Those two boxes cost $2,000 and they produced MAYBE $100 worth of cards… That is unbelievable…. To put in perspective, that’s 5% of what you spent is returned to you..a slot machine, A SLOT MACHINE generally has a return to player of 95%. Opening modern wax, you’re either a person who is in a position to lose lots of money and are comfortable with that or you’re just really unintelligent

The values of the cards would drop if you provide so much value that people would rather open sealed product than purchase individual cards.

I LOVE When i see breaks that result in low or no ROI FOR 2 reasons.
1. Odds are my breaks will be better
2. This proves rarity and the frustration can only be resolved with high cost purchases.

The Ausar Thompson silver and Gradey Dick silver are pretty decent cards.
I mean, the Grady is a $10-15 card. The Auser is a $20-30 card. Good pulls from a blaster but, not from a $1k hobby box.

Like the new studio setup. The lighting is way better. Used to be a pain watching your videos when you guys ripped packs of cards with chrome surfaces because it was tough to see what the card looked like based on the lighting and angle that you were holding the cards at during the videos.

Exactly what I do now. Usually just click on ones I'm interested in and let them send me private offers then decide to buy. I only buy rookie and pre rookie cards that's all I buy. Not interested in any second year plus of any players even wemby

Leaf is the best run sports card company, with the best value. If they had the licenses, the hobby would shoot straight to the moon. Id rather get an unlicensed star game-used patch auto from them than a patch auto from Panini, where the “patch” is from a used shower curtain.

Geoff Always Repeating The Same Words Annoys The Hell Out of Me... Those Boxes was not Worth what you paid for them.
I would love it if the manufacturers would stop putting 💩 autograph cards in the packs. They are just 'filler cards" to fulfill the box odds of getting an auto. The packs aren't priced for kids to purchase and I'm pretty sure the people spending money on cards would like only getting autos of star players. The disappointment when we get a no name auto is like a kick in the gut.
why would they do it if people keep paying that kind of money for that crap though.

23-24 Prizm Basketball is one of the worst sports card products of all time. A large % of boxes missing both autos. Even if you get your autos, the top players don’t sign. Terrible quality control with condition of the cards. Over produced so, almost impossible to hit anything of note. Ridiculously overpriced. Wemby cards being crazy high saved Panini.
