- If you, like us, feel a deep connection to wild places, then the current Covid-19 restrictions which are limiting access to the outdoors, is hitting hard.
But maybe there is a silver lining? We hope that what will emerge over the coming weeks is a collective and rekindled realisation that we are all interconnected with nature. If we don’t take care of nature, then we can’t take care of ourselves.
Right now she is calling us to reconnect, but will we answer her call?

Who is Green Renaissance? We are a tiny collective of passionate filmmakers (Michael and Justine). We live off-grid and dedicate our time to making films that we hope will inspire and share ideas.

There's a Energy Force in the universe, which gives us life every day with it's breath. Some call it God. I call IT the MOST HIGH, CREATOR of the universe. We are all HIS creatures. 👋thanks for sharing these thoughts with city people. Most often I’m encouraged by these videos.... however I’m not experiencing this today, with this video.
An already depressed heart would walk away feeling more empty.
We, I , have souls .....being connected to our inner self is centered in my soul, not the earth. The earth is a gift to us, from God, a gift we are care takers of, yes, but some individuals Sharing do not address the soul, our spirit, for me this is utter emptiness...,
The man who is a brilliant artist illustrates much sadness to me, especially when he walked into the water with his little suitcase......
I must express my feelings to this end....
There’s sooooo much negativeness in our world ...its an unbalanced walk through life.
I myself know even in my dark hours of sadness , I know there is hope , & Grace from God....
I experience this whilst in the journey within my soul & on the walk through the life I have.
If I had $$ I would live in these ideal spaces I see often in your channel...
reality is such I can not....
And soooo I take each step of challenges put in-front.... of me..... even if I’m concerned for its outcome ....

Since corona, it seems that artificial stimulation has become less and we have more access to our immediate surroundings, people, nature and even our inner world. More time to explore and connect to life as it really is.
The reconnection happens slowly but surely without us being totally aware of it, or so it seems. We are learning how interconnected we really are with everything around us.
A world of wonder is opening up for us and slowly we are finding ourselves in the middle of it all.
All we have to do is slow down and see and listen.

Your videos have been a shining light as I am reconnecting with nature even living in a city. I spent 7 years in Bangkok and often felt I had lost the earth beneath my feet, something that reflected in how I felt each and everyday. I remember looking for connection, but in a city with skyscrapers, paved roads, traffic, shopping centers and more I felt often very lost. I took small escapes into the forest, but every time I returned to the city I felt I was choking. I didn't know why I even went back, when the healing of the forest was something I yearned for. Thank you for your incredible work, I will for sure support you as a patron!

I have met people like this many times in my life. They talk of reconnecting with nature clothed in their industrialized and social trappings. They are creatures of human society and human thinking. They talk of connecting with nature, but they completely miss the point when they attribute to nature, human purposes. To be part of nature requires no human intellect or reasoning. It is eat or be eaten. It is the instinctive, conscienceless existence of tooth and claw. There is no remorse in nature. There is no altruism. There is only instinctive survival.
It is only among humans that we find spiritual concepts, morality, good, evil, ugly or beautiful. While we live, our humanity separates us from nature. We may have started as just another creature, but with our first tools we began a journey which removed us ever farther from our "natural" state. We reconnect to nature only in death.

Wonderful... really... Few years back I spent some time in a small village, somewhere in middle Java, Indonesia. Well, I am an Indonesian. I watched this and all the memories came back to me. It was really powerful. I wrote a blogpost noting that I wanted to go back and live and a small village, closer to nature, far away from all the hustle and bustle of the city life. And now one year going into the pandemy, my dream strongly came back to me... Hopefully I found a way to make it a reality...

So beautiful. Such a superb job of putting this together. It touched every heart string and nerve in my body. This virus has slowed a lot down for the entire world. I am fortunate that I have approximately 28 acres in the mountains of East Tennessee. I'm 71 years old with one lung but I love being outdoors and I always have. I do a lot of organic gardening and tending the Earth Mother. My property is a piece of property where what is called the Trail of Tears crosses right through the property. There are places that I can walk and feel the cold heartless energies of the crimes that were committed on this property and the Sadness and Sorrow that walked through it. The president of the United States at that time Andrew Jackson ordered the removal of the Native people from the Eastern Us and other parts of the country. One of his written orders were that if they drop to the ground due to exhaustion shoot them where they lay. Sometimes I feel so strongly that there are some calling to me from the graves here on my property. Everyday I perform my own prayers and ceremonies to heal this land. I don't have many many more years left on this planet but what I do have I want to put back more than I have taken. I have planted on this land and what was pastures hundreds and hundreds of trees which are now 25 to 30 years old since I have been here. I am blessed and I still go hiking and camping with a tent alone in the wilderness I guess you would say that I am an introvert. I do love people dearly but I love like-minded people. Also I guess you would say I'm sort of an empath. I feel people's emotions and pain so strongly and I sometimes take it in and absorbed part of it for them. If you say there's only four of you working on these films that is incredible. I don't know any of you but I feel for sure that because of the content you present here that all four of you must be very old old souls. And I must say very beautiful souls.
