    I did same muzzle upgrade and also machined a brass diffuser/emitter tip about 5/8” diameter and my Eastwood gun works pretty good. Next I will build a small booth. Thanks for your videos, they helped in the process.

      Thanks bro! I’ve got another idea for it just gotta figure out if I can make it work simple enough.
      You could definitely get creative with a 3D printer. You should try to see if you can design a fan tip for it. I bet that would be a big hit.

    Great info, just subscribed. I’d love to see your oven and spray booth setup. I’m building my first oven right now to step up from a toaster oven and I’m always looking for ideas. It’s only going to be 2’ x 2’ x 3’ for now until I can find room to build something bigger.
    Edit: never mind. I just clicked on your videos and saw that you have a video for the booth. Going to check it out now.

    So question I'm doing a large blasting cabinet and large oven that are home made, I'm making them out of 275gal fuel tanks. The oven is going to be gas because it's 100% heat and heats faster. Now, do u see a problem with using gas ovens, and is there more money made in larger items. Just a quick pro con if u could. Thanks for the channel it's came in very helpful.

    I just purchased the dual voltage Eastwood gun, I noticed you kept clicking the button with your thumb, does that help with the powder sticking into little corners or what?

    • @royalcoatspowdercoating
      @royalcoatspowdercoating  Před 2 lety +2

      My opinion is that it helps get those hard to reach areas. Kind of like pulsing the trigger on an intermediate/pro level gun. The trigger activates the charge and the powder flow at the same time. Give it a try if you have an area that powder seems to have a hard time attesting to.
      Also stay tuned, I’ll be offering some tips and attachments to make the Eastwood even better 👍🏼

      Im green to powdercoating, and am looking to start up a business doing it. I want to invest money into the right kind of gun to do this at a professional level, but want to keep it as cheap as possible without the equipment being garbage. I've been heavily considering getting the eastwood dv gun and doing the hopper and this mod to it, but am curious to see if you know of another gun kit that might work better.
