CZcams has been making it harder to access the video description lately so I figured I would throw this link up here in the comments as well. Thank you so much for watching and supporting the channel! I appreciate you all! 😄
I have ordered some penny place mats & once I get them & check the quality I may order some more. I would like to know the different types you have...thanks
@@stanleywilcox856 thank you for the order Stanley! All of the different placemats that I have are listed on my website: I have penny, nickel, and silver stacking placemats
Hey I have an Nickel that does not have a date on it.i have had it for years.what do you think it's worth.
A little help from you if you don't mind, I have a 1905 penny and a buffalo nickel with no date, I know that the buffalo nickel isn't worth anything but what about the Indian head penny
I have a hole lot of coins 🪙 1 Dollars 1 crown 1975 one cent nicklaus 1944
Can totally tell you’ve been doing this a long time ! I recently have been going through my change jar each coin at a time ! Came here to get some ideas on what type of coins to look for
Right there with you ,I check every coin in my house,I have hundreds of 1943 steel pennies but been told they are worth nothing.they are in a cheap sheeth,as to no circulation,so I don't believe they aren't worth more than a penny.
@@johnkonley1421 yeah sadly it’s only valuable if it’s graded but it’s amazing what you can find! It’s history right in our pockets
That was a great box! Congrats!
Great video. I really enjoy them.👍
Hello Quin . I noticed you didn't looked for Ful Steps or rotated ones and so on 🤔
Ouch that one really got beat up 🤕. Cool finds especially the low minted one 38 S congrats 🙂👍🏾🌵
Hey ! Always enjoy your shows !
👌🙂👍
Thank you Linda!
Awesome key dates bro! I can't wait to film my next nickel box!
It's been two years since I've seen your vids, it's good to be back! I'm going to open up some boxes that are 2 years old on my channel!
Congrats on the 38-S...another great video, Thanks Quin.
2009 D at 18:33 on the left. Maybe too late to save but can add the points for the box. Have not been able to get boxes myself from local banks yet, but really like keeping scores like that.
Oh no!! You know a lot of people have tried to point out 2009s that I missed in the past and they always ended up being wrong but you are the first to get it right! I definitely missed that and it is indeed too late to save 😭 nice eye!
What’s special about the 2009 Denver
What happens with the nickel of 1940-D??
@@seancunningham7589I'm a year late but, 2009 nickels are one of the lowest mintage in the recent years, only 46,000,000 for the Denver mint which is surprisingly low.
Just curious - How would you score a proof? Found a 1963 Jefferson proof and a 2005 S West Virginia quarter proof in back-to-back boxes a couple days ago.
A proof nickel counts for 10 points!
@@QuinsCoins we don't play points, you do haha....value my man
I am new to coin collecting I have a 2007 Wyoming quarter that has been double struck and has no ridges on the sides. Can you give me advice on what I should .
Nice finds!
Thank you Weasel!
I just found a 1942-P - Type 2 (“P” over Monticello) in a coin roll with Full Steps! It is BU and looks like it was made yesterday! No scratches! MS68 or better?
Awesome Hunt
thank you for sharing this video and good luck my friend
I am really enjoying these videos...thanks
Awesome Video!!😎👍
Thanks!
np!😎👍
Thanks for the video. I'm now really happy I keep all nickels under a certain date no matter what the condition is.
Where do you order your boxes of rolled coins from? Which bank or banks?
I've run into issues where only boxes of new minted coins only instead of mixed circulation coins show up at my bank.
Any help or tips would be appreciated.
I'm wondering the same
Any time I find a weird coin I pull it out and put in my coin book. Try dawn dish soap should get that stuff off that 38s
I found a 1938 D last week. Im going to get another box of nickels this weekend
i think using an uiltra sonic cleaner that people use on jewlery would be great for cleaning grime on coins because its just water bascially
I loved The Office reference, keep up the hard work my man.
Great information. What about a 1949 no mint mark. Is it rare?
Hello, just stumbled on to your video and you mentioned that cleaning coins can devalue or even damage coins but the coins in your album look cleaned up. Am I mistaken or can they be safely cleaned?
Aside from buffalo nickels, if they are in my album and they are cleaned, then I found them that way. I do not clean my coins. The only time I apply anything to coins is when using nic-a-date to get the date off of a dateless buffalo nickel
@@QuinsCoins So if you find counsel that are dirty you dont recommend even wiping them off with soapy water, windex, dry cloth etc?
@@QuinsCoins what is nic-a-date!? I have two buffalo nickels, one 1936 and the other with no date... TIA
Water does wonders.
Hey Quin I went metal Detecting today and found a 1978 Dime, is it worth anything? And even if it isnt I still want to clean it, so what would would you recommend for cleaning coins (something that won't damage them of course)
Ultrasonic cleaner is the only thing
Alright, best cointuber yet my man...def gonna get the placemats for every denomination. I've collected for like 10-15yrs now but REALLy got into it a few years ago, and I have a lot ofnthese coins you speak of. Love the channel
Just found a 1969 S mint mark, back side you can see Jeffersons pony tail on the back, and allot of errors, was happy to find it while getting change.
I found a 1948s and I tossed it back in the rolls to be exchanged. Didn't realize what I did until I was finished hunting and didn't see it in my pile of finds
So what are the most sought after coin s that you need to finish your collections
So at 19:27....far right, 3rd up, that one looked old enough to check? Seemed ys skipped right over it haha
When you are done looking through the coins, do you take them back to the bank or dump them into a coin machine?
Hey good work but I have a question I’m going to the bank in a couple days and which kind of coins should I get?Nickels, quarters, pennies, or dimes?
Thanks! And that depends on what you like to hunt. If you’re looking for silver, go with dimes. If you’re looking for older coins, go with Pennie’s or nickels as they typically have the best chance in that area. I prefer nickels over all others!
I started out at 11 years old with nickels and pennies they are my favorite. But if I had to pick a box of nickels or pennies I would choose the pennies. Only because I love Wheaties and all pre-82’s are copper.
Whatever you choose I wish you all the luck. Take care.👍
Thanks for the advice 😊
All of them
QUESTION?? - I'm just starting to get into coin collecting, where do you go to get coin rolls that have been circulated. When I go to my credit union to get coins or $1 or any other money they give me new money and I want circulated currency. So again who do I go about doing that.
21:44 , “Zombies” 😂 but I think you’ve found some of my dump coins . I have a box of the 09’s . Buddy if you like Jeff’s I CAN PROVIDE YOU WITH WHATEVER YOU WANT !
The 1964 D with the mint mark on the reverse has a repunched mint mark error that is worth a couple hundred dollars in fair shape more if in better condition.
I have a nickel year 1944 and on the backside hit has a mint mark D but it is not in the usual place it is straight above the house on it not on the sides so what would it be worth
Great, now I have a whole bunch of nickels to look through lol..
Just as many as you.
Not sure how much I watch the channel so I'm not 100% sure if you covered this before. But you know you could take a butter knife plastic or a toothpick or one of those wooden implements that come from a fingernail manicure set and you can pluck the edge of the paper out from one of the ends and then refill them and close them back up instead of just ripping them and having to reroll yourself in new sleeves?
How can I get one of the nickel charts that you have I injoy your video I’m a coin collector I been collecting for a little while oh where do I find one of those coin holders like the one you have thank you for all your videos I’m a big fan.
Aye not for nothing but I strongly believe that it’s a S mint, I got a 1975 Dime, do u think it’s worth getting certified?
That 1 with the paint on let's look at that again sometime soon, please.
Can u tell me why you stack 1958 or older ? Is there any silver other than war nickels ?
I have a 1960 nickel that is an error and I can't find any other one like it and when I take it to coin buyers they all say I gotta get it authenticated... How much could this be worth???
I seen a couple “Hennings” I think my man ! Check them again . This particular hunt .
How you doing my name is Russell I've been following you on CZcams about the coins I have a few questions how do a person order nickels quarters and dimes the way you do
CYNTHIA BELL following you from Natchitoches Louisiana found a nickel it's a 1928
I think some channels put those coins in the rolls before that open them on camera to keep viewers..... I've gone through many rolls and haven't found anything but somehow they find one out two in everyone...
12:50 I need that album! Where'd you get?
I am surprised you are so happy about a 1949 S nickel. In the red book it doesn’t say that it’s anything special. It just says valued at two dollars in moderate condition.
Because I don’t coin roll hunt to earn money. Actually, I’ve never sold anything that I have found and probably never will. For me and a lot of others, it’s about the thrill of the hunt and finding something that is difficult to find!
The reason i can't coin roll hunt is all the new coins, i would have to save them all for BU rolls, so would lose too much money on every box lol.
I'm going to buy my first nickel box this coming week. Wish me luck.
Awesome! Good luck!!
Where do you buy them? Just go to my local bank and ask for rolls ?
Good lack❤
Good lack❤
Good. ❤
Quin can you please tell what's the difference between a Denver minted reverse and the rest of the mints? Thanks in advance should you respond.
They each have different markings that signify where they were minted. D is Denver's mint mark. S is San Francisco mint mark. No mark or P is for Philadelphia mint mark. Hopefully this answers your questions about mint Mark's. Happy Thanksgiving!
@@jsharp1776 thank you for your response but I believe you misunderstood my question. I'm not questioning which mint marks were made where. I know that stuff already. What I was actually asking is what's the difference in the DESIGN of the Denver reverse. I'm pretty sure I heard Quin say the reverse of the Denver minted nickel was different compared the other mints. Unless I misunderstood something of course.🙂✌️
@@susanserwatka931 okay. I see what your question is now. I will review this and let you know. I am not really sure. I think that the Denver mint does a more quality version than the other mints. I will get back to you if I can find out more information on any difference in the two other than mintage Mark's. Cheers.
I found a nickel about a year ago. It's a copper color 1981 and I think it's a D mint and if you could tell me I could put a video out CZcams with the coin in if you could help me figure out if it's a copper nickel or if it's just something else
Yes I have a few questions for you how do a person get rid of these old coins what's defective
Where do u order your coins from?! If u don’t mind me asking?!
That was a good box hunt way to go. Stat positive those other two nickels will come. Be blessed.
1933
How you doing I've been keeping up with you on Facebook and on CZcams I'm looking to find out how to order nickels and quarters
I would love to get some of your charts
What if you find a Nicole with the head of the coin is on the left of the coin and not in the center like all the rest of nickel
REAL SWEET 😁
Thank you!
I live in Hawaii .....and I NEVER find San Francisco coins! Mostly Denvers....with an occasional Philly is all I see!

Hi I have a lot’s of good coins would please tell me how can I buy it on the market i just started looking up what I have from coins
Good video
I'm in Michigan also.. I think I'm getting your rolls
My Mother has a gold Dime printed in 1981 does it have much value??
Found a war nickel in the change return on a pop machine.
Omg! I have a 1946 nickel what significant marks do I look for that year?
Nickels and dimes never really interested me.....maybe cause I'm old and my eyesight ain't what it once was! Lol! I've been concentrating my roll hunts on quarters...but will soon be exploring half dollars.
that's cool
The 46 D at about 20:00 was a partial collar or railroad rim
I uploaded a short video on my finds over the years. I have a bunch of nickles from 1902 thru 1937. I also have a few rolls of buffalo nickels that i will open in another video.
Hello I just subscribe and just start in this hobby! Like to know is possible of finding a 1 cent coin with no date !?
Note 1964 D common yes. BUT!!!! Double die on a date. You can tell the bottom of the d left hand side as seen Southwest bottom left-hand corner. 10.000$ +++
I have a 1943 S. I think it's very worn though. It looks rubbed off around the rim and in the immediate middle.
I wish I can show you this 2015nickel back don't have all it's back only have the building part of some writing under the steps
All the water marks looks neat and the marks of each may have sig
