Do you ever wonder if the gloominess around you will snuff out your light? We will face seasons where the darkness will try to overtake us and extinguish our fire. However, we can still shine.
And you can help others to shine their light too, by encouraging those around you. Because when others see your light, it inspires them to let their light shine as well. Even in the darkest of times, seeing the light of another brings hope. You may brighten someone else’s life just with your smile.
Be bold enough to shine your light no matter how small or insignificant you may feel. Remember, it takes only a flicker to change the room.

I've been thru the "Meat Grinder," the last 10 years of this journey we call life. Homelessness, rejection from family, acquaintances, job losses and now so many passing on for no reason. Yet these circumstances have become a way to experience and learn. Find ways to create: take up a hobby, find your passion in something you love, be aware of your inner self longing for your love and be the one, YOU were meant to be! I am a South Africa who arrived in the US three years ago into a situation where I was kept hostage for 15 months until I could get help for my sons and I. We have gone through so much. Today I sat in my truck in the snow and cried for my losses and cried for my South Africa and the warmth of the sun and it’s people. Finding this episode and this channel I think has saved me and given me hope. Thank you 🙏🏼

I never realised I could be a firefly, had been a firefly for a very dear friend, until she told me that it had made all of the difference in a very difficult period.

Clay is (for some reason) extremely therapeutic. I remember taking a ceramic class in high school during a time I was very lost and depressed. It was my only sanctuary. I still have a piece I made in that class.

Your story brought me to tears, I sympathize with you so whole heartedly. You are strong now in your healing process which is not easy I know, I'm doing some trauma healing myself of my inner child. Being abused as a child growing up I did not love myself, I was shy suffered from multiple phobias, anxiety, depression, and self sabotage from inner shame. I am healing but it is in everyday that go by the day with a clean perspective and a new way of living, learn and grow from our pains and struggles but also embrace the joys and gifts of human nature in it's truest form.
