So, I’ve watched the video multiple times now and each time I think I’m going to comment but it’s hard to put my thoughts into words. This was an amazing experience for my family and we will be forever grateful for the chance to honor my dad and his collection. Everything about this video is genuine including the excitement, laughs and memories. Matt really outdid himself with the Slurpee video right after I told the story about us collecting Slurpee disks! My boys loved listening to the guys talk about all the cards. Ty, Mike and Matt, we can’t thank you enough for chasing our cardboard all the way to WV!
It was an honor watching this episode and getting to see his collection. You can tell it meant a lot which is what it's all about.
I live in Winchester and love Berkeley. My grandfather collected near the area and this reminds me so much of him. I wish I could of had more time to talk cards. He left me some box's although I've collected many years it was awesome. He collected everything lol
Love this collection and that it was in West Virginia!! Let's go Mountaineers!
This is Harlan IV and the filming of this video was great! Super fun time. Thanks mike and ty for helping with All the cards.
Great job Harlan! You have such a great family.
Hey Harlan, you mentioned trains. Are they from the 50s and 60s? I know a guy out your way that could be interested. And oh yeah, the cards were incredible. Thanks for letting Mike and Ty show this off.
Man you were awesome! I'm still dreaming of your 86 Jordan! How did the school project go?
Unbelievable , favorite episode to date
What collecting is all about right here. Thank you John 🙏🏻
Great story about John and the family. What an awesome guy with an amazing collection. Great video and storyline
This totally proves my point that there are collections around us that have yet to be discovered.
What a collection! Glad you had time to stop by. 👍
Absolutely PJ!
What a wonderful story and collection. The storytelling component to this show gets better with each episode. Well done!
Love how this channel is building! @Netflix is still missing out on an opportunity here!!
The granddaughter said “paper tablet”…… A notebook…??? You mean a note book right?!?! Lol kids today never cease to surprise me haha
Lol! Her grandfather always said tablet.
Can't get enough of chasing cardboard! Best show on CZcams. Will you please post new content daily? Lol
Hats off to Mike and Ty for a great show with amazing content. Special shoutout to Matt for doing a stellar job as well. Capturing the emotion of cardboard is really noticeable in these episodes. Really next level type stuff! I raise a Spotted Cow to you all! 🍻
WoW 🤩 that’s an incredible collection! I love that he had build this collection for the love of the hobby - no financial expectation!
This show is a collector’s and Sellers dream show! The way the Sportscards are as much a part of the show as the collection & Collector’s history is fantastic! This is easily my favorite show across all media! Keep up the good work!
Keep chasing guys !!
Again capturing the personality of the collector.
Thats integrity.
Appreciate that!
Sweet Card Shop! Great Ep.!!!!
Thanks Jax!
Thank you for allowing the family to chime in on John and his collection..Allows us to be sucked into the story like we are there with yall..
That's great feedback Michael - appreciate it!
John is the embodiment of what a true collector is. That’s awesome!
Love the vintage slurpee commercial!! The side stories from the family you included were amazing as well. Every episode is better and better. Thanks guys
Thanks for sharing this video. John stood for everything that’s good about collecting cards. So refreshing to see someone who loved his cards & valued them more than money. Best of luck selling them for his lovely family.
Thanks David!
I was like ok time to get stuff done now and then you guys upload and now I need to watch the vid!
Haha!! Sorry to delay your real work. :-)
@@CHASINGCARDBOARD it was 100% worth delaying my “real work” sorting cards lol
This is literally a dream of a collection to find for sale, especially untouched from anyone picking out the best stuff. Feels like a one in a million collection to find. The only thing I’m mad about is that you guys “part 2’ed” us lol.
It’s great that these videos you’ve created can pass on a legacy like John in this case after he has passed. What an amazing collection of vintage cardboard. Hope you guys brought the Brinks truck for this collection. Great B-roll with the scenery around West Virginia in the fall. Keep up the great work.
What a moving episode for me. Thinking about my grandfather and his coin/penny collection. I remember him sitting his kids and us grandkids down and passing out his collection and explaining why. Takes me back to sitting with him at his table going over all of his coin collection. I think about him often (since his passing 5 years ago) with my card collection and now my kids with their PC. What a beautifully made episode.
Every video literally feels like a tv show! Keep up the amazing work!
Thanks so much Camara!
It is. Just a CZcams tv show. I hope it stays this way on CZcams. Real cable shows usually ruin content creativity and heart like this one has.
I was going to write the same thing! The quality is amazing, sounds great and looks great.
Awesome! Just Awesome! Thank you for sharing this journey......
Thanks Joe!
you guys have the best job in the world
Agreed!
I love looking at the cards but I got to be honest the story is what keeps me here. Getting to know these people's lives to their cards is incredible what a wonderful and loving family
100% agree! :-)
Amazing collection, amazing amount of care and respect for how the family was displayed and I can’t wait to watch this deal unfold
Really great episode, and what an amazing collection that gentleman had. Just a treasure trove. Love the way he involved his kids, and that they have sweet memories of him and their time with him. And I liked his take on grading! Lol.
Wow, great episode!!! What a collection! Also the family was so kind. Can’t wait for next episode!
“I’m from Winchester-son-field-ville…” lol sorry hearing the town reminded me of Mr. Deeds movie hahaha
I really enjoy seeing the vintage stuff. I wonder how many people contact them with "hey ive got a huge collection of 80s baseball you need to check out". haha.
Great episode! Can't wait to see how this gets valued. I'm guessing consignment is going to be best way to get the family the best value while incentivizing your team to work hard for them and take a fair cut of profits ... I guess we'll see 😀
The three act feel of this episode (Hobby store/town/collection) was very nice. Feels even more polished. You guys keep improving! I don't have any card collecting friends over here in Korea, but I've been recommending the channel to my non-card-collecting friends anyway!
Mike looks like a golden legend for 76 years old! It's gotta be his daily freshed squeezed T206 musk routine
Sounds like my kind of guy. I'm a lot like John great story.
That's an exceptional card collection that you guys are going through.. Sorry that John passed away but his story will live on for many years to come through his fantastic collection..😲😍 Very nice of you and Mike to help the family out by taking on this huge collection and helping them get the most for all they have.. Looking forward to the next episode to see more of these beautiful cards..😲🕵 Take care guys..👍💕🔥⚾🤙
Thanks so much Jackie!
The sugar ray Robinson cards caught my attention
Yes! Those are being graded now.
Awesome! Looking forward to the next part
As always, love this channel. This is a must see for real collectors. Thank you guys.
Unbelievable! Another great episode and oh my what a collection. That would be amazing to sit through and listen to the stories of all those cards. Cannot wait to see what yall did!
I think you'll like the ending.... thanks for tuning in!
I just came across your channel this week and omg, ive binged most of it. absolutely amazing stuff and quality. cant wait to see more and more content!
Wow! I was mesmerized with his collection. I love the line when Ty said he has to carry Mike to the car lol. Can't wait until the next episode.
Honestly, we thought Mike might curl up and sleep on the floor to get an early start the next day lol!
Awasome people at kollectable kings.
Agreed!
What an incredible collection from what was clearly an incredibly guy!
Thank you. Dad was pretty amazing and loved by many!
Awesome video once again Ty. Was a pleasure meeting you and Mike. Keep on chasing my friends!
Yes!!!
I'm so impressed with this show! I discovered it earlier this week and have watched almost every episode. The quality is on par with any show on television. Love the fact you don't shy away from letting others talk about God. You have a beautiful family as well!! Keep producing these amazing shows!
The yellow Jackie is 48 Leaf, and it's his rookie card, huge card, wow.
Great stuff, guys. I'm totally addicted to this show. Its so much better than watching dudes wandering around card shows trying to act like big shot CEOs.
This channel is so well produced and entertaining. How can they only have 16k subscribers?
We all wonder the same thing
Patience! :-)
Its still pretty new. As good as these guys are It will start growing fast. This is way better than a lot of other stuff out there.
It’s the youtube and card collecting entertainment and educational content, with American picker and only in America minus Larry the Cable, more genuine for interest and relation encountering of networking and community building. Well done! With a bunch of card content losing their appeal and exposure of profit seeking not genuine hobby collectors that appreciate the cards and fellowship of admiration for collections, trades, and deals for the favorite players that value is beyond a rookie prism top qb, that will lose 75% after the first 100 are sold. I collect colts/pacers/cubs/Purdue alum/ Kevin Garnett/Tim Duncan/and just starting Hakeem/Josh Giddey/ and by sheer luck and hits Kyler Murray, Trae Young, and Devin Booker. None of these guys are 5 figure sells, but I love seeing them pulled just as much as a $100 card I got lucky and hit in the same break. I hated that last market flood and price gouging, mainly because kids sat there and wished to even get the suns or raiders selling at $25+ a break. Kids shouldn’t be priced out of the absolute joy they have just to open packs. I remember when me and my dad would stop by the news stand and get a pack of topps, whatever sport was printed at the time for $.50. I would’ve hated to see a guy go in and buy every pack they had and only care for the top rookies and not when they saw that bear and colts logo coming next.
This channel will pick up viewers the more content of the consignment coming and will stand the test of sports card burnout and last as long as the creators wish.
Also, well one slowly revealing the heavy hitters. Keep spreading them out and I’d suggest by players or sets. Player would be most interesting and the opportunity to pay homage and respect and educate this generation devoting content to of their greatness. But, I know you both are already on top of that. You both know what you’re doing and do it well. A lot of these trading card investors will fade just like a lot of the newer top rookies value do in their next coming years. The trading card collectors market on CZcams is yours if that’s your preference and goal. I don’t worry either of you will put wants over needs, so all around balance of family, friends, fun, and focus and this show will reflect the absolute blessing of opportunity and outcome you will have. True successful influencers. I’m excited to subscribe tonight and watch you’re awesome journey through collecting, networking, and cultural experiences. Stay low to the ground with faith, family, and focus and naturally high, like a kid, to the awe of this hobby and the beautiful people and interactions along the way. A little jealous, but absolutely blown away and excited to even watch these experiences that, in only viewing 2 episodes I see that match about to scrape the side of the box and thrown
Into a dry, large pile of brush. I’m going to predict, 3 more episodes 275k followers.
Great card shop!!! Had to comment on that first! Seems to be more about repeat business and making his customers feel like they’re going to the right place for cards or collectibles!!! Definitely will be checking the store out!!!
Yes!! Do it Joey!!
JOHN'S PC FTW 👍🤘
I literally live 15 minutes away from KK this is awesome!!
Awesome! Hopefully you visit their often!
Another great episode!!
Nice to see some familiar sights at Fairfax Corner in the beginning. Great eateries around there. Coastal Flats and Uncle Julio’s to name a few.
Next, Thanks to y’all i hit up KK shortly after the last video aired and was just as impressed. Nicely laid out and organized.
Finally, wow! I love the stories behind the cardboard. Looking forward to next episode.
Thank you Kev!
Dang. That is some fun stuff. John was a collector.
In the truest sense.... a pure collector.
Noooooo way y’all ended it on a cliff hanger Lmaoo!!! 🔥
:-) --- we debated on just making this a 60min episode.
Mizzou!! Nice hoodie. Great video too!
Right On Time!! Love This Channel!!
Ha! Thank you!!!
just found your videos and man am i hooked you got me back into the card bussiness and i just reached out to someone to buy my first vintage collection cuz of you, thanks man
Man this was one of my favorite episodes. I love all the stories and the production of this show is freaking insanity. I am turning into a fanboy so gotta go buy a shirt lol.
Awesome!! Thank you Purple!
The TV networks better wake up and make this a show. It's rare you see a new channel on YT popping up that does everything right and professional from day 1. I'm really impressed by how you take fellow collectors on a journey.
This would be a massive hit on the History Channel.
@@tampahomeinvestorsllc7559 Yeah that's what I was thinking as well
@@tampahomeinvestorsllc7559 The only problem with it going on TV, would it becoming fake like Storage Wars. If it goes to Netflix, they can keep it their own.
@@jcleveland9056 I didn’t think of that. I hope it always stays authentic. What they’ve created is something really special and hopefully they are profitable, but always stay real.
There is nothing like traveling the back roads in the north east in the fall. It’s beautiful country. I always search out the Redford/ Taylor life magazine. I grabbed one last year with the cards at an antique store for five bucks
What an expansive everyting collection .Some monster vintage cards. It's beyond me how to organize and sell. Good luck figuring it out.
Haha... that's why we exist. :-)
Top notch production 👌
Appreciate it... (I miss White Castle!)
I swear you guys should be on PBS or, somewhere on T.V! Thank you and your team for great videos and, the incredible, content
Preciate ya. 🙏
Holy cow!!! What a collection
As always. Stunned.
Incredible episode!
Best in the business!!!! Having fun and telling real stories, thank you thank you thank you!
Thank you!!
Dude watching those commercials from that time and seeing Mickey mantle always gives me chills what an amazing time to be alive. Back when social media and technology wasn’t so advanced everything looked simple. I was born in 88 but the 90s were great times as well. I collected Pokémon and opened what’s called now vintage packs that are worth a lot of money now. I wish I would of kept collecting and got into sports cards at that time. I’m actually back to collection now that I’m 35 and I have a son now and he loves opening packs of Pokémon cards and soon I’ll be taking him to card shows. People just think that oh cards it’s just cardboard there is more to that it’s the stories behind the cards and the players and the rush you feel when you pull something nice.
Good point. They do have meaning and memories. Thanks for watching.
The Kollectible Kings are great! They set up awesome shows in the area too!
Yes they are!
Thank you!
Great episode. Nobody tells stories better. Don’t tell Las Vegas or LA about that water spring pumping 1k gallons per minute. Or George Washingtons bathtub will be a dried up desert. 🤫
I stopped in Kollectible Kings on my way to outer banks. Great shop. Look forward to going back the next time im in the area.
Heck yeah!
Another amazing video! AWESOME!
How is this not picked up by discovery or the history channel 🤯
That truly was a joy to watch!
I loved this episode. It’s definitely starting to look like something you would watch on cable. I really enjoy it. Thank you
Thanks FT --- appreciate the support!
Super touching to see how this man's collection created all these unlikely and rich memories for multiple generations of non-collecting family. The slurpee story is priceless.
Glad you enjoyed it
Love the Josh Allen pop up!
Beyond belief!!! WOW!!! 😊
Agreed!
Love the journey guys. Awesome family and opportunity for collectors. John's story is certainly one of the highlights of the show!
I absolutely love your videos and I am very jealous of your job. It has to be so rewarding to not find and see these collections but see all the sites and learn all the stories. Sounds like a dream.
Thank you Vinnessa!!! It's surreal many days... :-)
I live in West Virginia cool to see you come here. I love the content
Yea I'm a long haul card collector, my grandfather got me into collecting cards when I was 10.
lets go tigers! M-I-Z!!
Z-O-U ---- Lessgo!
Awesome that the guy was 100% raw and didn't like the whole concept of grading. A lot of us can relate.
He stopped collecting in the mid-90s well before grading "made it big". At the time, he thought the idea of it was just dumb.
@@johnsmanycollections4662 When I first saw a graded card slab in 1990, I thought it was dumb too. It wasn't PSA, it was the first grading company called ASA, who ultimately licensed the patented plastic slab to PSA.
What a AWESOME COLLECTION!!!! Reminds me of myself!! If I had the money I’d buy like that but I have to pick and choose wisely! But I’m just a collector so I haven’t sold anything and don’t plan to! But I have been thinking of selling some things to buy more vintage cards or maybe a few cards I Really want for my collection!!! I loved all those cards but I’d love to own the Griffey & Chipper or the set actually of Dessert Shield Cards!!!! Those are the years I grew up collecting and couldn’t afford as a kid and still can’t as a adult!!! I’m a Griffey Collector And Big Fan Of Him And The Way He Played The Game!!!
This collection was acquired and assembled over 50 years. There is no rush.
Keep chipping away at it!
Dad started collecting as a child. So his collection did take many years to build. You’ll get there and enjoy the thrill of the hunt!
Great episode guys! You guys should be on cable tv, great stuff
Appreciate that Fatherson..... thanks for tuning in.
Good ppl at Kollectable Kings its my local shop There great on prices Ty im glad to c u come n visit
PJ is an amazing dude. Glad to stop in!
Great episode as always. Another cliffhanger ending!
Appreciate it Ben!
I would watch this everyday as I’ve watched every episode and this is real, not that new documentary on sports cards coming out that has nothing but the garbage of the hobby in it like Steve Aoki and Geoff Wilson. Those influencers have ruined the hobby and collecting and are only out for themselves. This is real, true collecting and entertainment.
Ty, Mike and Matt are real in every sense of the word. The showed genuine excitement and caring towards our family and my dad, John’s collection. They have that “something” that is missing from most CZcams shows these days!
As usual quality! Keep up the great work!
Thank you Damien!
This episode is so special to me being I have been to Berkeley springs and also have close relatives in WV, PLUS I collect so this is just a beautiful episode and LOVED the Mantle commercial clip! What a family and collection!
Really awesome collection, and great episode. I'm pretty familiar with that area, as I visit multiple times a year. There are tons of cool things to do from a card standpoint. Looking foward to the next episode.
Thanks so much BF
amazing collection. great episode!
Thanks Juan!
Love the Mizzou hoodie
Thank you!!! MIZ
insane collection. That would be so fun to go through.
