Antoinette Pienaar lives in the Great Karoo - a barren landscape in the centre of South Africa. Many people question how she survives in this desolate space. But for Antoinette, it is a place to thrive. She has come to learn that by sitting quietly and paying attention, a world of beauty is revealed. She has found her secret to life.

I just found this series of videos last night, and I can't stop watching them. I'm a 53 year old married woman in Upstate, NY in the USA. We live on our small farm and try to be as self sufficient as we can because it enriches our life and our soul. But the last few years, I have felt that there is something missing in my life. I always seem to be so hurried, and have so much to get done, and it builds and builds in me until I'm in despair. After watching these videos, I actually feel a shift in me....to see life from different perspectives. And it is leading me to implementing changes in my life, so that I have a more simple, yet fulfilling life, however many more years I have. I can't thank you enough for doing this video series....you've changed my life...

I love this video. I found myself longing to sit at her feet, for just a little more wisdom. In fact, I plan to watch this video morning and night for the next 7 days. What a confronting thing to do … shave your hair in winter so that spring will be celebrated deeply with a greater sense of awareness and appreciation. I won't be doing that, but without choice, my voice has decided to take its own hibernation, and the silence has brought with it, a sharpened sense to what is around me as it do my morning walk in the local park. Capturing the moments, I snapped many pictures to hold the precious gifts a little longer. It was wonderful. As for animals and their unconditional love … I wait for one of the locals to walk past my fence with his four large hounds, and when they do, each of them jump up for a pat. Their wet "kisses" just make my day. Thank you so much for this wonderful video.

Those words can be heard as some kind of abstract concept but there is nothing abstract about the power of nature. If one can slow down enough while surrounded by nature it will offer its guidance. It is so amazing, with a very profound impact, a different dimension of life.

I don't know much about the imagery in the Christian Bible, but whenever I am thinking about the human society, the imagery of the tree of knowledge comes to my mind. From the time when human beings choose to know more rather than 'exist' more, things become complicated, I think. It is a wonderful gift from God, to think carefully and thoroughly for the good of people and this earth. However, when we are super obsessed with thinking, like the lady says, the only thing we can see is the sign of nothingness(zero), not the 'everything' through that 'zero'. It sounds similar to Old Norse, to Icelandic, to some Norwegian dialects, quite different from Dutch.
I was also wondering what language it was - but I didn’t know that Afrikaans had so many Arabic words (which i speak - and led me to think that this was perhaps Turkish or Farsi)?

I just found this Channel today and I have been watching all day long and all evening. Three of them or more I have watched more than two or three times. Tonight is the debate in the United States between Donald Trump and Joe Biden. I cannot tolerate any kind of confrontations or debates. I cannot listen. These videos have been a godsend for me I love them and they leave me speechless with just one huge WOW!!!!!!!!!!

There is some powerful effects to this vedio. You see it as a any other but then slowly this amazing power of peace and calmness comes to your heart and mind. Then you realise life isn't about running and forgetting ourselves, but it's about being alive in each moment and then connecting with your true self. Contentment happiness and peace doesn't come from material things outside but it's found deep inside in each and every one of us.

I just found this channel yesterday and i can't help but watch all of your videos. It makes me calm, It's as if i am connected to their life. Working in a fast phase city will make you feel like there is no enough time to do all the things that you wanted to do. But watching these people makes me realize that it is possible to live one day at a time and it makes me crave for a life with nature and dogs ♥

Unfortunately I haven't lived in nature like you. I have always lived in small city in an island, my first 13years of life. Later on, another big city, NYC, USA. I was a sad youth, looking to find myself and find another way of life. But it took me 74 years to come to the realization that "Nature" is in me. Life is in me through a Higher power WHO created me and gave me the gift of life. Although those around me created misery, I have been reaching for the STARS 🤩

Antoinette, una mujer de cierta edad con gran sabiduría nos trasmite a su vez que cuando se cumplan nuestros sueños "vivir en la naturaleza con un pastor de ovejas" aún queda un camino por recorrer porque a nadie, sea cual sea la naturaleza de tus sueños, te van a grabar a cincel quien eres.
