It's always a treat to "Flash Back" , (not necessarily to have a flashback LOL") But to look back in time at when my Coin Collecting Hobby took hold of me. And indeed Sir, you are right, this "Iconic Quarter" played a major part in the roll of my life. But there in" also was the "Gold Plated Bicentennial, along with Cable Tv" " The home shopping network" and Cellular Phones. O-Brother" the Good Old Days" where have they gone LOL"
Thanks my friend for Sharing. GOD BLESS ALL
I was born in 80 but I couldn't agree more where oh where have the good ole days gone?! I really, really wish things could go back to how they used to be. Technology (please don't get me wrong I love working on electronic devices & fix them for free) is taking over and its sad. The kid's, teens, tweens, young adults for the most part aren't how most of us are. I'm sorry but there are way too many that think the world owes them and everything should be handed to them. They don't wanna work, clean do crap! I wish my kid's (well almost all adults now, at least almost all over 18 not really adults lol) would act like that. Anyways I Love your comment, thank you sir. God bless you and yours. Have a fabulous day.
I love this quarter. I was born in 1976
One of my favorite coin designs growing up! You didn’t mention the 40% silver varieties in the mint and proof sets!
I remember when these coins used to roam the plains in gigantic heards like the pre-Colombian buffalo.
Great too know,i've been saving these for a long time!
I used to have one. My grandfather gave it to me because I was born in ‘76. I had it tucked into my wallet until I was a teenager, and I have no idea what happened to it after that. I wish I still had it.
My mother put 4 bicentennial quarters in my Christmas stocking back in 1975. I still have it, and I the Coins look like new.
I JUST GOT ONE OF THESE quarters yesterday. I had put IT into my coin bank and decided to watch this video.
You need JESUS. Pray to HIM, HE loves you.
When you die as we ALL will soon. 99.9 sooner than they think 🤔 ..you will kneel before JESUS. Romans 10:5/10. The One and only true Son of GOD Almighty, all others are false..we are all sinners and need JESUS. @@Mr.Caring. Yes I believe in Jesus. I was raised in a Baptist home
@@Mr.Caring. I haven't got a CLUE what Worshiping Jesus has to do with a Bicentinneal quarter. This is a coin colletors video, not a church related video.
I have 2 rolls of these from the 70's never thought of cracking them till now.
D. C. Two roll u have bid money
Seriously?
I have 1 of this dated quarter. Which is in reasonably good condition.
I know that this coin turns up in pocket change from time to time.
And it's worth more than face value.
Save the coin and have it professionally graded.
By NGC,PCGS, or any reputable coin grading company.
In new condition it worth a handsome premium.
Even for any clad coin.
Best of luck.

I’ve got a few of these. I remember back in 1976 getting my very first one. I had to show it off to my school friends!
Me too, and My memory goes back to Digital Watches too. The ones You pushed the button and it lit up green!
I recall these were quite common back when I was a youngster.
I love these coins! The 3-coin silver bicentennial mint set includes the only 40% silver quarter ever minted- pretty neat and affordable too.
Do have several and one in silver. Do love them! ❤️😊
I found 5 of these today when I was doing laundry. I've collected them the last few years.
Hello
And I've got 52 rolls of these(my father got a roll every paycheck) and 11 rolls of the bi-centennial 1/2 dollars and 10 rolls of bi-centennial dollar coins . Now you've got me wondering🤔
I love and collect this quarter!!....got a jar full of them!!
I get them all the time coin roll hunting from my credit union and I order a box of quarters a week!
Sometimes the basics are the best! Thanks for the reminder.
Back in the 80's my brother would sell these at the swap meet for 20 cents each (limit 1 to a customer). People would try to figure out what the deal was, and why were they only 20 cents. For the loss of only a nickel, the reactions of the people were priceless.
Funny stuff
I've been saving some of these for years. Although I have a few that have part of the drum edge smashed like a flat spot. But only a few of these i possess have this.
I have actually got acouple that don't have the Drum, and one no Drumsticks, and some others with different things going on with them. so hey that's cool sounds like LOL"
@@rayturner3988 hey thanks! By the sound of your collection, yours are more rare. But hey we both have misfits! Lol
I remember when these came out I must’ve saved about half a dozen of them just because they looked so neat.
Thanks for sharing your information about them.
i have lots ,I like them when they came out when I was a kid .
Yep I’ve have this one I’ve had several of them over time. Should’ve kept them all.
Thanks for sharing all your knowledge with us. You are appreciated

I second that LOL"
Thanx 4 the info!🔍 nice video...👁
I have so much old money. I love collecting them!
Thanks for the info BlueRidge. I remember well when these came out and my folks hoarded them by the roll. Many of those original coins are still in my care but I did not know about the Denver DDO's. You gave me something new to look for. Thanks man. Take care and I'll see ya in the next one.
This coin got me into collecting. My uncle was always looking for them so I was on the hunt. :)
Phone7808624898 I'm have dad cion
Yes
I was on vacation in El Salvador a few years ago. After a few purchases, I noticed that I was given a quarter with Derek Jeter's colored image on the front and a buffalo nickel as change. I gave the Derek Jeter quarter to my sister as a present being that she collects Yankees memorabilia and I kept the buffalo nickel.
Non Binary Transgendered Teddy Bear Hamster i
I did have some of these before. But I think I spent them when I was Broke! I remember when they came out new and Shiny!
I have a bicentenial quarter with out the (JLA) on the reverse!
because they are common people don't care so we will lose them to cull. they will become rarer as the years go by.
I have a bicentennial quarter that I picked up in 76 were the entire flame in the back is embossed 3 mm!😁
My dad loves these. He is now 68 years old, and had about $800 worth of these. He wont sell or spend one ever
Thank you for the information, I enjoyed learning alot of stuff I didn't know
Yeah" i myself (a-old Collector) I'm finding out how i just thought i new everything about this hobby of ours. Man was i under thinking LOL"
Got to thank old Teach (BRSH) no doubt, he noes this hobby INSIDE OUT" AND OUTSIDE IN LOL"

Found a couple of the doubled dies this past week yeah the fs-101's super stoked and getting them off pcgs soon
Thanks Blue Ridge
I just went through my bicentennials and found one struck on I believe is a 5 cent planchet, weighs 5.1 g and has errors up the yin yang, thanks, Philly. Anyone else seen one of those before?
I'd love to see Pictures
I think the drummer image is the coolest image ever put on a coin
yes,l have 1776--1976,one dollar, half dollar and quarter dollar all is in set proof
Thanks for showing this 1776-1976 coin I have it same one I will be holding on to it until
Until what?
...can you please update with a description what to look for in the reverse DD? ...sample pic?
...good info ...thx
The doubled dies are on the obverse not the reverse
Love coins they come with history
Love these quarters
I have one with part of top of the drum missing. Circulated so do I hope for a few bucks or spend a few and grade it?
I have a bicentennial quarter that has a die crack or something in such a way, it looks like a pocket on the vest, and another b- quarter with a die crack that looks like a crease near the elbow.
Thanks for the video. They really are a cool quarter.
I have 6 recently acquired via a change machine at work.
Worth is determined by condition. If the quarters are in uncirculated or proof condition, THEN they are valuable. Same goes for all coins or, anything collectable.
The day I got married the Bicentennial Quarters ( $20.00 worth)I had were stolen . I collected a bunch more and collect Eagle back quarter's now.
I found 3 in my change from my restaurant order. Lol
Thanks BlueRidge 💥💥 Good stuff as usual 👍🏻
I had almost $300 worth of Bicentennial quarters for about 20 years but I had to cash them all in at my bank. I held on to the first Bicentennial quarter that I got since.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤Kd
Hey you where do you take the old coins to see how much there worth.? I have quite a few coins I have 2pennies that's Indian head a1904 and a A
188 something Indian head I can not the other part of the penny.
@@francesmcnutt7777 You have to find a credible numismatist who'll determine the value of those coins.
I’ve been collecting these quarters for some time now. I’ve see quite a few here lately. Even got an off center strike. And one with no edges.
Where do you buy BU rolls of this coin?
My husband had 2 huge boxes of uncirculated pennies going backwards from 1965 to the Indian head penny. After my husband was hospitalized I stored the pennies in my daughter's garage and they were stolen probably that collection is probably worth thousands today. He also had many many steelies in uncirculated condition still in the sealed Bank wrappers.
I had many rolls of them. A few years ago I got tired of saving them and spent 'em.
Prob your mum threw away all those baseball cards too.😣😿
It is a very nice design, I think the whole set is lovely! Thanks for the video and God bless you too.
Yes I have a couple of them
I have one right now I went to the store and they didn’t want to give me the change she was crying and I looked up the coin I have and I whatched this video and I was amazed
I have a 1976 bicentennial Kennedy Half Dollar!
I have 2 of those types of Quarters and both in Awesome shape and condition
Pretty good advice I'd like to hear more about the bicentennial quarter
Great inf. JB. I try my best to listen 👂 on ur topics Red Duke, Lawtell la
BRSH, this coin was a big part of my childhood collecting days.
It is about to be featured in my “12 Days of Christmas” video series as 12 drummers drumming. Like the song but a different coin gift per day. Finale not yet released but Days 1-10 have been released in installments. Come check it out.
Nice coin, great information thumbs up!!
The really valuable quarter is the 1975 Washington quarter dollar. Very few were made and were ordered destroyed in order to make the 1976 bicentennial quarter. Some say a few of the very few 1975 quarters made were not destroyed. Find the extremely rare 1975 quarter and retire. Officially, no 1975 quarters were entered into circulation. However, officially no 1959 wheat pennies were made either. However the mule cent, as it has come to be known, does exist.
Untrue about 59 wheat
I got 59-27+29s,tail,41bulbtaio wheat 56_54_55_59_d,56_58_50
@@allahson4967 Check out the 1959 Mule cent. Some experts have authenticated it. Some have come up inconclusive. There are pictures of it on the world wide web. It has changed ownership a few times and has gone for quite a handsome sum of money. Officially, none were made. However, the one that has been found may be the only one.
I've noticed on the 1976 D a light strike on the drummer boy ponytail. Also as a indicator of this is a light strike on Washington's ponytail. Is this common or something more? I've discovered 4 out of 100.
Hello BlueRidge! I have 3-4 of these quarters and would like to find out if either o f them are worth a good amount of money. Thanks!
Great video! Very informative.💰
Isle of the bicentennial quarter wish I had more
Very informational. Thanks for sharing!
I have it and I'm saving it
I have one this from Denver. I live edo México
Mint condition bicentennial proof set sells for about $12 on ebay. My son was born in 1976 and I bought one for him. I don't understand how this particular quarter could be very valuable.
I have a ton of them, I love the design
I've got one with a cladding failure.
Thanks, very thoughtful 👍
This is good to know.
I have one of these with no mint mark in really good condition
Ive got two at the moment. I've grown up seeing these and spending them.. Excellent video!!
I have this coin with a small dot for the mint mark. Any information on this type of error?
I have one of these in great condition, flawless to the normal eye... It's one without a mint mark. I am going to a coin shop later to see about getting it graded..... But according to every other coin channel on CZcams, the ones without a mint mark are especially rare, can I get your opinion and insight?
I have four in my coin collection.
There so neat...I would save them just because they are so cool a shiny🏆🏆🏆
If anyone comes across my comment, I just have a question. I'm new to this, and trying to learn, so any help would be appreciated, thank you. I have the bicentennial no mm with a In God We Rust grease error. Is that a common error?
Great clip, enjoyable always!
So when you send in for grading, do they tell you how much it's worth??
If you find a bicentennial quarter in your change, it's worth 25 cents. If you have a collection of 50 state quarters made from coins you found in your pocket change, it's worth $12.50
Yep
This is the coin that got me into collecting got 3 of them at one time in change great video and as always HH
😮😮WOW! I HAVE A PROOF ONE IN A PLASTIC COIN COVER WOW NICE 😀👍 I Wonder How Much Could It Possibly be Worth Hmm 🤔
I have a ton of bicentennial half dollars. LOL. I was 15 that summer.
Do we have to be a member of PCG in order to get a Coin Graded?
Yes I have one
I cherry picked an S silver, MS67, and foung the motto 'IGWT' doubled identical to the clad coin. I haven't found any info on the S silver ever being documented.
I had about $30 worth of them a few years ago, 1 roll normal, 1 roll of D mint & loose mix of both, sold them to collector on Craigslist for $50 :D
I have three of those quarters!
1776*1976 I believe one of them has copper
I have this coin. Double die, reverse and obverse.
Yes i do have
I have many of the bicentennial quarters and uncirculated state quarters. I'll never sell them.
