really enjoyed the conversation.It's long, but it was entertaining. This definitely showed a normal side to Geoff, which is nice to see.
I can summarize for you. First 20 minutes, "I was the first guy to do xyz, and I listened to you and you were the first guy to do xyz" repeat a few times. Next 20 minutes, "Look at my cards, they're cool right? Iconic, iconic, iconic. Ty sniffing Drexler's sweat. Desmond Ridder LOL. Cards HQ money sink."

Geoff got me back into collecting. I have a 17 month old son now and I can't wait to share this hobby with him. I hope to take him on a trip to Cards HQ one day. Both of you guys are a positive for the hobby.

Love the fact it brings the entire family into collecting. Take us middle aged guys back to when we we're kids bringing back the excitement. Vantastic stuff. Huge respect just for helping not only make things family orientated but really you could save kids life's by introducing them into collecting and showing them the fun side and the value in collecting. I've met both Geoff (SCI) and Ryan (CC2) and one big thing with both of them is that they are absolutely great with kids. I recently got back into the hobby and I model my approach to the hobby much like these guys do. I love it, and my kids love it. And that's what this hobby is about. Collecting, having fun and passing the fun on to others.

Geoff certainly has his supporters and his detractors, but after watching this great episode of Chasing Cardboard, he certainly comes across as an authentic, motivated, passionate, and thoroughly likeable family man (which are clearly key ingredients to his success). That is extremely hard to fake.
I'd urge people to take ANY You Tube uploaders' investment advice with a grain of salt - esp. those with a vested interest, who stand to gain financially from driving 'hype' - and just enjoy it all for what it is... content. At the end of the day, the individual is responsible for the investment decisions THEY choose to make.
Thanks to Geoff for taking us through his family home, his collection, and his vision for his shop. It's clear that Geoff has some great people behind him, and has had a lot of great advice in the whole process of his new venture (which he has taken onboard). I appreciate his honesty, his modesty in pointing out people who have influenced him along the way (including you, Ty!), and wish him well.

You always do an amazing show, but I especially loved this episode! Geoff gets a lot of unfair criticism and it was refreshing to see him in his element, at home showcasing his collection, and the love he has for the hobby we all enjoy. Kudos! 👏🏼
I have 4 David Robinson cards, hand signed by the Admiral himself. I sent those cards to the Alamo in 1993 when I was a 13 yr old. He returned all the cards, once he even sent me a cassette tap and a signed autobiography.

Super entertaining episode. Nice to see Geoff Wilson as just a normal guy. I’ve never been into ultra modern investing in sport cards but your show ignited my vintage love of the hobby. Does Geoff do this in a full-time basis now? I know he owned some kind of an Investment Business and did cards on the side. Interested to know if this is full-time gig going forward....anyone know??

If I'm not mistaken, his shop's going to be right down the road from Truist Park (Braves), not too far from the Home Depot HQ. I lived in that area about 15 years ago and loved it. Great spot for a sports card/multimedia venture that'll not only draw in retail customers and the online crowd but also open up the door to discounts from distributors.

Would love to see you or him do app that let's you scan your collection without fees or scan limits I think collectors want to have a digital library of the cards in the boxes I hope you guys do something like that I would scan so many to have a ideal of what I have so many collectors don't even know what they have and a simple scan app that's free would be epic
When I saw Geoff purchase the "Dream Team" set at the National I became jealous. I got to see that team play in Portland.

Wow what a great episode. I think Geoff Wilson is a visionary and his card shop is going to be exactly what this hobby needs. I had my preconceived noations about Geoff and realized that's all they were what a great guy and truly a good man. Ty thank you for such a great show and this is my American Pickers sports card show. You guys are truly awesome and inspiring. I am moving to Las Vegas at the end of the month and can't wait to go see Marcels shop. I can't wait for the next show everytime I see a new episode.

I have thousands of cards still from when I was a kid from the 80’90’s and early 2000’s. What’s the best way to look up the value because I know times have changed and we don’t use the becks book anymore. I know some have to be worth a lot of money. Probably 70% baseball cards 20% football 10% baseball cards

I have boxes and boxes of old sports cards from when i was a kid. My dad used to bring home boxes and boxes every couple days. about 30 year old sealed boxes. I pulled so many cards that show very high value if graded well but nervous about what to do next. I need some help. all of my cards are raw. Whats the first step i should take with my collection. I have Ludex on my phone and I'm currently adding my collection on there but Im really just going in circles here. Last time i was doing this I was 12 years old . Now I'm 40 and have a whole collection in my attic .

I was one of Geoffs first 100 subs and his rise is simply INSPIRATIONAL... COVID almost destroyed my dreams but being locked down with his content and my childhood collection locked away till then allowed me to connect with my young daughter in away that I will never be able to express on here....THANK YOU GEOFF..and as a diehard DAWGS fan i dont hold his lizard love against him lol😅..I'm trying to open a card shop experience like his here in NC...LONG LIVE THE SPORTS CARD INVESTORS!!!!SCR OWES HIM A THANK YOU TOO without a punching bag those bullies wouldn't have half the audience they have now..

Absolutely amazing set!
Should teach people about investing in general and then how to apply these principles to sportscards. The same applies. Lots of people lost 90% while influencers were hyping everything for the last 2 years. As an investor, I wouldn't have advised anyone to buy anything with all the 2021 greed. Now that fear has set in, is when it is time to buy. Yet, education is still minimal. Just guys chasing trends.
I like Geoff. He seems like a nice guy. Positive influence in the hobby and seems like a hard worker.
