a kid. Allways found her annoying but after binging season 1 to 31 twice on disney now lisa is the most underrated charecter on the simpsons. She is great. Her charecter has so much depth to her its unbelievable.
