Malcolm Containers & Dapol Megafrets

- In this video we take a look Oxford Diecast 'Malcolm' Curtainsider containers, available from www.scalemodelscenery.co.uk/ next week. These containers by Oxford Diecast, designed for use with their 1:76 model truck range. Are fully compatible with Dapol container flat wagons, such as their Megafret wagon seen in this video.
The containers are designed to go with Oxford Diecast Reach Stacker trucks, as shown in this video. Various liveries are offered these being in Konecranes plain livery, Stobart livery, Malcolm livery, & also miltary green liveries. The reach stacker will also be available from www.scalemodelscenery.co.uk/ - Jak na to + styl

Ive never thought about containers but seeing yours I must say they do look the part I just need a second job to afford to get some.I would like to thank you for your help on the bridge you made but as yet I'm unable to get one but I'm saving up

Finally sorted the bogies out using a Dapol catenary mast plastic washer on each bogie so yeah well happy
Mine derail all the time. Did you figure out what causes it?

Nice video. I saw a couple of the Malcolm containers at a show recently but didn't have time to speak to the vendor. Glad I've got the info now, I'll look into ordering some from Justin.

Not to worry will just have to take my time building it, At the DRS depot in Aberdeen they have a very similar crane but unfortunately not in use anymore, they have two of the stacker trucks to load and unload the 45' containers for Tesco and Asda. John
Think you'll be okay if you take your time on the layout build, you should be okay.
I wonder if you did a video of building the Ratio gantry, I just bought one very daunting to say the least, lot's of little bits.

Can you or have you done a video of how to make PECO points ready for use in DCC, I understand there is wiring needed to make sure the points don't cause a fault with the electrics

Does your dapol megafrets derail a lot? Mine do I’m full of regrets! luckily i only shelled out £47 in total.....I’m sticking to bachmann version from now on
Had no issues with the Dapol Megafrets, found them to be very good reliable runners.
