Mint Miser talks about 1976 Washington Bicentennial Quarters worth money. Which 1976 quarter errors and varieties are rare and what you need to look for if you’re hunting for this silver treasure in pocket change or bank rolls. 1976 Quarter, 1976 S Quarter and the 1976 D Quarter. Which one is silver? Which one is more valuable? Can I find these in pocket change? All of these questions are answered!
This was one of the best informative videos on CZcams !!!
Awesome an informative video for all of us quarter hunters!
Glad you enjoyed!
OMG! I would love to show you these quarters. You would not believe your eyes, and what they are looking at! I am so excited!!
I’ve found a 1976 D bicentennial quarter DDO FS 101 before! Was about a year ago and still in my collection! I’ve also found a “uncirculated” 40% silver bicentennial quarter before and 2 clad proofs!
Thank you !

I found A 1934 Quarter DDO fs-101 Recently. Condition was pretty rough. Maybe would grade up to 20. But still pretty cool. Been debating about selling it for a while.
Thankyou for including the San Francisco uncirculated set with the silver quarter. I just got a set for Christmas. The 4 million set
I try to be thorough. Congrats on your new uncirculated set!
@@MintMiser I'm having trouble finding a real value. Is the S minted silver uncirculated quarter worth what some are saying?
Tonight I found a fully filled D. This would be the first error coin I have ever found.
Great condition and all the other letters on both sides are very distinct. So it can't be from wear.
I found one just today I was very happy
I love looking through quarters and have been looking for the DDO Bicentennial for years but have never found one.
Same here, I enjoy my weekly box of quarters!
is DDO the ones with the letter D on them?
I just pulled a 76D FS-101 in a mint set with some really nice pastel blue and gold toning. Its going to GC for auction and grading.
Good luck with the grade!

I have one of these with a mint defect "filled D". How valuable is it?
This is new and interesting to me and have found some finds that are very interesting but i need advice. I can send pics

Do you have any idea how much a double struck bicentennial quarter is worth
Can I send a picture of 1976 quarter and need to look at the back of the quarter and in the quarter spelling that half of the t e r is gone
What about a gold plated one? Did they ruin it or enhance it?
Yes I keep every bicentennial I come across! Not just quarters
What about the “Filled in D” error I keep seeing and have 2 of
Question: At the 10:16 mark, the DDO that sold for $450...Where exactly is the doubling? I'm just learning and can't seem to see what y'all see.

My friend has a jar filled with Bicentennial quarters. I’m going to go through them and see what I find. 🤪
Ive inherited this coin, I believe its in great shape..Only a couple things are off to me..The first is there's no space between the I and N of IN. The second, the left hand of the drummer looks off, like a claw or something..
Either of those a common error?
I have several more coins. Im not sure of the value..This video has good information..Will check out your other videos for help on my other coins..
I found bicentennial quarter with a DDR but I seem to get more knowledge of it besides Wexler's website.
I only found a handful of bicentennial quarters and no I've never found a DDO in my pocket change before
I don't get too many of them but I'm always looking.
I have three of them and 4 1964 d obvious double strike on them and u centered. Also 1 1970 s.
I've got 6 of these coins one has a black band on the edge of coin, is this something others heard of ?.
What if mine doesn’t have a S or a D is it worth anything
Mine has an error on the back & front. I've not found one with the same error anywhere. A friend that collects coins & who has some knowledge on the subject said, that It's definitely not from damage. I guess the next thing to do is have it graded?
yes i found them roll huting from boxes from bank probably 70 dollars ln qaurters
For clarification, when you say silver clad, you mean over a visible copper core?
I have a 99 geogia quarter that has no silver plating it looks like a copper quarter what is it worth???
I have 3 of the bicentennial quarters with the D on it same as the one at 4:52 and I also have one with no D or S
Great Video Mint Miser! Quick question: What's the difference between the 1776-1976-D WASHINGTON QUARTER DDO FS-101 & FS-102 version? And which grading service on this coin would be more valuable, PCGS or NGC? Thank you!
Hey Denny, 101 is more obvious. Check this out for details doubleddie.com/1829488.html I don't know that one is more valuable over the other. PCGS is more popular than NGC.
Thanks so much for the reply!@@MintMiser That makes sense. I appreciate all the info on your videos!

I have one 1976 rare
I Have 3😊
i have a bicentinnial 1776 to 1976 quarter dollar
What is value of coin 1776-1976
I have 1976
I have a few I weighed them all,one of them is falling at 5.9 grams while the others are much lighter…why is that?
Hi Brandon, There are many possibilities. The scale you use should go out to hundreths of a gram. If it doesn't, it will round the number and be less accurate. A clad quarter should be about 5.67 grams, silver 6.25 grams. A coins weight may vary slightly but it shouldn't be too far off. Some coins will weigh a little less due to wear. Sometimes coins are minted on the wrong planchet like a foreign planchet. Our mint does do work for other countrys and territories. There are also experimental planchets and I'm sure I missed other possibilities. There are some forums and groups on FB that you can post pictures to or look for explanations that may fit your coin. I found 2 for you right here - www.cointalk.com/threads/1974-quarter-5-9-grams.338002/ and mikebyers.com/exp25cset.html Let me know what you figure out. Good luck!
@@MintMiser thank you very much!
